Newly rehabbed single family home with parking in Chicago's popular Pilsen neighborhood. Close to transportation, 18th street restaurants, night life, and music venues like Thalia Hall and Radius. 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Entire space features brand-new furniture, mattresses, appliances, and fixtures. Guests have access to 1 parking spot and shared basement laundry space. Space was thoughtfully designed to offer guests a relaxing stay in our hometown, Chicago! Owner occupies the separate basement apartment seasonally.
We really enjoyed this super cute house! It was the perfect spot for our group. The descriptions and photos are accurate, and it is a very comfortable place. Communication with Tori was easy, and she is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Several co-workers had to be in Chicago for a conference. We looked to be close to the convention center and found this location. The home was comfortable and had all that we needed. This would be a consideration if we are in the area again.
The house was beautiful, it made for a great weekend, and off street parking (especially in Chicago) made the weekend restful and so much fun. The host was hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed, and communication was easy. We highly recommend this listing.
We just spent a great Memorial Day weekend relaxing in this beautiful historic house and enjoying the Pilsen neighborhood. Spent a whole day just roaming the area on foot, visiting the National Museum of Mexican Art, having lunch out, watching kids play baseball in the park, and sampling bakeries and bookstores. The great surprise was that the Mole de Mayo festival was happening on 18th Street, with live music on two stages and two blocks of vendors to enjoy. Hope you can have as nice a time!
Very well appointed with great attention to the details! We sure enjoyed our stay near family on this quiet street in this cute bungalow.
I have two recommendations:
1. A grab bar to get in and out of the shower on the lower level. Some in our group have mobility issues.
2. Needed hooks or some means to hang wet towels, clothes, etc. upstairs.
Definitely will plan to stay again! Thank you!
Easy to get into, spotlessly clean, and within walking distance of entertainment, restaurants, etc. We went to a show at Thalia Hall, which is quite close. The rooms and appointments were as described, and the neighborhood, while not fancy, is quiet and safe. Would book again.
Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband, grown son, my brother and his wife. This home is delightfully remodeled and fresh. We had everything we needed with plenty of space to spread out. The home was clean and better than the photos. 10/10 would stay again.
