We had a wonderful experience with this property. My son stayed here for a long term rental and he found the place clean, comfortable, and very well located. Betty was accommodating and went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and part of the community while staying in Alameda. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this property to others.

I loved my stay here. Very comfortable and clean apartment in a quiet, yet centrally located, neighborhood. The host was easy to reach and welcoming. She had anticipated and provided for any possible need a guest might have. I hope to stay here again.

Ideally located on the Island of Alameda. Close to shops and dining. Easy walk to waterfront and sporting parks. Rental is clean and comfortable. We appreciated Betty our host stopping by to ensure we had all we needed and were comfortable with our rental.

Bay Area Stay

Enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed in Alameda many years visiting children and grand children in the Bay area. This was the best! Clean and spacious it was just a wonderful experience! Hope to go back next year!

Peaceful residential area

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were visiting family so we didn’t need to use all the facilities on offer but it is cosy and well equipped. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance and excellent shops. The bay is a short walk away with views of San Francisco. We highly recommend it.

Alameda Bungalow

The cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed during our stay. The owner was gracious, prompt answering all our questions and provided us with excellent information regarding the area. She even had a small cake waiting for us in the kitchen upon our arrival. Shopping was close by and we were within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. Perfect location and accommodations for us.

This is a very nice small apartment in a very quiet Alameda neighborhood. We had lived on the same street 2 blocks from this place over 50 years ago and little has changed.

Betty is a wonderful host! Great communication and warm welcome, this garden apartment in a lovely, safe, quiet neighborhood was perfect for my extended stay, easy approx 1 mile or less walks through nice neighborhoods to shopping center, beach , cafes, markets and anything you’d need. Very comfortable bed and pillows, well stocked little kitchen with seating for 2, bathroom with tub and room for your toiletries, living room with a nice work station facing a window with a garden view that I used for remote work . There is a wall heater that I could control and used a few of the cool mornings. Perfect size for a couple. This is one of 5 garden apartments that are tucked in off the street. No street noise at all. I arrived at night and the entrance was a bit difficult to find because of the foliage, some solar lights at the entrance might be helpful here. Just a few times during my weeks long stay I could hear light noise from the apartments adjacent to me but nothing disturbing. I’m glad I found this and I’ll likely return for my next visit.

Best holiday rest!!

This is very special. As you stay a week, you realize how all the things you have at home are here, and good quality too. It's beautiful, the seats outside are idyllic, I've used it just to reflect even for 5 minutes. This is a wonderful home and a very beautiful home as well, beautiful bath. kitchen, table at window... So restful for your holiday.
