Welcome to Saltans of Swing by Brunswick Vacation Rentals, a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Holden Beach home for up to 8 guests, just across the street from the ocean. Enjoy the best of both sides of the island with beautiful ocean views in one direction and marsh and Intracoastal Waterway views in the other. A reverse floor plan, open-concept living area, and inviting front and back porches make it easy to gather, unwind, and soak in the coastal scenery.

"Saltans of Swing" offers you the best of both worlds. Enjoy amazing views of the marsh and Intracoastal waterway on one side and the ocean on the other!



This updated 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is located just across the street from the ocean and offers a fresh, thoughtfully designed interior for your Holden Beach getaway. With an owner in the furniture industry, special attention was given to the home’s complete interior remodel, including the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, appliances, furnishings, décor, and paint. The result is a comfortable and inviting space where your family can relax and reconnect after a day at the beach.



Saltans of Swing has a reverse floor plan allowing you to take advantage of endless views in the open concept great room and kitchen located on the second floor. The fully stocked new kitchen has full windows with incredible views, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, designer lighting, brand new soft close cabinets and has plenty of seating at the dining table for those family style meals. The master bedroom and bathroom is conveniently located on the second floor with the living room and kitchen. One of the nicest amenities you will find are the front and back porches letting you enjoy the marsh AND ocean views. Downstairs you will find three more bedrooms, two full bathrooms, the laundry room, and a small den which is great for a kids entertainment area. The entertainment area is stocked with board games, videos and TV. Two of the guest bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom and also have direct access to porches to watch the wildlife along the Intracoastal waterway. The third bedroom on this level has it`s own private bathroom. Under the home you will find a private outdoor shower, plenty of covered and uncovered parking, a picnic table, and a large storage unit for beach toys, bikes, surf fishing poles, etc...



Besides having a fully stocked kitchen, Saltans of Swing also offers guests a Weber grill, beach chairs, an umbrella, 2 adult bikes and a couple bikes for the kids to explore the island, beach toys, kites, and a buggy/cart to easily carry everything to the beach.



Unlike other beaches that can get over crowded, Holden Beach has limited public parking and is a quiet, wide, sandy beach that is only enjoyed by other renters and permanent residents. This beach and this house in particular offers spectacular views of the stars.



This is the perfect vacation rental for a large family, extended family, or a multifamily vacation. Please don`t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about this home!

Loved the view of the marsh! The kitchen was well stocked and the overall space was just right for our family and our goldendoodle. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful house

Communication and assistance from the property manager was fantastic and they made sure everything was top notch. The location to the beach was great and the views from the many balconies were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

This is my second time at this property and it was perfect again. Beautiful marsh views from the back of the house with plenty of deck space for sitting with friends. Large spaces to hang out with everyone with beautiful furnishings and lots of light. Close to beach access, on the quiet end of Holden. Great spot and I can’t wait to come back!

Had difficulty checking in when the front door lock didn’t work. Was unable to reach management group other via text which was slow. Ultimately had to use key in lock box and not door lock. One room had no fan blades on the fan and while they did provide some very basic house items they did not provide any linens, towels or shampoos in the bathrooms.

Great property that needs a just a bit of maintenance (bikes have flat tires, kitchen needs a deep clean, and neither can opener works). Management company was very responsive to issues and kept us informed.

We have stayed at Saltans of Swing before and for us, it works well. There were 5 adults and the size of the house for our group was great. We are the type that go to the beach all day and when we come to the house, we sit on the front or back decks. The decks on this house are terrific. The back deck needs a little love with tightening up a few boards but the views are great and you are guaranteed a breeze in one of the two directions. Sitting on the front deck on the upper level usually has great sea breezes and you can see and hear the ocean. Inside, the house needs a little touching up. Others should know that it is a 15 house walk to the public beach access which we did not mind, but just be aware. The goood news is the beach is relatively uncrowded because the house is on the stretch where there is only a beach front property and then one property on the marsh side so you never feel crowded. I was confused and little displeased with a few random fees being added on to the overall cost of the rental and the cost has gone up since we originally rented it five years ago. Again, the property works well for us. Brunswick does respond to questions in a timely manner and other than me really not understanding a couple of random fees, they communicate effectively during the week. Check in and check out is super easy. Overall a good property and Holden is a great beach.

