Welcome to our remodeled SEAGRAPE Oceanfront home. This historic home is located in the quaint and quiet town of Indian Shores. It has such a peaceful atmosphere once you set foot on the property. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
This property has almost 70 feet of direct beach front which is a RARE find in this area. The direct views of the Beach and Gulf of Mexico are amazing while you enjoy it from your covered deck, heated private pool or wall to wall windows in the living room and reading area!! Pinellas county installed new sand dunes in Jan 2024 in order to protect our beaches so there is now a partially obstructed view of the ocean.
Our PRIVATE SEAGRAPE beach home offers 3 Bedrooms. This is a ground floor home with just a few steps!
Sleeping accommodations includes 3 bedrooms--
Master bedroom with private bathroom
Guest bedroom with 1/2 bath - king size bed
To access guest bedroom you will need to walk through kids room.
Kids bedroom - 2 full beds
There are 2 1/2 fully remodeled bathrooms .
The master bath offers a spacious walk-in shower/bench, large vanity and walk in closest.
The guest bathroom offers a standing shower (the washer and dryer are conveniently located in this bathroom). There is a private half bath within the guest bedroom.
We offer linens (8 bath/hand/wash), hair dryer, 8 beach towels and travel size soaps/shampoo for our guests to enjoy!

The remodeled spacious kitchen offers all the modern amenities including a dining area for 6. There is also outside dining under the covered porch that seats 6.
There is also very spacious family room plus an reading area with wall to wall windows to enjoy the beautiful pool, beach and ocean views!
This home provides ample private parking for 2 cars/SUVs maximum, 4 beach chairs and BBQ outdoor grill with utensils.
You can easily walk to walk to 5 or 6 fantastic restaurants such as Dog and Parrot, Caddy's, Villa Gallace just to name a few.
The base occupancy is 6 adults and there are extra guests fees ($60 per guest/day) for occupancy over 6 with a maximum of 8 guests (includes adults and kids of all ages). At the time of booking, you will need to provide first name and age of all guests staying at the property. We do not allow any exceptions to our occupancy limits.
Only registered guests are allowed on property. No exceptions. No day guests.
This property can accommodate a maximum of 2 cars. Video Surveillance is on the exterior of the property for your safety. Please read house rules for additional policies.

Perfect vacation property!

We just spent 10 days at this rental home with another couple and highly recommend. Everything we needed was included with the rental so just add groceries and perfect! We loved the house, the pool and the location right on the beach and a quick ride to many wonderful restaurants.

Wonderful Home

This is such a wonderful home to rent! It has the most amazing views and located by so many restaurants. Having the pool all to ourselves was so awesome and being able to be on the beach in seconds was just nothing short of amazing. I would 100% rent this house again!

Wonderful stay!

This home was perfect for our families. The common space is big and open, everyone had their own bedroom space. The pool area is fantastic! I reached out to Liz a few times and she was very quick to respond. There was plenty of amenities within walking distance as well. We were so sad to leave! I can’t wait to visit again!

Mother’s Day Getaway

I treated my mother and step-mother to a short 4 night stay for Mother’s Day. The house is exactly as described and in a perfect location. It was so quiet we felt like we were on our own private island, but very close to shops and several excellent restaurants . Liz was amazing and very quick to respond. She gratuitously allow us to check in a little early since our flight landed very early in Tampa.

Perfect for a Girls' Trip

We are a group of 5 former college roommates. We are still raving about this FANTASTIC home! The private pool right along the beach is amazing. The views from the dining area and living room are stunning at any time of day. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. As others have said, there is no privacy in the back 2 bedrooms, but since we wanted to be all together, it was perfect for us! The owners have done an excellent remodel and Liz quickly responds to any questions during your stay.

Annual Girls Trip

7 of us 40 somethings rented this adorable beach house for our annual girls trip. It couldn't have been a more perfect place. House was very clean, had everything you could need, and was directly on the beach. We enjoyed gorgeous views from the sofas with our morning coffee and from the covered side patio during the afternoon rainshower. Sliding door was very sticky and hard to open, but we just used other doors. Easy check in and checkout process, and great communication from host. We all mentioned several times that we could easily come back here every year. Book this beach house!!

The home Is great as far as location to the beach...king bed very comfortable the lay out of this home is a little odd.....cut up....you had to go thru one bedroom to get to the other bedroom. When we got there late that night there was no house numbers that we could find and had a difficult time getting into the house because there was no lights on outside. Seagrapes: Passport to Paradise

“Serene, Exquisite, Picturesque and Enchanting” Just some of the words used to describe this breathtaking beachfront property. From the wide open spaces filled with natural sunlight from the gulf waters cascading, to the crystalline pool beckoning to its guests; this was a weekend to forever remember staying at this home. When you first arrive and set foot on the wooden deck entrance it feels almost as if casting off on a voyage to paradise. You open the front door to see the windows framing the most beautiful view of the ocean. Turn around and you have an amazing kitchen equipped with every amenity for you to create the perfect meal for your family. Upon further inspection of the property you find large comfortable beds, adequate bathrooms and an outdoor grilling area complete with a state of the art grill for a night of flame broiled cuisine. Whether you are a poolside lounger or a sea going swimmer the view this home offers is unbeatable in today’s gulf beach rentals. It would be well worth your consideration to stay at Seagrapes for your next family vacation. Regret will definitely be on your minds when you find time has to end and you have to return to reality. Every minute will be forever etched in your memory by crashing waves and tranquil soundscapes of the beauty that is this area.

