Featuring a brand-new swim hot tub on the updated deck, this home has everything you could possibly want for a memorable lakeside getaway. The backyard has been transformed into a gathering place for fun in the sun! Whether it’s enjoying the swim hot tub or playing all the outdoor games with views of the water, or adding on an outdoor movie screen, the beautifully updated deck is the perfect spot to enjoy lake life. As the weather heats up, the misters make the deck a comfortable oasis! You will find yourself wanting to do all your dining outdoors with the gas grill conveniently available for those vacation meals. Head down to the private dock with sun deck for more fun in the sun options!
Take advantage of the kayaks and stand-up paddle board, along with the lily pad in the private cove. All are available for your use!

The open concept great room has vaulted ceilings with the grand wood fireplace as the center piece. 360-degree views bring the outdoors in, no matter where you look. This spacious floor plan features a large kitchen, dining and living area. Wake up and enjoy your coffee while watching deer roaming the grounds! The great room is a wonderful place to gather after a day on the lake. With cable television, blu-ray players, internet
access and plenty of games (corn hole, washers, board games), you and your family will have just as much fun inside as you do out on the water. The main house has two large bedrooms, and the property also has a separate guest house with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with a mini fridge for your convenience.

Time at the turquoise cove

We enjoyed the hot tub a lot. The bed and couch were a little soft, but everything else was wonderful. Loved the dock and kayaks!! Thanks for everything!! definatly be back!

Relaxing retreat for our family!

The property was beautiful and our entire family, including the dogs, loved it. TheBackyard was huge and the dogs loved running around. We spent a lot of our time fishing and sitting in the huge hot tub. My husband caught several huge catfish! The house was beautiful and well decorated. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. If your looking for a good restaurant "The Dock" was amazing and had fantastic seafood. Would highly recommend Turquoise Cove and will be back!

Nice weekend getaway.

The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood on the end of a channel on the lake. The lake level was low therefore the channel was dried up, but we visited in the winter so that wasn’t an issue with us. The house itself was stocked well and had plenty of room for guest inside and out on the deck. The heated pool was AMAZING and made it worth while. Only a few minor things to be fixed was the cleaning could have been better as there was dog hair all in the couches and the guest house is a little dated and could use a remodel with an added TV. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Best Weekend Getaway!

The kayaks, dock fishing, FIREPLACE, extra little furs house… it was all AMAZING! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a little getaway just outside the city limits!

We had a lovely time at the rental! The host was very responsive to questions & all advertised amenities were available. Beware bugs & spiders, but that’s to be expected by the lake.

Amazing stay w Amazing host!

Outstanding views of gorgeous lake from large windows entire back side of home. Multi level decking is the huge, looks brand new. Swim spa, lawn games on turf, amenities all excellent! We will be back again and again. Property manager offered the most communication we've ever experienced, anticipated any need, so friendly and immediately responsive.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay at this property. It was just the right size for me and my two children. The hot tub was a huge hit, as were the lily pad and lawn games. We loved that it is in a quiet part of the cove, surrounded by trees. We had a lot of privacy and felt like we were back in nature. The back area was fenced in so our dog could roam without concern. Communication with the property manager was easy, and I received very prompt responses to any questions. Only constructive comment is that the wifi was spotty/in-and-out, but that is minor and easily fixable. We hope to return!

Excellent property!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Wish it had been longer. Check in was a little problem in that we didn’t receive any emails with instructions until we called to inquire. But that was quickly resolved and the rest of our short stay was uneventful - other than an awe-inspiring solar eclipse. Thanks again for hosting us.

Amazing

This property was perfect! The house was spotless, the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The outside was clean and well-maintained. The use of the kayaks, paddleboard, hot tub, and turf toys were a blast and well worth it!! Fishing was spot on as well as a quiet area to swim and have family time. We will definitely be back! We didnt use the lil house on the property but we looked at it and it was very nice and well-maintained. Thank you!!

Fun Weekend

My brothers and sister in from Houma LA - my dad lives in Maybank and we all met here to spend some time with him. The place was perfect for all of us. We got to witness some pretty awesome nature, deer, birds, turtles, ducks. The firepit was a big hit - we all sat around it one night catching up on life.

Beautiful spacious home

This home was amazing! Although the water level was down, we were not able to enjoy swimming off the dock; however, kids still took our kayaks and Lilly pads next door. The house had more than enough room to accommodate us, and the host was extremely accommodating and responsive to our needs. Would 100 percent come back! The guest house was also the perfect addition for other adults to be secluded. We had a great time!!!

