Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’d like to address a few of the items mentioned: Regarding the photos not matching the home, we strive to keep our listings as accurate and up-to-date as possible. If an item in the home ever breaks or goes missing we always aim to replace it with the same item or one closely resembling it. The home is exactly the same as shown in the photos. The refrigerator in the home is brand new, purchased at the end of May, and the ice maker is fully functional. We’re sorry to hear there were any concerns with the ice maker; if you would have brought this to our attention during your stay we would have promptly sent our maintenance tech to the home to assist you. Thank you also for pointing out the lighting, this has since been addressed. The smart plug connecting the lights simply needed to be reset. In regard to the noise monitoring, outdoor noise sensors are commonly used in vacation rentals in the City of Indio to comply with city noise ordinances. They don’t record sound but measure decibel levels to help us alert guests before a violation occurs. These ordinances are enforced 24/7, and violations can result in fines that are passed on to guests, which we try to help prevent. We rarely if ever have guests complain about this, and sensors do not go off during the day unless the noise is unreasonably loud and can be heard from the street. As for the neighborhood, our Indio community is typically quiet and family-friendly, and we’ve never received feedback regarding homelessness. Nonetheless, we value your input and will continue monitoring guest experiences closely. Thank you again for your comments.
