It was very clean, and everything was as it appears in the photos. Very convenient to walk into town, and Ubers to the various wineries were easy and fast to get. My wife liked it so much, she said she wants to buy a place like it to retire to lol. Highly recommended!
My husband and I had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect. I loved everything the kitchen, the linens and beds were comfortable as well as the living room. Beautiful neighborhood, There was a lovely place one block away called The Hidden Tea Room, I would highly recommend and if you love Italian food don"t miss visiting Pietro's. Enjoy!
We visited several wineries during the day and had two delicious dinners. The house was clean, well appointed, and the location was perfect. All the appliances were in good condition and the bedrooms had ceiling fans. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lodi.
Outstanding home and more than we ever expected. If you can think of it, it was there. Would DEFINITELY refer others. If you want outstanding then book this home
When we arrived home and reminisced about our vacation, we were delighted with the VRBO home we chose in Lodi. This Charming three-bedroom, two-bath home in the heart of Lodi was perfect for us. This home was immaculate and very comfortable, especially the beds. There was a choice of foam or feather pillows. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. There were plenty of towels and upgraded bath products. Check-in and communication were great, and the listing was accurate. The house is located in a beautiful, tree-lined neighborhood and was extremely quiet. We most certainly will be back!
This place was so pretty! My husband and I were visiting a friend and we all stayed here in Lodi while doing wine tastings. The house is very nice and clean. The pillows and blankets were so comfy! Communication from host was simple and clear vs the pages you sometimes get. You didnât have to do a ton of cleaning which I also appreciate. Highly recommend!!!!
We had a 5 star experience in the home. Location is on a tree lined street within walking distance to the cute downtown. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The owners were very responsive and we just loved our time here.
The house was well appointed and comfortable! The property manager is extremely attentive and it shows with how well the house is well kept. We look forward to visiting again!
Our stay at the Firehouse was wonderful. It is spacious, with a cook's kitchen. It has everything from an air fryer to an InstaPot and all the placeware and tools you need. The bedrooms are quiet and roomy with excellent mattresses. It was super easy to book and easy to communicate with the owner. We gathered here with family for Christmas and had a great time. The place was decorated for the holidays and felt warm and inviting. We'll stay here again next time in Lodi. Pretty perfect.
The property was perfect for 6 of us! We enjoyed the lovely neighborhood and the walkability to downtown. The house was well appointed with kitchenware and bathroom items, including a curling iron! We will definitely stay here again when we return.
Nicely appointed kitchen; comfy beds and bathrooms. Bright and cheery! House is just down the street from Guantonios (a must try). A pretty easy walk to downtown. Would happily stay here again!
The Firehouse was very comfortable, beautifully remodeled, and an enjoyable place to stay for my whole family. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed the location and was able to walk and explore the quaint downtown.
Hello travelers and adventurers! Welcome to the Locust Street Firehouse in charming Downtown Lodi. We took this abandoned Locust Street house and renovated it into this tastefully decorated and comfortable vacation home... Rumor has it, this Locust Street house was the old Downtown Firehouse.
A little about us: Our families are deeply rooted in Lodi, since moving here in the early 1910s. We have been involved in the Wine/Agriculture business for decades, spanning four generations. Andy has been a grape farmer all his life, and Janice has been a registered nurse for the last 20+ years. The house we call home is located in Lodi, out in the country, where we enjoy hosting our large and growing family for holidays and celebrations.
Get the best of both worlds: Private, quiet Locust Street Firehouse on a wide, shady street and yet walking distance to the activities in Downtown Lodi.
