We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. Communication with the owner was excellent.The house was clean and comfortable. The location was close to good dining and I enjoyed riding the bike trails south to Petoskey and north to Pellston I recommend this property.

Third stay here, great place, lots of extras, paper products, kitchen ware, towels. Great deck with bbq.The owner is local and easy to reach if any help is needed. Love this house!

Perfect Cozy Home

This home is a great place to stay and enjoy all of the things to do in this region. It is conveniently located near ski resorts, Petoskey and many other things. The home is well cared for, quiet and clean with lots of amenities to help your stay be very enjoyable.

Amazing central location for the dream golf retreat

The photos of this property didn’t do it justice. Very spacious and clean. Property rep was extremely efficient in getting back to me with answers to any questions we had. Location is smack dab in the middle of some of the best golfing I’ve ever had the pleasure to play.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and perfect space for what we needed. Love that Mackinac , Petoskey , Harbor Springs are 20-30 minutes from property. The only downfall I would say is the 1 bathroom. Otherwise everything great! Loved the awning as it was very rainy ! We want to invest in one for our home!

A clean home with all the amenities in a perfect location

My dad and I spent a week fishing in N. Michigan and stayed at this nice property. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals along with a grill on the deck. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for visiting the many bodies of water nearby. Really liked the convenience of the circle drive and exterior outlet to charge the trolling motor batteries on the boat every night. Two restaurants a short drive worth mentioning are the Northwoods- great steak and friendly service and a few miles to the east is Vivio's for Italian food and homemade pizza. I can't say enough about this beautiful area. From the lush green pastures and forests to the clear, Caribbean- like waters (looks wise, definitely not temperature wise!), to the way people seem to take pride in their homes and communities. Hope to return again.

Solid Basic Accommodations

Located 20 minutes from the slopes and Petoskey, this home has all you need for a good family stay. There are lots of utensils in the kitchen if you want to cook, but bring a sharp knife, a colander, and a steam basket if you need these items. The wifi and TV works fine (I brought my own Roku) and one of the couches is quite nice. The loveseat could use some...uh...love. The cushions are like a flat tire. The bathroom works well, but there's not much counter surface to put your stuff on. The soap dispenser on the wall is a hygienic convenience, but the product it dispenses would probably not be your first choice for washing your hair or body. Finally, the bed. I slept in the king bed, and it was comfortable. There is the beginning of a divot in the sweet spot, but not enough to bother this side-sleeper. The shades work great at blocking out the light, so feel free to sleep in. Steven is a responsive host, and all of our expectations were met.

We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Alanson last weekend. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing long weekend. The location was perfect, and the host was responsive and helpful. We accidentally left an item behind, and the host kindly helped us get it returned promptly. Excellent service and a great experience overall—highly recommend!

The kitchen was fine except no dishwasher. One sofa was dirty on the cushions and both sofashad no support, you would sink down almost to the floor, had to sit on 2 cushions on top of each other to be comfortable. The house was clean except the Kuric coffee maker had sand in it.

We have stayed here multiple times, for over 5 years now. Every time we stay is such a delight! Steve is great at communication and is very kind and understanding. The property has so much space for myself, my husband, and my family to stretch out and relax, with each room providing everyone with privacy. The only downside we have about the property is only having 1 bathroom with 6 people, but we figure it out. Thanks for another wonderful year at this house!

Great Up North Getaway

This home is great for my family. We enjoy all the conveniences provided and having space to spread out. The kitchen is large and has ample space for family dinner. The pictures online are accurate and the house is very clean, you can see that the owner takes good care of it.
