This house is very comfortable for 3 couples. The view of Lake Thunderbird is awesome. We really enjoyed swimming from the dock and even used a kayak. Christie was a great, attentive host. Thanks!
Great property to enjoy a family vacation. The only concern was the Wi-Fi was very slow, making it difficult to stream. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody that wants to have a very enjoyable, family vacation!
We absolutely loved our stay. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The house is extremely clean and very well stocked with everything you need. I was traveling with three older people and they had no trouble navigating Into or out of the house, which was welcome because we have stayed in places with stairs that make it quite difficult for older folks. We would definitely recommend this to home to all.
I stayed here with my two adult siblings. The house was pretty, good sized rooms and great deck. With that being said, be aware there are several cameras on the outside of the house. I was made aware of the cameras in the description. It was ok except that I feel we were always being watched.
Iâve stayed at several VRBOs in the past so I was confused when the refrigerator was 1/3 full of perishable food. Same with the cabinets. For example, bread on the counter. Again, not a big deal, just not what I expected.
The owner was quick to respond to my questions except after we left. My sister left two charging cords. I emailed the owner twice and realtor once but no response.
The lake is beautiful. There are state parks in the area but otherwise not a lot to do. Fishing and boating are the main attractions. Overall, it was worth the money.
But I am disappointed with the lack of response after we left.
We had a group of three generations. There was ample space for us. The deck was wonderful! The photos on the listing were pretty accurate. I would say the house was furnished for function, not fashion. The photos showed a room with twin beds, there was actually a queen bed in the room. This could be an issue for some groups. The listing stated there was a hair dryer, there wasnât. While there was no grill listed as an amenity, it is wise to note there is no grill on the property. Five days after check out, I received an email from the property damage insurers stating my claim had been assigned a claim number. I did not submit a claim as at the time, I was unaware our party had caused any damages. I reached out to the owner by VRBO inbox for more information. While my messages were answered promptly before and during our stay, this went unanswered. I then called Crystal, the property manager and asked if a claim had been made. She said âYesâ we had burned the dining table. I knew this was not possible as we had put nothing hot on the table. Our third day was the first time we had used the table to eat. I did notice damage when setting the table, but didnât think one of us had caused the damage. The mark on the table top was noticeable but fit with the use seen on some of the other furniture. I will admit this conversation got a little âhot.â When I saw the grandkids later in the day, I asked if they knew anything about the table. My granddaughter said she spilled some nail polish remover but wiped it up. That made sense with the spot I saw, so I then knew we were responsible. I tried to call, leave a voicemail, text, and inbox message to ask for a callback to apologize and have my granddaughter explain what happened. We never received a call back. Fortunately, the insurance company has settled the claim so any future renters should have a new, or refinished, dining table. I donât expect Crystal to say we are welcome to return as she did after our stay at another property last year, but that is okay, as I would not be interested in returning anyway.
We own a home on Thunderbird Lake and have been going to the Village for almost 50 yearsâŠso we are huge CV fans. Needed extra sleeping space for a family gathering and this home was an excellent choice for that need. Everything about it was very nice
We had a great, relaxing stay. The house was comfortable, the deck was just what we needed to relax and the kayaks were a blast! I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in a beautiful spot!
House was spotless
Location breathtaking
Manager outstanding ..
And when I had trouble using the keypad ..which was totally operator error ..the maintenance man called and went above and beyond !!
Two thumbs up !!!
We truly enjoyed everything about this place! The home was the perfect size and location with all the necessary amenities. The kayaks provided an easy and enjoyable way to see the entire lake. The deck was so peaceful...we hardly stayed inside. Looking forward to staying here again! Thanks for everything!
I have been facing a tremendous amount of stress lately and decided to reach out to some lady friends to see if they wanted to go on a girls weekend. We wanted to stick closer to home so it one hour to two hour range was perfect for us. As we were bouncing around ideas, I came across this listing on VRBO. The views are spectacular! It sucked me right in and I immediately reserved it. The home is immaculately Clean and there are lots of supplies if you choose to cook. We purchased our own premade food and just microwaved. The deck has a wonderful table with seating for six and a cute little bistro set for two. There are additional chairs on the deck for extra seating. Instructions for use of interesting shower faucets made it easy to enjoy their incredible water pressure! Beds were super comfy, linens super clean,Couldnât have asked for a nicer stay. I also was able to park in a carport which was great because it rained a couple of nights. We were unable to use the fireplace per the owners but maybe during the winter months that is allowable. The light colored carpet made everything feel bigger. We did use a beach towel, provided by the owner, as a rug by the door wall because we did not want to track in anything on our feet. It was a spectacular and lovely weekend. Canât wait to go back.
It was beautiful and relaxing very clean and had everything we need just like we was at home. We all loved it and didnât want to leave. Next time we will book it for more days and that will be very soon.
This was a way wonderful way to unwind from the hectic city life. We were actually looking for property to move to Arkansas and fell in love with this area. We could have lived on the patio on whole time.
We have stayed here twice now. Location is great with a great view of the lake. Has everything you need. The beds are a little firm but I am used to a memory foam. The deck is wonderful although this weekend we had a problem with squirrels and them dropping nuts and debris on us.
