A very comfortable home. Beautiful screened in porch with an absolute gorgeous view of the lake. Our host Renee is a lovely lady and was available without delay with any questions we had. I highly recommend.

Overall, it's a very nice place for relaxing. Unfortunately the water was extremely low but that's no fault of the host. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would recommend putting in a stairway to the grilling area, the slope is for people younger than us. Very nice place and clean, we wiped everything down before we left so it should be left as clean as we got it. We will probably rent it again.

This home was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable and the host communicated very well. The screened-in porch was a great place to hang out and watch the beautiful view and amazing sunsets.

Great place overall! Comfortable beds, great screened in porch/deck with view of backyard, and incredible view of the water. Having a covered area with seating for the grill area was also a major plus. The property is in a location where no boats seem to pass by, so it’s extremely quiet and allows you to enjoy the sounds of nature. Hosts were very accommodating with a welcome basket, and having all important items/information labeled in the house. We would absolutely return again!

Exactly what we expected: clean and comfy in a beautiful setting. Bed and sheets were very comfortable, and we slept great. A/C kept up well despite how hot it was outside. Plenty of seating to enjoy the view.Hosts were friendly, responded quickly, and were very informative.We really enjoyed The Kennon House restaurant. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and nice atmosphere.Boating and fishing on Lake Gaston was fun. We thought we might get bored and return our boat rental early, but there was so much to do that we wish we had more time than a daily rental. The lake is huge and we only got to explore half with some fishing thrown in. Highly recommend if you enjoy boating and/or fishing.

Everything you need to have a great time with friends was supplied here all the girls slept great on very comfy beds full kitchen with everything we needed screened porch was very much used and appreciated plenty of room for people to move around and more . so happy we close this place and will be coming back for sure

Quaint Home on the Lake

The stay was peaceful and so relaxing! Waking up to the view of the lake was amazing & enjoying coffee on the back porch is a much!

Renee was fabulous. The house was very clean inside and beautiful. Our view was great and there was stores within minutes of the house. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would rent again.

If you like a relaxing and quiet stay, Slice of Heaven is the place. The lake house was clean and had everything you needed. Renee was quick to respond with questions and checking in to make sure everything was going well.

Nice lake view

Overall good experience and host was great. Area not the best which is what we were checking out. The screened in porch overlooking lake was the best part. Accommodations were ok, but was very clean and everything was provided.

Renee was a great host. We had a couple little issues and she was immediately on getting it fixed. The home was so peaceful and the view was absolutely beautiful. We visit family that is only 6 minutes away and we will always choose to stay here. Thank you Renee for hosting us.

Absolutely delightful stay!

It is right on the lake and picture perfect beautiful. Sipping coffee in the mornings on the 3 season porch watching a peaceful sunrise and listening to fish jump in the lake, it was perfect! The house is super clean and the extremely comfortable beds made for peaceful evenings. Our host was very tuned in to make our stay most pleasant. Sublime VRBO.
