Tucked away in a rural setting on 10 wooded acres, this cozy three-bedroom cabin offers the perfect escape for those seeking peace, quiet, and a true Up North experience. Surrounded by nature and set back into the woods, it’s a tranquil retreat where you can unwind and recharge—yet you're still just a short drive from Harbor Springs and all the beautiful destinations Northern Michigan has to offer.

While the cabin does not include air conditioning, there are ceiling fans throughout, and the screened windows welcome in the fresh woodland breezes to keep things comfortable during the warmer months.

Grab your favorite drink and settle in by the wood-burning fireplace for great conversation or a quiet evening with a good book. The cabin is fully stocked for cooking and features a large picnic table on the front porch—an ideal spot for outdoor meals or evening cookouts under the trees.

Not in the mood to cook? Head 9 minutes down the road to Moose Jaw Junction, a local favorite known for its Friday night fish fry, burgers, and laid-back atmosphere. Or take a scenic 12-minute drive to Cross Village for stunning Lake Michigan views and a memorable meal at the iconic Legs Inn. Bliss Polo Club is just 4 minutes away, making this a great base for polo enthusiasts.

Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we return to the area. The cabin is clean, cozy and beautifully decorated, equipped with all you would need. Loved the private beautiful wooded area- it was great to sit on the porch with coffee in the morning and hear the roosters off in the distance. The gardens and short loop trail thru the woods was especially enchanting adding to our adventure. Thank you to the host for sharing your home and being so accommodating!

We had a wonderful time! Easy check-in and the host was easy to contact! It was secluded and we missed the driveway arriving had to backtrack because the house was tucked back into the trees a bit! But our stay was great!!!

Great place to stay

We had a great time staying here! It was a perfect spot located within a short distance of some cool places to visit. We love that it is in the privacy of the trees with its own walking trails as well. Our family enjoyed day trips balanced with board games, meals on the deck and backyard whiffle ball and horseshoes.

Wonder Cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin. It is nice and secluded but still offers a bunch of places to visit a short drive away. The cabin was clean and everything was well taken care of. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time at this property. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great - about a 20 min ride to anything we wanted to do and when we were at home base it was so quiet and private - we loved it!

Gorgeous Place to Getaway!

The cabin was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the surround sound speakers, beautiful woods, and indoor fireplace. Would recommend to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

We loved how secluded the property was, far from any neighbor. We could only hear distant roosters in the morning, no other sounds.The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is very nicely decorated. We loved the decor inside and outside.There is no AC in the house, but this is stated in the description, so we knew what we are getting. Some days it was getting pretty hot at night (we stayed in July).The bathroom upstairs has no shower, just the tub/jacuzzi (indicated in the description, but hard to notice).The room upstairs is really an attic, not full size room. It is pretty tight when getting to the bed on the left side!One thing that did bother us a lot is the mattress on the lower level. They have clearly seen their time and need to be replaced. Other than this, we enjoyed the place a lot and will stay again but maybe not in July (and if the mattresses are replaced).

Secluded Mackinac getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the property! The cabin was beautifully kept and had great amenities. It was a perfect location. 20 minutes from the Mackinac Island ferry but also an excellent way to escape each night from the island and rest in a quiet, secluded cabin. Highly recommended!!

While the home is advertised as being in a secluded, rural location, we understand that it ultimately didn’t feel like the right fit for you, and you chose not to continue your stay. Although we've never had complaints about the Wi-Fi, we do appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind. We're glad you were appreciative of the refund, especially since, per our cancellation policy, one was not owed. We offered it as a gesture of goodwill. That said, we were surprised to see a three-star review, particularly considering the clean condition of the home and the amenities you noted you enjoyed.
