This beautiful Gulf view condo lies on the second floor and provides wonderful ocean views. This condo is painted in beige with pastel accents around the place with green carpet. The living room and dining room area are a big open space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The living room features a beige sofabed, a loveseat, and a recliner chair. The furniture is white rattan with beach pictures hanging on the walls. The bedrooms are painted in white with brown accents. Guests can enjoy the use of three TVs, a VCR, a DVD player, and a CD stereo system. The balcony is very spacious and has a wonderful view of the Gulf.

Relaxing and great access to beach

We absolutely love the Islander. We have frequently stayed in 3BR units, but this time there were just 4 of us so we stayed in this condo. It might have the most updated kitchen or furnishings, but we could not care less. It was very clean, plenty of space, a million dollar view, and you can’t get closer to the beach. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had all the cooking supplies needed. We will definitely return!

Clean condo

So close to pool and beach. The unit needs a bit of a tlc. Carpeting and couch need cleaning or replaced as well as kitchen floor. But, it's a safe place and very quiet

Great place for family vacation!!

This condo was clean and well stocked for our families fall break stay. The mattress were in pretty bad shape but they did come in to replace the master which has a king size bed and not a queen that I thought was in there. They didn’t notify anyone they were coming to change the bed and just threw the sheets on the bed for us to remake the bed. The new bed was a VERY firm which I like but not to everyone’s taste. The twin mattress need to be replaced as well. The condo is right about the pool and the pool access so you hear everything and anything you say on the balcony can be heard by others. None of these things were a deal breaker. The condo was clean and spacious for our family. Enough room in the kitchen to cook and plenty of kitchen equipment. The view was amazing and I would definitely stay at these condos again.

Expensive for what you get

Sliding door barely opens, blinds on sliding door are awful and making sleeping on the pull out couch extremely difficult since so many are missing/broken. Beds are rock hard. Extremely pricey for a condo that needs a lot of updates.

Perfect Beach View

The room is located above the pool with a beautiful view of the pool and beach. The room was very clean. Reserving beach chairs and umbrella was a bit chaotic. Small repairs are needed: Paint peeling from bathroom cabinets, towel rods were moved but left the anchors and unpatched holes behind, etc. And the master bed was very uncomfortable. We won't return during June/July again because of the June Grass in the gulf waters. But a nice room for a small family.

Overall great value

We loved the location and views from the condo. We had a wonderful time and the employees of the condo were extremely nice and accommodating. The only downside were some nit-picky things that need to be addressed. The master bedroom toilet handle was very loose. The right hand sink in that same bathroom had no water pressure. The towel holder in the second bath was practically hanging by a thread and fell the first time we removed a towel. The double sliding door to the balcony was hard to open and it wouldn’t lock. Again, it was still a great value because those minor issues were no match for the view and convenience of the beach. Great stay!

July 4th week 2022

The room is not privately owned, so it was a bit bare as far as extras like games, movies, etc. It had a hotel feel but was very clean! You are right above the pool which we thought would be a disruption but it wasn’t. No one stared or bothered us. I can see that being great for families with older kids that you can watch from there. Tons of room and the washer/dryer was nice to have. Having beach chairs and umbrella provided was fantastic. We only had to carry our bag and cooler down there. The office staff was VERY nice. Beach was not crowded at all either. We would stay here again!

Quick stay

The view is amazing! Very spacious condo! Needs some updating (sheet rock repair, paint, minor repairs). The AC doesn’t get real cool. Reported to office they tried to get someone to look at it before we checked out but couldn’t. They did offer to bring fans to room but we had an emergency at home and had to leave early.

Great place to stay

I love how easy it is to go to beach and the view is amazing. Smart TV was great. Only thing I disliked was the smell, they said no smoking allowed but it smelled a little like someone had smoked in there before mixed with humidity.

Awesome Stay, great view

If your looking for fancy this isn’t your place, but very homie and comfortable. Awesome views, close access to anything you need. Staff was friendly! We had an awesome time on the beach, set up provided every morning. Will definitely be back.

Family vacay 2022

I have stayed in many condos at The Islander. None that I could remember sweat like the floors in this one. We kept the glass door closed. The master bed mattress needs to be replaced. Just needs an all over update. For the price it was great. We have never really had any problems with the condos we have stayed in. We are returning in August to a 3 bedroom. Also the blinds need to be replaced. Everything else was great.

Great view but in need of serious updates.

Loved the view of the beach and quick and easy access to the beach. The stay, however was a bit disappointing. There were several issues that were taken care of. Only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom with 4 adults was less then stellar. I'll just say that the room needs some fixes/updates.

I had originally booked a different building on the beach with Vacasa but it had to have some repairs done and it wasn’t available. So they found another location on the beach at the last minute. The staff is great and very accommodating and they called a few times to make sure all was okay. The unit was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Gulf. Nice large balcony with tables and seating. I have no complaints about the unit. I would have liked to know ahead of time that I need to bring additional trash bags, they provide two. There wasn’t any laundry detergent, coffee filters or salt and pepper. They provided two dish washer pods and two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. So if you plan on cooking and depending on how many people there are you will need more. Once I get to my vacation I don’t want to have to go out and shop so it would have been nice to know then I could have brought them from home. Other than this the unit was comfortable the air conditioning worked great and they have cable televisions in each bedroom and living room. I enjoy Okaloosa Isalnd and would definitely stay here again.
