Situated on 10 wooded acres this cozy three bedroom cabin is the perfect setting to find peace and quiet. Don’t let its location fool you as you are a quick trip to Harbor Springs and have great access to the beautiful places that Northern Michigan has to offer! Grab your favorite drink of choice and gather by the wood burning fireplace for great conversations or to catch up on a good book. This cabin is fully stocked to cook meals in and offers a large picnic table on the front porch which is an ideal setting for a cookout. Don’t feel like cooking? Take a 9 minute drive to Moose Jaw Junction (a local’s favorite!) for their Friday night fish fry, burgers, and more! Or… take a 12 min. drive to Cross Village for the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and dine at the famous Legs Inn. Bliss Polo Club is 4 minutes down the road from the cabin and is a perfect location for any polo enthusiast! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in solitude you have found your match!

Weekend getaway

My two oldest granddaughters, a boyfriend and myself stayed at the cabin. We visited Mackinac Island and Mackinaw city. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were clean, the bedrooms were roomy. We enjoyed our stay in this cabin which was close to the places that we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this cabin for your visit to the area.

Lovely stay in the North woods of Michigan

We loved our stay at this cabin in the woods. The cabin was so well equipped. It had everything we needed and more. There was excellent attention to detail at this property to make sure we could just show up, relax, and have fun!

Family vacation

We chose this cabin because we wanted to tour Mackinac Island as well as hike in nearby state parks. This cabin was an excellent choice due to its proximity to wilderness areas as well as trails located on the property plus it was under 20 minutes to the ferry at Mackinaw City. We also appreciated the fully stocked (with supplies and utensils) kitchen, gas grill and fire pit which allowed us to enjoy family time in the evenings. A beautiful, secluded and quiet location.

Nice Visit in Mackinac Area

Great location to explore Mackinac and Lake Michigan and a nice secluded spot for peace and quiet. Even saw a doe in the woods out back one morning!

Quick Family Getaway

We had a great time at this property. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great - about a 20 min ride to anything we wanted to do and when we were at home base it was so quiet and private - we loved it!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying here! It was a perfect spot located within a short distance of some cool places to visit. We love that it is in the privacy of the trees with its own walking trails as well. Our family enjoyed day trips balanced with board games, meals on the deck and backyard whiffle ball and horseshoes.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This property was the perfect spot for a mini vacay to mackinac Island! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy, and the jacuzzi in the upstairs bathroom was so awesome! The property the cabin is on is so beautiful and the property management response was on point! Highly recommended visiting in the fall, we are very happy with our stay and will be telling others about how awesome it was! Thank you so so much!

Wonderful place to get away from it all

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this rental cabin. It is off the beaten track, but close to attractions and restaurants. There is a nice upstairs bedroom suite with a small balcony and bathroom, and two bedrooms with a full bath downstairs. Internet is a bit spotty, but manageable. I loved the indigenous decor. Very comfortable for us for a weekday getaway.

The Hideaway was perfect for us

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Glad the fans were there, we couldn't turn the air conditioning down and it was hot outside and 77 degrees inside, so we had the windows open some of the time. We enjoyed not being around a ton of other people, being secluded and having a comfortable place to sleep at night. We got engaged on a Wednesday in front of the yellow door on the shed. The shed was adorable and perfect spot for our engagement!

Perfect location

This was a Fun Little Cabin that brought back memories of being a kid again. A swing on the porch with a picnic table for games. A croquet set. Paths that meandered through the woods. We spent a day at Mackinac Island. Another morning golfing at Hidden River GC. Harbor Springs was close and of course the tunnel of trees was a beautiful drive. Visited a winery and Legs Inn. We have suggested this property to our friends. 5 stars!

Wonder Cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin. It is nice and secluded but still offers a bunch of places to visit a short drive away. The cabin was clean and everything was well taken care of. I would highly recommend staying here.