Short getaway

We took a long weekend to get away and relax. The house was comfortable and clean. Check in was easy. Only downfall that should be noted is the lake levels currently so far down that there is no water at the included dock. There is however a dock at the neighborhood boat ramp that can be used. Not as convenient but worked all the same.

Peaceful relaxing time

We had a great time and enjoyed the peace and quiet. House was basic and nice but we spent most of our time out on the wrap around porch or above the dock. Enjoyed our morning coffee with the sounds of a giant redhead woodpecker and other birds. Was very nice not to have mosquitos or flies which were so bad back home this summer. Rented a boat down the way and spent a full day on the lake. Dogs loved the fenced yard and boat ride and the property was perfect for our long family weekend away. Communication with the host was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Will be back.

Great Getaway

Rental process was seamless and communication was often practically instantaneous. The communal areas were bright, airy and plentiful. The kitchen was well appointed and if you’re bringing babies or toddlers, know there is no need to bring plates or spoons because there are plenty. The bathrooms could stand some updating. Batteries in remotes that appear to be the sole control of lighting and ceiling fans would be nice. An address before renting would have given us a little better idea of just how affected by the low water level we were looking at, though some in our group were able to play with the kayaks. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed discovering the cedar creek area, and we’re planning on making it a yearly get together!

Could use some touching up.

The overall home is cute and fun for a family. It does need to be deep cleaned including areas below sinks. The disposer is non working and does spit out residue. Our daughter arrived prior to everyone and wiped down all patio furniture, lighted candles to improve overall aroma and wiped down counter tops. The extra small house in the back could be so cute! A double or full bed with a little extras would make it perfect. The couch bed in this area really cannot be slept on. It could be so nice out there with just a few extra touches. I did not realize how close we were to the street drain which may be good for fishing but not necessarily swimming. We did have a good time with our family. These are ideas to make clients return over and over again.

Great family fun and fishing!

We have stayed at this property before and are so glad a chose to do so again! It’s been nearly a year since our last stay but I’m happy to see the place is still well cared for and they added a lily pad which my kids TOTALLY loved and we used daily! The beds are comfortable and the towels are extremely fluffy! The WiFi and cable was a good way for my kids to wind down in the evenings and there were toys for them to play with. My middle kiddo particularly loves the kayaks ( this house is actually the reason she got in one for the first time last year and got her own kayak for her birthday this year!) We have a dog this year and he loved the big yard and chewed on the walnuts lol! My kiddos caught tons of perch every evening and during the day went out with Dad on the bass boat on the lake and caught bass! We also went to town one day and checked out a few little shops and an awesome little local bookshop where my kiddos and I stocked up! There was fun for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked, we needed nothing! The owners were EXTREMELY easy to get ahold of when I had an issue ( an easy fix with a gfc plus plug ) and responded super quickly when I asked last minute for availability to spend a couple of extra days ( which thankfully there was ). I appreciate everything that has went into this house and the fun we’ve had there! Also the guest house is great, we just didn’t need it for this trip, but is a nice add on, especially for the price!

BUGS!! IF I COULD RATE IT ZERO STARS, I WOULD. I first noticed them in the kitchen sink and on the paper towels. Did t worry too much until i pulled back the shower curtain and found many more. My husband contacted the ownwer. He stated they haven't had any issues but would send someone to spray on Monday (this was Saturday evening). We agreed to stay as long as we didn't see anymore bugs in other locations... since there were no dressers, our luggage was on the floor, in particular our daughter's suitcase. After she any my husband dealt with multiple wasps & muddobbers in the loft/game area, she entered her room & discovered the same bugs in her suitcase and on the floor. I then went around checking every room. Sure enough, they were in the upstairs bathroom ( not in the shower) & around the downstairs toilet (same bathroom as the shower). That was enough for us. So there we were trying to find another place to stay and knowing we had to pack up and be out by 10 am in the morning. We had already been to the grocery store and only had a small cooler. The owner agreed to us leaving but "didnt know how much money we would be refunded, it was up to VRBO". Luckily we found another cabin, but couldn't check in until 4pm the next day. Fast forward to later in the week, we would be getting a little over half of our money back. THAT MEANS WE PAID 600 FOR 1 DAY (4PM-10AM) & received 800 refund for the remaining 4 days!! This is totally unacceptable! See pictures.

Thanksgiving week

We enjoyed our family Thanksgiving getaway at turquoise cove. The kitchen, dining and living room were perfect for keeping us all in one big group during the cooking process. This would be an excellent rental for the summer months.

Last minute family getaway

This place has everything you need to have a great time with your family! From games, outdoor activities, kitchen supplies, water toys, etc….its all taken care of. The water levels are very low but we knew that before booking and still had fun!
