Lake Erie House

Very nice house in Port Clinton with nice view of Lake Erie. Good central location with many 'Biggest Week in American Birding' sites within easy driving distance (15-45 minutes). Several very good restaurants in downtown area. dining establishments in Port Clinton.

Nice stay but … spiders

Overall stay was great! Many pros to this property: 1) location within walking distance to beach at Port Clinton, Lakeview Park, restaurants, downtown Port Clinton 2) plenty of space inside for our family of 5 adults and two children 3) pool was wonderful and appreciate all of the pool/beach toys 4) bikes both for adults and two smaller ones for kids 5) kitchen had good appliances and several dishes, pots pans, and utensils 6) private bathroom for each bedroom 7) comfortable beds with the two queen beds on the main floor being adjustable 8) great washer and dryer Cons: 1) several pots/skillets had loose handles and we had to screw them on better 2) some lights weren’t working 3) stairwell handle up to third floor is broken 4) pantry door in kitchen is missing screws and caused door to stick 5) but the main issue is that there were many spider webs and cobwebs over all of the deck space and exterior doors. We were unable to use the deck space especially at night because the spiders were out so much, plus we killed a few smaller ones indoors, webs are covering much of the huge windows that overlook the lake so it distracts from the view. A really good spraying for spiders and then power washing the deck and windows would be helpful. It is a nice property but could use some TLC on the inside for upkeep as wear and tear. happens.

Perfect Family Getaway

This home was perfect for our adult family of four and three grandchildren. The house was decorated with an adorable “lake” theme, and the beds were so cozy. Every appliance and kitchen item were available for cooking. I appreciated all the toys, bikes, puzzles, Legos, sand buckets and shovels, beach towels, and kid videos that were so helpful for evening time. We were steps away from the residential pool and minutes away from the water park, East Harbor beach, great restaurants and an ice cream shop. Nick the owner, was quick to answer any questions I had. We will definitely be back again next year!!! 🏖️☀️🚲

Excellent Location and House

We had a wonderful stay at this house on the lake. It's not directly on the lake but one house off. The neighbors were so nice. We could see the fireworks great from the beach at the end of the street. The house was very clean and equipped. I was very appreciative of the games for the kids. Having laundry access was also a plus.

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful 4 days in Port Clinton for a family reunion. The property was exceptional for our group which included 3 generations. The kids loved the games and toys, especially the Legos. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner was responsive to our texts and kept us informed when a pole as down in Port Clinton disrupting electrical power . I would rent here again.

Wonderful Property! Would rent again!!

We had a family party of 6 staying here for our son’s wedding! The host was wonderful, very informative and friendly and promptly responded to all inquiries!! The condo was absolutely great-very clean and well stocked with necessities! Had extras like bikes, games and books!! Can’t say enough about how pleased we were! Had a great pool area and the residents were super friendly! Only thing I could say, and no fault of property owner, was that there was no real beach to sit at and enjoy! Book it! :)

Nice condo, owner was very helpful!

This condo was very nice on the inside and the owner was very helpful. Make sure you do your research before staying here. The condo is on the water and it was May Fly season (end of June). While fish flies are harmless, it was challenging to leave the condo. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was a bug nightmare! I’m sure any other time of year this would be a wonderful place to stay!

Sweet Lakehouse

After negotiating steep stairs with many suitcases to get to the main living level, we appreciated the views out the expansive windows to the lake and a couple other homes in the neighborhood. The home is decorated nicely with a lake/beach theme and is quite bright/light. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom attached which was one of the reasons we chose this home. We couldn't get on the internet even after speaking to the owner until our second day. Two other family members arrived and used the door code to enter which then seemed to activate the internet that is tied to the security system. There is no garbage disposal, so be prepared to scoop out everything from the sink drainers. Other people have obviously let stuff go down the drain, so the sink backs up easily. The walls have little soundproofing, so you hear everything in other rooms and especially outside noise. The other couples said the king/queen beds were pretty comfortable but one twin bed was extremely noisy and very soft. The other was ok. Be VERY careful when entering and exiting the shared driveway that is angled strangely. The washer/dryer worked well and were very appreciated.

Great Port Clinton Stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property for our annual trip with another couple. The kitchen had everything we could need to cook, and we found amazing breweries and restaurants nearby. Comfy couches and plenty of space for our group of 4. We would definitely stay again!

Close to everything

Centrally located near beach, restaurants, and stores. A little noisy at night while trying to sleep since the home is located on a busy road directly across from McDonald's. Loud groups of guys walking past late at night as well as traffic woke me up but of course that's not the owner's fault. Very well stocked kitchen with complimentary K-cups was much appreciated and the owner was great at communicating. Perfect spot for our girls getaway!

Host Nic texted and was available out whole stay if needed. Property was fully stocked, clean, and welcoming. Close to restaurants she’s fishing. 6 plus size men stayed comfortably. Will definitely stay here again for walleye fishing trip.

Well Appointed Stay by the Lake

Our group of friends were impressed by this townhome. Plenty of room for us to hang out together to play games and chat and comfortable spaces to sleep! The home was very clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything you could want to make your stay feel like you were at your own home. Would love to rent again here!
