Parker Lakeside Cottage Steps to Pristine Sandy Beach!

Booking guest must present matching valid photo state issued identification at time of check in. All vehicle information, make, model, color, license plate and state must be sent prior to booking request being accepted. Parker Lakeside Cottage is a unique stand alone cottage tucked away in the channel on Paugus Bay, walking distance to Weirs Beach and the Naswa Beach Bar! The cottage is the largest unit you can rent in the mostly owner-occupied association and is the end unit! Parker Cottage has been beautifully updated with knotted pine in the completely remodeled bathroom, brand new environmentally friendly floors, fresh interior paint, ship lap back splash in the kitchen and completely redecorated! The master bedroom and living room overlook the lake which is just steps from the cottage. Enjoy your own private section of beach with picnic table, and barbecue. Two assigned parking spaces just steps in front of the cottage. Limit is four adults, maximum. Children are welcome as well.

Guests can bring kayaks, paddleboards or canoe and launch those off to the left of the dock in back of the cottage. Please store under cottage. No boat docks available for renting and guests are not allowed to beach jet sea doos. Many guests have been enjoying daily rental of pontoon boats from local marinas.

Guests will need to bring their sheets, blankets, pillow cases, bath and beach towels and blankets if blankets are desired. Guests will be charged extra if pillowcases and sheets are not used. We no longer provide bedspreads, pillow shams, pillowcases or sheets. We provide dish towels, hand towels and pillows.

Note: There is exterior video surveillance of the beach area from a neighboring cottage, No. 10. Starting August of 2024 there will be exterior only video surveillance of the front of Parker Cottage towards the parking area.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. The pictures are accurate. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt.I would stay here again.

Great location

This is such a nice place to stay. The location is the best and it was extremely clean and bright. We are planning on booking again and would certainly recommend to anyone.

Lake Winnipesaukee

The cottage is in a great location with easy access to a beach that is excellent for children. All of the pier amenities, restaurants and large beach (Weirs Beach) are a short walk. The location provided a great central spot to explore other attractions within a short driving distance. We would stay here again when visiting Lake Winnipesaukee.

Our stay was quite lovely! The beach was clean as was the cottage. Diane was very accommodating and even bought some spices for us prior to our arrival. The cottage was surprisingly quiet although it’s proximity is close to the drive-in, public beach and restaurants. We will definitely book another stay!

Race weekend

Cabin was nice and clean but needs updating. Bunk beds in one room are really not good for adults. Price was high for what you get.

Thank you Bill for the review. The listing also has the futon and the pull out which is inside the sofa both are both full size and intended for adults. The bunk beds are intended for children.

Stay in Laconia

View of the lake was great. We were there during a heat wave and it was very hard to stay cool with just one a/c - most of our party slept in the living room to try to be near the air conditioner. Access to the beach was challenging as the closest set of stairs were washed out and blocked off for safety reasons. We moved the charcoal grill from the beach to the front of the house due to the stair/access issue and this caused an issue for neighbors apparently.

I confirmed that Lisa understood all the rules prior to her stay including the two designated parking spots. Also Lisa booked with 4 guests for what was a girls trip to attend a concert. Lisa arrived with three vehicles which I received the first complaint from the condo association board. I asked Lisa about this and she said her boyfriend was also staying until Tuesday, (she checked in on Sunday) her boyfriend has a full size pick up truck. I got her boyfriend a third parking spot. Then I got another complaint there was a fourth vehicle again parked in a non-designated spot in the parking lot and that the grill had been moved to the front of the cottage without permission first. I had to ask Lisa to remove the fourth vehicle and return the grill to the sand. These issues could have easily been resolved if Lisa had reached out to me ahead of time. Moving the grill did create a safety concern as everything is very dry from the lack of rain. Yes there was a storm and the gravel under the set of stairs going to the beach is washed out and that was roped off and there is another set of stairs further down the path maybe 25 feet or so. The stairs are getting repaired by the condo association shortly. For the issue on the A/C there is an in the wall unit and also numerous fans to cool the cottage. There is a futon and a pull out sofa in the living area. The A/C does work and no other guests have complained about the A/C.

Charmer on the Channel

My husband and kids (14 & 16) stayed in this cute cottage on the channel from 8/7-8/14. You could tell the owner has spent time making it welcoming and user friendly for guests. It’s “quaint”. If you’re looking for a sprawling property with a gourmet kitchen, this is not the place for you. But if you plan to spend most of your visit outside and want to be centrally located, and literally ON THE LAKE, this place is perfect. Kitchen is small (2 burner stove, microwave, no oven), but was nicely appointed, and had a full sized dining table. Main living area was spacious and comfortable with a large window with a great view (and an A/C unit which proved useful the last couple of days). Bathroom is tiny, but in very good condition (great water pressure too!). Beds (queen and twin bunk) were comfortable (surprisingly, so was the futon in the living room!). You have to bring your own linens and towels which can take up a lot of car space, but it’s fine, and not that uncommon. The entire property/complex is well maintained. As for the private beach area, it was lovely. We were concerned it would be noisy on the channel, but it’s a “no wake” zone, so we saw a lot of boats but weren’t bothered by them at all. Clean sandy beach, picnic table with large umbrella, more than enough plastic Adirondack chairs (perfect for putting in the water 😊), beach toys should you need them, plenty of flotation devices. Diane was very responsive to all of my inquiries both before and during our visit. In short, this “Charmer on the Channel” was perfect for our family of 4 during our week at the lake. We would absolutely return.

Lovely lake front cottage

This cozy lakeside cottage was perfect for our family. It was very clean and nice decorations and furniture. Swimming area right out back and location was perfect for our vacation.
