TX Swiss Alp Chalet w/Pool!!!

Swiss Alp Chalet is an updated mid century modern home with views of the rolling hills of the Swiss Alp community. Easy access to US Hwy 77 to get you where you need to go to explore the area. Located 6 miles north of Schulenburg and 10 miles south of La Grange. Three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, with living areas, our guests have plenty of room to gather with up to 10 people comfortably. During the warmer months guests can make a splash in the screened in back yard pool. Self check in.

Very nice place to stay and everything was really clean. The pool in the back is a nice place to sit in the heat with the shade and usually a nice breeze back there. Lots of stuff to use in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of space to hangout inside as well. Highly recommend for bridesmaids to stay as there is lots of mirrors and places to get ready

We enjoyed our girls' weekend. The house was clean and comfortable. The pool was relaxing. The host responded immediately to our questions.I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing get away.We found some fun things to do in Schulenburg, especially the Majek Winery and lunch at the Garden Co.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends. Enjoyed spending time just relaxing in and around the pool! Only downfall is the road noise being just off a busy highway.

Great Chalet!

Very nice convenient and enjoyable stay. There is everything you need and feel welcomed. We stayed for our son’s wedding just down the road so it was nice and close for our elderly.

Second time staying here, and it was great! Spacious home, convenient layout. Beds comfy, house was clean. Hostess very easy to get in touch with, and work with, checking in and out was a breeze. Weather was too cool to use the beautiful pool, so, I guess will have to schedule another trip. oh darn!!! Perfect for a girlfriend getaway

Perfect house/location!

Me and my sisters went here for a girls weekend to relax….boy did we relax and chill out in the pool! The house was very clean and the pool was awesome! We stayed in the pool all day Saturday!! DeLisa was very fast to respond to us! House was the perfect size to spread out in and had everything we needed! Can’t wait to go back and do this again! Thank you for sharing your place with us girls!!!

Lovely property. Everything was clean and easy process. Property has everything you would need. Highway is close, but only really noticeable during the day. Not a concern for us. We had a great stay and would not hesitate staying again. ❤️

Relaxing Family Time

Our family stayed at the Swiss Alp Chalet for a short weekend to attend a family wedding and the annual Schulenburg Sausagefest, and it was a great choice for our group. The home comfortably hosted our family of 6 and added a relaxing vibe to our busy trip. The countryside is beautiful. The home was clean, warm and welcoming. Plenty of bath towels and accessories was a great touch. And providing pool towels was an excellent touch! We just wish the weather would have been more corporative to have fully enjoyed the pool by all. Maybe next time!

So convenient, great location

Decided to do a 4 day antiquing trip...we usually just do three, so we were thrilled to find this jewel. The house is very comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean....Kitchen well appointed, had everything we needed...Beds comfy...Pool looked so inviting, but it was way too cold, maybe we will have warmer weather, in the fall. We are looking forward to booking it again in the near future. We felt very safe. Communication was perfect...check in and out was a breeze. There were tour guides, brochures, and flyers on area attractions, we will try to catch those next time.

I have rented several VRBOs. This is is one of the best to rent. The extra details at this house is amazing. Kitchen well supplied/ pool towels /makeup remover cloth/ hairspray/ hair dryers / curling iron. Wow really thoughtful of their guests. The motion lights along the hallway at night was great for night time returns to the house. The beds were comfy and cozy. The pool was refreshing and so enjoyable in the evening under the stars. The screens over the pool to keep bugs out was awesome. I highly recommend this home to rent. We went to Painted churches in the area. Check out the Schulenburg chamber of commerce to help with a tour or a map of how to get to them. Shiner is only 30 minutes from the house. Visit there it’s has great food and drinks.

Pretty much everything we needed. We were not aware of the closeness to the highway. At times the noise could be quite loud. Sound machines are in the bedrooms, but did not really eliminate the noise. Great location if you are using the venue next door.

Great House!

We came to Round Top to shop and rented this house for 2 nights. Was a great place to stay with a well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds! If you are using the hall next door to get married you should not hesitate and rent this house!!!
