Waterfront home for you and your furry friends.

Cottage on Lake Gaston with shallow water for wading, boathouse, and kayaks, floats, paddleboards & small canoe readily available. A pool and playground are available for guests 1-2 miles away.
Although the house is older, the kitchen was remodeled in 2021,bathroom updated in 2023, upstairs freshly painted, powder room redecorated in 2024, and carpets, draperies, etc. added very recently. You'll enjoy a large, covered porch with water view, new TV's in both family room and owner bedroom, and family board games added for the occasional rainy days. We also offer corn hole, for family fun.
The home is situated on a heavily wooded lot ,so a hardpack walkway to the water has been added for comfort.
Child gates are installed at top of spiral stairs, and home sanitized according to CDC suggestions.
A book of nearby attractions, restaurants, and safety suggestions is available.

Once again, we had the best time staying here !!! The kids loved fishing off the dock and had a blast kayaking and kneeboarding in the cove. This location has everything we want in a getaway spot on Gaston, and Pat makes sure all your needs are well taken care of. Thanks for another wonderful vaca, Pat - see ya next year !!

First family lake vacation

This was our first lake vacation and we loved every minute of it! The house was so cute and cozy and came with all the things you could need. The waves to the lake was by far the best part. The walk in beach type area was perfect for our kids and dogs. The boat ramp was literally 4 houses away and the house is located on a culdesac. We look forward to booking this house again.

My kids also really enjoyed the complimentary paddle boards!

Love this place

Kayaking on the lake, dining and grilling on the large covered porch, quiet protected cove, community amenities, and close to food shopping, a bakery (Jenny Cakes on the Lake) and even a few restaurants are just a few reasons why we love this place.

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay

The house was the cleanest I’ve ever seen as a rental and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Having use of the paddle boards, kayaks and floats was awesome. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property!

This is our third stay at this property. We love it here. It has everything you need for your stay. We come to Lake Gaston to fish and it never disappoints and the covered dock is a bonus! Pat is fantastic to work with and she makes you feel like family. We will be back, again.

My New Happy Place!

We loved staying at this lake house. We had everything we needed and owner was available to quickly answer any questions. We loved the covered deck, swing on dock, and being able to bring a pet.

Pat was great and house was perfect for what I needed.

Although I was not using the house for vacation it was perfect for what I needed while I was working close bye. It was clean and had everything I needed. Perfect little getaway for me and my coworker. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

Fun at the lake

We had a wonderful stay. The home is clean and very well stocked with every thing you need, inside and out. Lots of towels, beds clean and made. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets also. Being able to bring our furry friends is a wonderful plus! We brought our boat and the launch is very close. This is our second time visiting and hope to get back soon!

Perfect getaway vacation!

We always look forward to staying at this comfortable home located on a quiet cove close to the Food Lion. There's a nice grassy spot with shade or sun by the water's edge where the kayaks can be easily launched. We caught several bream, catfish, and small bass from the kayaks and dock. The view is beautiful! The back porch is nice for meals, reading and relaxing and the home has everything we need. Thank you Pat for another wonderful vacation and for being a great host!

Looking for a relaxing lake vacation, you found it

We stayed at this location for 11 days, and rented a pontoon boat to enjoy the lake. Our 2 dogs joined us and had a blast at the water front beach. The house is older but very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect as you are minutes away from the main lake, and close to waterfront restaurants. We had a beautiful 12 days enjoying the outside location. Communication with the owner(Pat) was fast and great. Thank you for our family to make another set of great memories

Wonderful waterfront home.

The Wildwood point home was wonderful. Right on the water in a quiet cove, with a beautiful dock for our boat. The home was very well equipped. So many nice homey touches. My favorite place was the beautiful back porch. The boat ramp was only two homes down from the house. Being able to bring our fur baby was a big plus. We will be back!

Fishing Trip to Lake Gaston

This is our second stay at this property and we just love it! The house is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. The grocery store is a short drive and a bakery is just down the street. We brought our dogs and we were allowed to put our boat under cover at the dock which is so convenient. The boat ramp is within walking distance. The fishing is unbelievable and as long as we fish Lake Gaston we will stay at this property. Thank you, Pat, for your hospitality.