Great location and views

The decks and location to the beach were amazing! We had a great time in the place. Our only issue was a late check in because the cleaning staff were still working. We understand they were understaffed so it was not a huge deal but if you want to get in early or at the time stated I would suggest communicating ahead of time and that day. Communication with the host was very easy. We had an issue with the dishwasher and he responded within minutes to my message and had someone out to fix it quickly. We would recommend this place and stay there again.

Holden Beach

Great location, easy walk to the beach and fantastic view of the Intracoastal out the back. Good beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards and wagon to transport everything. As stated in previous reviews regarding the property, the check in was past 4PM. Needs to be addressed. The property mgr . was responsive to texts. Not that you go to the beach to watch TV but the cable pkg was less than basic. For what you pay in season, it needs to be upgraded. Family had a great time.....

Ok but disappointed because I expected more based on the description

The description seemed accurate if we were in 2018 when the renovations were done. While acceptable in most regards, my overall impression is that the place needs a refresh or the promoted description needs updating to give the shopper a true picture and not a dated one. Two things really stood out and both were important for a vacationer who planned the gathering to be primarily at the rented location and they both went to the basics of such a stay and involved food preparation. The non-stick skillets were scratched and in my opinion unusable and even unsafe. I had to go to my residence and get skillets. The other was even worse and was the grill. It was grungy and had to have been that way for a long time. It needs replacement. Surely some previous guest must have reported this. We did not cook the steaks we bought and instead had to go out and spend close to $500 for a steak dinner at a restaurant. I spent over $2000 for 4 days and I surely expected more. I will not do this again.

Hey Bob. I’ve very sorry to hear that. If you had let us know we could have brought you new skillets and a new grill. Now that we know we will be replacing those immediately. A simple text, call, or email could have saved you from a $500 steak dinner at a restaurant. Please take the opportunity in the future to relay things like this to your management company and give them an opportunity to help opposed to just writing a bad review at the end of your stay. I’m sorry these items were enough for a 3 star review. I hope everything else was satisfactory and you had a nice vacation / enjoyed the beach and the weather.

The property was great. It is close to a beach access, and the beach was never over-crowded. The host was incredibly kind and responsive when a couple of issues arose. The property does allow pets, which we did not bring, and there was pet fur still on carpets and furniture that ended up on our clothes and bags.Overall, this has been one of the best properties we have stayed at. While there are a few things that could be improved, we had a great stay, appreciated the responsiveness of the host, and would stay at this property or another with the same host again!

Perfect location for the beach and the marsh

Really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and see the sunset over the marsh. Everything as clean, the check in/out process was simple. Nothing bad to stay, hope we can come again next year!

Relaxing weekend

The weather in late May can be a toss-up in NC, so when we picked our rental we wanted somewhere we might not mind getting stuck if it was rainy or chilly. Saltans of swing was perfect for that! The view from the living room of the ocean on your left and the marsh on your right was amazing. Our dog also had a great time hanging out on the porches and watching the birds. Beach access only about 3 minute walk from the house too.

Great place to get away!

Great place to go with your family! The house was a little further from the beach access than I was expecting but it was a flat walk out to the beach- easy to use our stroller and the beach wagon that was provided. The house was great- beautifully decorated and made us feel like we were at a friends place. Thank you for letting us make memories in your home!

The location was great and the house was clean with all the amenities my family needed for a nice getaway. The owner was helpful with any questions I had upon arrival. Being able to bring our Pomeranian was a plus!

We had a wonderful stay at Holden Beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip. We loved all of the decks and the view of the marsh. Would definitely recommend a stay here when you go to Holden!

Nice place!

Stayed with my family this past week (8 adults and 2 large dogs). House was nice, plenty big, and not too much of a walk to the public beach access. We were able to haul quite a bit of beach gear down and back every day without issue! Only issue was a dirty comforter that we just chose to not to use for the week. When I informed the owner at check out so it got cleaned for the next guest he apologized profusely and informed me that had we told him when we found it, he would have brought us a new clean one! Really really nice and friendly guy and a great house!

Family vacation

Our overall experience was great. Getting to experience the sound and marshlands as well as the ocean was the best part of our trip. We spent many hours on the porch. We love to cook and were a little disappointed with the lack of cookware and the quality of pans that were available.
