Loved staying here

Stayed here over my birthday weekend in Chicago and had a lovely time! The place was clean, organized, and the host was quick to respond and very helpful. The booking and check-in process was super easy and straightforward. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Perfect Listing

I enjoyed my stay at this Logan Square beauty. Listing was accurate. Safe, walkable neighborhood with lots of food options around. I recommend this place to anyone seeking a nice stay in a wonderful area.

Good stay

We enjoyed our time at the property. The location was decent, parking was hit or miss but we were usually able to find street parking at least within a block of the location. The house was decently stocked but was missing some fairly standard items you'd need if you were cooking. Nothing I'd really knock it for but since we were traveling with little kids we did make breakfast each morning and so these things became more apparent. (i.e. toaster didn't work, spatulas missing, etc.) Easy fixes. The owner was extremely responsive to messages and was even able to help us recover a piece of luggage we left at the property by shipping it back to us! Good stay overall and would recommend.

Great property for our Chicago trip!!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the property. We came to Chicago for a concert at Soldier Field and it worked out perfect. We were able to navigate to the surrounding shops and restaurants easily. Parking was decent given the fact we were in a big city.. The host, Joan, was very helpful and made our stay easy. We would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Very clean and perfect location

We came in to visit family and tour Chicago. The home is at a perfect location to the bus line and train station. There is also a grocery store down the block from the home. Joan was easy to work with and was excellent with checking in with us to make sure our checkin process easy. Great home for our visit.

We loved our stay at this apartment. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and felt very safe. The communication was great, and the apartment was very clean and updated. We will definitely stay here again while visiting Chicago!

Seamless & Spotless

This was a perfect spot for my partner, his parents and I to stay for our brief Chicago visit. Joan provided detailed instructions on how to get into the place and offered great advice throughout! The kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and living room were all very clean and well designed, making for an inviting atmosphere and an enjoyable trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Chicago

With temperatures below zero all weekend I was nervous that it was going to be a miserable time, but the stay was far from! Joan was so communicative the entire time and the apartment was the most cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the collection of tea left in the cabinet! The house was so easy to get to from public transportation and super conveniently located for our stay. Thanks so much! We can’t wait to visit again!

Very Clean Cozy Apartment, w/ easy check-in

The apartment is just as listed, clean, easy to get in and out. We had great weather so we were able to sit out front and have coffee in the morning. The people in the neighborhood we welcoming. The apartment had everything you need inside it including a large gas stove and double door fridge. We actually cooked Christmas breakfast with the pans provided by the host. Shopping locations were very close. The host, (Joan) was easy to contact and promptly replied EVER time we had a question or concern. Cons; parking is limited so get a spot B4 everyone gets home from work or you'll be searching. And, although we had noisy guest renting the unit upstairs, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Comphy, cozy condo

You know when you walk in someplace and immediately think "I could live here"? Both of my friends and I said separtely without the knowing the other had said also. It's not new which provides the feel of history of lives well spent throughout the decades. Fresh and kept up, with modern appliances. Immaculate and well appointed with just the right amount of decor and style. Joan was responsive and accomadating. There are several local shops in walking distance that meet your basic needs. Not in the middle of city, sites, so transport needed with reasonably priced Lyft and Uber readily available. This is a this is a quiet little jewel placed in a safe and friendly neighborhood. Away from the commercialized tourist areas. One issue for us seniors was the stairs. Though not many it was a bit of a chore getting this serial over-packer bag up the stairs .No matter, I would stay again with no hesitation. Oh yeah, one last thing, Joan provided the city's first snow of the season; beautiful, short and no barrier to getting around. How's that for accomodating!

Great Apartment

Stayed here for a business trip, the space and Joan (the host) were great! She was quick to respond to messages. The apartment looked as listed. Was clean with plenty of towels. The kitchen had enough supplies to manage cooking in for the week. I loved the fact the grocery store (Tony’s) was so close and I didn’t need to drive and park to grab groceries. The apartment is an older building and noises aren’t muffled as much as newer construction but my friend and I managed fine. Overall parking wasn’t an issue. It’s a busy area but we were able to find a near the front of the building on many occasions as we traveled for our business each day. We enjoyed the space and will stay there again when in the area.

Logan Square is one of the city's vibrant neighborhoods, balancing family-friendly activities and a thriving community of Chicago's aspiring artists, musicians independent spirited folks. The vintage charm of Logan Theater hosts the annual Chicago Underground Film Festival for those cinephiles. It is also the home of the historical Illinois Centennial Memorial that commemorates Illinois statehood designed by the same architect who created the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC.restored arcade machines.

Make your afternoon stroll or even a bike tour at Humboldt Park and Logan Square , as the community is graced with tree line boulevard and parks.
