Sheryl and Bob were fantastic to us, we had nothing but smooth sailing so to speak, all our needs were met, place was clean, close by to everything as advertised, no complaints what so ever would highly recommend this rental for all !!.

A Fine Place To Stay

This is our groups second year at Suite Marie's, and we have been impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the lodging. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied, and there is a handy grill to use. The location is close to town and quiet. The owners take great care of the house and are always helpful. Our group has stayed in several places in Port Clinton, but this is by far the most comfortable. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Great communication

Nothing but positive - we had a wonderful stay. The rental had plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. The owner did an excellent job communicating with us. I hope we get a chance to stay again sometime. Thank you!

Cozy Cottage houses large group

Very pleased with the size of space to house all our guests. Small shower space, but otherwise very spacious throughout. Bit of an odd location. Very clean and very well kept. Comfy beds and ample linens for showering, beach going. The large kitchen table also fit our group specific needs great! Very pleased and would stay again.

Arrived on time, the property was immaculate, the kitchen spotless and well equipped, excellent air conditioning and wireless internet service. Location was very convenient; Camp Perry, restaurants, and shopping were all close by. Beaches were nearby (I'm not a beach person). This was my 17th trip to Port Clinton. The Crow's Nest is an annual dinner stop, as is Andy's Ice Cream. We're looking forward to staying here next year!

Great spot for a weekend at Cedar Point

Property exceeded our expectations. We had a large group and the dinner table was large enough to accommodate us all (10 people). The kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs and overall the place was spotless. House is about 30 mins away from Cedar Point. There is a gas station with a mini market next door which was very convenient. Sheryl was extremely nice and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and we would high recommend. Thank you Sheryl!

Good space, noisy location

The apartment was immaculately clean and generously sized for our group. Loved the big dining room table, where we played lots of board games! The one downside is the location on a busy road with railroad tracks nearby. Trains came through all night, blowing their horns. Bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. No yard to speak of for the little one to play in, but there is a great park a few blocks away, so this wasn't much of an issue for us.

isolated industrial location

No mention in previous reviews shed light on the location. This cottage is located on an isolated triangle of property abutting a busy boulevard, with a closed sports bar and closed car wash across the street, a 30 foot pile of dirt next door from a recent demolition, construction next door and the photo if widened would show this. No grass, just gravel, not on the water nor in view of the water, no privacy ouside the house. The interior is clean, well stocked and the renters were courteous. If you want to have your morning coffee outside on the patio, or spend any time wth your family or friends just relaxing or lounging outside the cottage, this is not the place for you!

Comfortable, convenient and accommodating!!

Sheryl was the prefect hostess. The property was clean and quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. We went antiquing, shopping in small, local shops in Marblehead, spent a full day at Put-in-Bay, and a day at the pool. We loved the local vibe and the friendly people. The home had everything you could think of. Plenty of cookware, board games, etc. We will definitely stay again!!! ♡

Complete package!

Cleanliness concerns

The property was in a great location for our needs and the host was easy to communicate with. We did have an issue with spiderwebs and bugs throughout the unit and even spiders in one of the beds so I’m not sure it the linens were even changed before our arrival

Wonderful stay close to everything!

The property was very clean, and provided many extras to make the area more enjoyable. There were plenty of towels,, blankets, pillows, etc, and an abundance of board games, books, magazines, and outdoor toys to keep the younger set entertained. There was a lovely outside area with chairs, table, and two grills. The view wasn’t much, as it is sandwiched between two gas stations, but it was surprisingly quiet. Location is VERY close to everything you could possibly want to do on the lake. Overall, we had an amazing stay! The property had plenty of bed space for 13 people, but everything else was a little tight. There is one shower for 13 people, and although the water from all of the sinks is scalding, the shower is lukewarm at best. The kitchen is very small, with a tiny little stove. The table is really right in the middle of the living room, and seats 8 people. There is a couch, loveseat, and chair for seating in the common area. The beds were laid out a little weird, as 4 double beds share one room, but it was just our family so brothers and sisters shared the space. Communication with our host was great!! We did not need anything, but she texted several times to make sure we were comfortable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would come back in a heartbeat!!

Sheryl and Bob was the greatest enjoyed my stay as well as my family including the grandkids, we all know that’s not easy keeping them excited and busy. Despite the extreme heat and on off showers it still was an amazing time. Thanks again I’m sure you will here from us again.

Very convenient parking for boats. The house is set up very nice with plenty of room for eight people that we had. The owner was very accommodating And ready to help with anything.

Their philosophy is that they want to offer accomodations that they themselves would enjoy at an affordable price.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Northcoast of Ohio was unknown to Sheryl until 2000 when she came and fell in love with the sparkling waters of Lake Erie and all the water related activities and history this area has to offer. Sheryl then met Bob in 2006 and fell in love with him and married him in 2007 at Historic Lyme Village in an 1800's Log Chapel.

Nice clean property to come home to after enjoying the beauty and attractions of the area. Centrally located just off of Route 2 on the east side of Port Clinton. Close to Lake Erie, public beaches/parks, gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants.