Pleasantly Surprised

The only thing lacking at this property is it’s description. It far exceeded our expectations right down to the private boat ramp and pool membership passes. The owner’s have anticipated your every need and couldn’t be more receptive to your inquiries. Our only disappointment was that our stay was too short.

First Gaston trip of the Season

This is our third Summer renting this property, and we plan to keep on showing up as long as it’s available. Everything about this location is just perfect for our family, which includes young grandkids and fury family members. Pat and Rick do a great job making sure everything is in perfect order when you arrive, and they make us feel like we’re extended family coming to visit. Looking forward to our next booking and our chance to create more memories in Littleton. 😊♥️

Relaxing getaway!

My kids and I truly enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of space for us and our dog, and the house was set up to feel like a home. It was easy to cook most of our meals in the kitchen, which I appreciated. We enjoyed movie nights, game nights, and puzzles in the evenings. During the day, there were many adventures to be had! The dock was a peaceful place to relax, read, and observe the surrounding nature. It was so fun to explore the lake via the kayaks. The neighborhood had a fun lake access point for swimming! The hosts were welcoming, communicative, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We look forward to our next visit!

All you need

My stay was great! The house has a very cozy atmosphere. I basically lived on the back deck. I had morning coffee there with a book, worked there (wifi was fine),and put together a jigsaw puzzle. The wooded property and lake breeze made it a perfect spot to hang. The house itself has everything that you need. I was given the wrong code for the lock box and thought it was going to be the start of a bad situation, but I was able to contact the owner who immediately offered the correct information. If I lived a bit closer to this property I would definitely consider a yearly retreat!

Perfection Again!!!!!

This is my second year staying at Pats place. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Pat is to deal with. I have been coming to the lake for more than 10 years and she is the most gracious host, most accommodating that I have ever dealt with. This is the perfect Lakehouse for me. You have everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is comfy and cozy. Can’t wait to come back in the winter and use that woodstove! I absolutely love the deck for meals and just listening to nature! The most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen have been experienced down at the dock overlooking the lake. If you are not a morning person, you have to be a morning person at least once during your stay to experience the beauty of a sunrise over the lake . Neighbors are very friendly as well and you are so close to the Food Lion for groceries! Another fantastic week!!

Nice Getaway

Host (Pat) responded timely when we had questions & seemed genuinely interested in helping us make the most of our vacation. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and it was clean upon arrival. The linens were fresh & looked fairly new. (We’ve stayed at other homes in past where that was not the case). It was nice not having to pack bedding & towels nor wash linens when we left. The house is small with only one full bath (downstairs) but it worked fine for us this trip. Seniors & those with small children or handicaps should note that all bedrooms are located downstairs & a narrow spiral staircase is the only back exit from the upper deck. Again this wasn’t problematic for us but it could be for others. We loved floating at the dock and the host supplied plenty of lake toys for us to enjoy. The covered dock was not wide enough for our small boat to enter but there was enough space on pier right beside it to dock our boat on water during our stay. Also, loading was easy since the boat ramp is located just a few yards away. We enjoyed spending time on the back covered deck & on the swing at the dock. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks again Pat!

Thank you Pat for another wonderful vacation! We always enjoy fishing from the kayaks and the ease of launching them from the shoreline. Our biggest catch of the week was a 34" cat fish caught on light tackle from our fishing kayak! The shady area and shallow shoreline is perfect for young children. The house is comfortable and a great location. Pat is always very helpful in ensuring you have a good time. We are already looking forward to returning in the spring!

I have always wanted to own a B & B, and hosting this lake house is the closest we can get. We do our own cleaning and much of the maintenance between bookings and take personal pride in seeing that the home and property provide the best possible vacationing experience for our guests.

This is one of the few properties that welcomes well-mannered pets. We bring our own pets here and it adds to the family enjoyment .(and saves on boarding fees) We do request a refundable pet deposit of $350 which is refunded to you as soon as our cleaning is complete.
The property is on the water and only a few hundred feet from the boat ramp. There is a dock with several cleats to tie off guests' boats, but the beach is suitable for wading or floating.
