Renee was great! The space is very functional. We were there for a short weekend. Wish the weather would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the dock and the beautiful views more. Highly recommend!
Perfect for my husband and I for a little weekend getaway! Renee was kind and responsive, gave a great little tour of the property. Beautiful part of town, short distance from many activities and great restaurants!
The kitchen is the laundry room, so no place to do dishes. To get to the outside space was a hassle: side yard had construction going on. To get to the waterside we had to go through Reneâs personal space. We only stayed 2 of the 3 nights we reserved.
The hostess was amazing and gave me a quick tour upon arrival. Everything was as she said it would be. I was able to boat to the property in about ten minutes from the boat launch, which was only a two minute drive from the property. I would definitely stay there again someday!
Great communication from Renee made it an easy check in process and stay. She was also very accommodating with allowing us to use her dock. One very large bedroom upstairs with bathroom, laundry, and kitchenette downstairs.
It was a great stay although we didnât get to utilize the kayaks or boat rentals. We didnât have time as it was my first time to Onalaska, WI and I did a lot of site seeing. It was nice to have your own entry, and private space. It was very clean and cozy, I Would enjoy going back!
We were in La Crosse for a tournament. Wanted somewhere quiet but close to ball field. It was a very quiet spot, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. Our host was super. She gave us info on the area, bought the coffee, and even made chicken on the grill. We could relax by the dock.
This was ideal for me for a mini retreat after flight planes got cancelled and I made a pivot to a road trip. As a single woman, safety is always my first concern, and I felt secure. The location is ideal to go downtown and walk along the river or head to a number of hiking or biking trails. Or if you just want to sit and chill, hang out at the dock in the back and let the world float by.
This property was double booked. We had booked a month in advance and had received a confirmation message the day before we traveled. We ended up in the Econo Lodge...ugh!
This is a wonderful place to stay on the river with access to the dock where I saw gulls, bald eagles, egrets, and great blue herons every day. Renee is a gracious host and was very responsive to every question I had. The unit is very comfortable, clean and well supplied.