Very nice accommodations but pool is only heated Dec and Jan.

If I were only rating the house, beach access and location, this would be a five start rating. However, beware that the pool is heated only during December and January. We used the VRBO mobile app to search out and reserve the property and our key criteria was a heated pool. The mobile listing referenced a heated pool at least three times but did not show any restrictions on when the pool would actually be heated. When we contacted the owner upon arrival about turning on the heater, we were told the heater wouldn't be turned on until December. The owner stated this was disclosed in the listing and wasn't willing to have the heater turned on for our stay even though the listing in the mobile app made no mention of the heater use restrictions. After contacting VRBO, the service rep verified the heater restriction did not appear in the mobile app but was in their web page. When we asked for a discount on the rental rate, neither the owner nor VRBO were willing to do this or take any responsibility for the listing error or the unavailability of a heated pool. So, overall, I think you'll be very happy with this rental as long as you're aware that pool is unheated for ten months of the year..

2 weeks here in Feb with 2 kids under 2

We took our 2 kids, both 2 and under here and spent 2 weeks in early Feb. We saw weather from low 50's to mid 70's. The house is in a great location. Very few actual single family homes and we felt lucky to be in one of them, steps to the beach. You can see the ocean from all the ocean facing rooms. The home was equipped with everything we needed and it all worked perfectly. Of course being there as long as we were, we made a few Target runs to stock up on food and supplies etc. Lots of cupboards and places to put everything, same with closets for your stuff. Great place to watch the sunset. Before coming I was worried about the pool being heated enough, but it felt great and we used it 4 or 5 times a day. A super nice guy named Eric cleans the pool, and he was very friendly and respectful of our space while doing his quick pool work. One of the days it was in the 50's my kid wanted to go on the pool so bad that we did, and it felt much better in the pool than outside. We had a lot of fun walking the beach and finding shells and then coming back and taking a dip in the pool. It made the pool feel like a hot tub after the ocean temp. The master bedroom faces the water and its tucked to its own side of the house. The other two bedrooms are in the back of the house. We used a great company called Our Little Suitcase that rents baby gear, and I can't say thanks enough to them for being as accommodating to our needs and times arriving and leaving. One of our kids slept in the back bedroom and a couple nights on the weekends (also happened to be superbowl weekend) it got loud with traffic and people. We use sound machines and it was able to drown out most of the noise. The house heated and cooled very quickly. When it was so chilly, we took our kids to the Clearwater Aquarium and it was awesome. Another day we went downtown to the Tampa one, but wasn't as worth it. Definitely do the Clearwater one if you only do one and want to save a lot of time. House felt very safe and secure at all times. Was great using a keypad vs. a key, so that you can go out and not worry about it. Would stay again.

Excellent Location

The location is unbeatable. RIGHT on the beach and a private pool. Ultimately, that’s most important. The pool is perfect and the outdoor area is fantastic. We very much enjoyed our stay. The interior could use some work. Not in bad shape by any means. Kitchen is nice however the appliances weren’t great. Very Cheap. The dishwasher had trouble cleaning off the dishes. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice as well. The water pressure in the showers was sub par. I give it a 4.5!

Amazing, beautiful property

Seagrape is truly amazing. There’s a wonderful pool in back, and a beautiful beach is right beyond it. The sunsets alone are worth a visit — each night was more brilliant than the day before. Also for culinary types, the selection of tools and utensils in the kitchen is great (not often the case with rentals!). We look forward to coming back!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love Indian Shores! It is a quiet and quaint city without all of the congestion of the bigger beach areas. Indian Shores is a part of the barrier island located 20 minutes from Tampa. The origin of the Indian Shores/Indian Rocks name is unknown but the pioneer settler Harvey K. Hendrick, who arrived in this area in 1890 remarked, "I liked the place, I thought it was the most beautiful place on God's green footstool.

We just purchased Seagrape in January 2020 because we wanted a PRIVATE get away for our family and friends. There are 2 private single family homes on this property:

19808 is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath.
19806 is a 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath with a private pool.

We do rent both properties together for large family gatherings up to 18 guests including adults and kids.

Seagrape is considered a historic home in Indian Shores. It was featured in a film, In the Line of Duty. It has such a peaceful atmosphere once you set foot on the property. This is the first time this property has been put on the vacation rental market. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We love the privacy of this location. No high rises on either side of our property-- only private residents. The heated pool and gazebo are added amenities for enjoying time with family and friends. You can not find a private beach house in Indian Shores on the rental market of VRBO with 3 Bedrooms/2 bath and a heated pool .... with close to 70 ft of Beach front property all to yourself!
