This amazing NEWER home (2020) has all new furnishings. Within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants, it boasts of outdoor living space with full deck and views of Kalamazoo Lake just across Lake Street. “Under the deck is custom-block patio with an under-deck roof”, No leaks during any rainstorm-- plus a TV with SONOS, two speakers to serve patio, natural-gas fire pit and Weber propane grill. Interior is all natural maple flooring, top quality cabinets with quartz tops, Gourmet kitchen with Thermador appliances. All bathrooms have ceramic floors and showers. The Carriage house (above garage area attached to house by deck) has living area, separate bedroom, bath, mini kitchen with microwave and mini refrigerator. There is also a sleeper bed in second-story loft and in carriage house. Everything in this home is quality custom craftsmanship, with nothing held back. All TV’s in home equipped with SONOS. There is no comparison to it in the area.

Beautiful property with great access!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect for easy walking access to downtown. The fire pit was easy to use and provided a great ambiance each evening.

Perfect for our wedding weekend

The well-lit, classy, clean aesthetic of this house was perfect for getting ready for our wedding. Our family and friends had plenty of space to get ready and the short walk to down town made it an easy home base. Details like having copious kitchen utensils, garage space for storage, and lots of bathrooms with large counters. The house was super clean and the patio space was a gorgeous plus! Amazing home

This was a perfect house for our group! Bright, clean, spacious, and beautiful. It had everything we needed. Love the outdoor space as well. It’s a short walk into town so no worries about driving/parking. Communication with host was quick and helpful. I recommend this home and I would stay here again.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! The house was in the perfect location for a quick walk to downtown Saugatuck for a coffee in the morning, lunch or dinner. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the beach which was beautiful. Douglas is just a quick walk as well! The layout of the home was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The living spaces were very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing and the outdoor space was perfect for evening meals outside. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay in Saugatuck

This property is just as described and as you see in photographs. It is comfortable, clean, amazing location, and comes with an abundance of towels! We had a fantastic time and Tom went above and beyond, even helping me with a delivery that was delayed in transit. We hope to be back!

Beautiful property

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Great location to walk to town and close to Oval Beach. The home is very well decorated with everything you need to be comfortable. Tom responded quickly to our questions. We already booked again for next year! There were 13 of us, ages 1-67. Everyone loved it!

Great Experience

The house is great for a bigger group and is exactly as presented in the photos -- new, clean, well laid out. The kitchen is pretty decently stocked with cookware, glassware and utensils. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor spaces are very nice, easy to access and well designed. There is parking for 5 cars which was really nice. We will definitely stay here again. There was one small confusion on the check-out time. Our VRBO agreement was for 11:00 check-out but the notes left on the counter when we arrived stated 10:00. The cleaning crew showed up around 10:35 a bit stressed that they were late and needed the house. I showed them our VRBO terms and they started cleaning the upstairs which was already vacated, so not a big deal ultimately. Communication from ownership was otherwise clear, timely and helpful.

My family enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. Cleanliness of the house was exceptional. It was a perfect location for walking into downtown Saugatuck. We all enjoyed the outside patio with plenty of seating for everyone. Overall, the house met all our needs and expectations.

Bachelorette party

We had a blast! Tom was amazing every step of the way. I had a lot of questions prior to our stay and he was very attentive and responsive. The house is beautiful and in such a great locations! The beds were very comfortable and we loved spending time around the fire pit! Thank you so much. We are all talking about the next time we could come back and staying at your place. High School Girlfriend weekend

The home was amazing-every last detail!! Also this property is in a perfect location-parked cars and didn’t touch them again until the drive home! We had such a wonderful time here enjoying it with lifetime friends. Tom was great to work with and so accessible and responsive too! We come to Saugatuck at least 1x / year and I would love to come back and stay here again.

Lovely Home - So much space!

We had 9 adults stay for a wedding and it was truly the perfect home. Everyone had their own space and then some. Tom was great in communication. House is very close to downtown Saugatuck, as well as downtown Douglas and Lake Michigan. We would highly recommend!

Bachelorette party heaven!

We rented this house to celebrate my bachelorette party and it was perfect! There was plenty of space for 12 people and amazingly, the kitchen never felt crowded. All the furniture was comfortable, the outdoor spaces were lovely, and the fire pit was a breeze to use! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space

Amazing home for a big family!

What a home!

There are times you check out a property online and then experience something much less after you arrive… that was absolutely not the case with this home. It was outstanding in every way! Kudos to everyone involved starting with the Property manager. This home lives up to its billing. Our family of 14 spent the week in downtown Saugatuck… about a 10 minute walk from this home. Boating , restaurants and shopping were all convenient. This was a “Wow” for us.

Very Good

Great property. We had a great time. Only problem was last morning when fire alarm went off for no reason. It was on at least a couple hours waking up some of our family. Fire dept. came & they could not turn it off. The only appliance on when it started was coffee pot so have no idea what the problem was. Other than that all was good.

Fantastic house for a large group close to downtown

The house was perfect for our large group (eight adults + eight kids). There are lots of beds (and sofabeds and sofas) for everyone to sleep on. The home appears to be newly built. The grill and the fire table were nice amenities, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. Proximity to downtown Saugatuck is perfect - just a 5-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Check-in and check-out were easy. We loved using the Sonos speakers out the patio. Overall this is a beautiful home in a great location for a large group looking to enjoy Saugatuck.

Family get together

Our family, 7 adults and 4 children ages 2 years to 2 months, had a fantastic stay. The house is large with plenty of room to gather, as well as space to retreat for rest. The house is in a quiet spot but just a few blocks to restaurants and bars in Saugatuck. The house was very clean and outfitted well. I would happily book again. Thank you!

I am a general building contractor, and designed/built this home. I raise meat and layer chickens on my 25 acre farm in Bertrand Township, MI. I also enjoy cycling.

I purchased this property due to its spectacular location, and then designed/built this home. Also because it's a very special and unique community with lots of history. I enjoy cycling from Saugatuck to Holland on the Bee-Line Trail when I stay in town.

Location, and comfortable living space. Easy walk (0.3 mile) to restaurants and shops on Butler St in town.
Short drive to Beach and downtown Douglas. Fennville, South Haven, and Holland all within a 25 minute car ride.
