Chic appartement mitoyen victorien d'une chambre dans une rue calme, comme à la maison, très proche du parc des expositions Olympia, Holland Park, Kensington High Street. Heathrow en 25 minutes. Accès par la ligne centrale au centre de Londres. Wifi gratuit et accueil chaleureux.
Maclise Road est un bel appartement au premier étage baigné de lumière faisant partie d'une impressionnante maison victorienne dans le très populaire «village» de Brook Green à Kensington Olympia, à quelques pas de High Street Kensington. L'appartement dispose d'un beau salon avec des plafonds et des fenêtres inhabituellement hauts - donnant à l'appartement un sentiment incroyablement spacieux - belle corniche, un joli balcon orienté au sud et de magnifiques vieux planchers en bois. Cette propriété est une entreprise de location à temps plein dédiée aux vacances et gérée par des professionnels, et non la maison de quelqu'un. Même si nous l'avons rendu extrêmement simple!
Le logement comprend un salon / cuisine ouvert avec des plafonds exceptionnellement hauts, une salle de bains et une chambre double. Il y a un balcon privé à l'avant auquel on accède par des doubles portes depuis le salon. Maclise Road est une rue résidentielle calme très proche du parc des expositions Olympia.
Cet appartement spacieux dispose d'un grand salon et d'un coin cuisine séparé avec des sièges supplémentaires. Il y a une cuisine moderne bien équipée avec réfrigérateur, four et plaque de cuisson, de nouveaux couverts et vaisselle et un équipement de cuisine complet. Il y a un nouveau téléviseur dans le salon avec toutes les chaînes TNT et DVD. Également une station d'accueil «Zeppelin» Bowers & Wilkins et un accès haut débit Wi-Fi.
Maclise Road a une chambre magnifiquement proportionnée avec de hauts plafonds et un lit king size (fabriqué par Loaf, l'un des lits les plus confortables sur lesquels vous dormirez!) et beaucoup d'espace de stockage. La salle de bain a une baignoire et une douche modernes et beaucoup d'eau chaude. De belles serviettes White Company et du linge de lit égyptien 400 fils au pouce sont fournis
Il y a un accès par interphone de sécurité depuis la rue ci-dessous. La propriété est nettoyée avant et après votre arrivée et Ana la femme de ménage est disponible pour un nettoyage supplémentaire si nécessaire. Il y a aussi une machine à laver, une planche à repasser et un vélo disponibles sur un stand Boris Bike à seulement 40 mètres.
Il y a une pléthore de boutiques et de pubs locaux à Brook Green, et également à quelques pas de High Street Kensington, vous trouverez un large éventail de restaurants de classe mondiale et de grands magasins. Le nouveau méga-centre commercial de Westfield (le plus grand d'Europe) avec ses vastes installations de vente au détail, de restauration, de loisirs et de transport est également facilement accessible à pied. Cette zone de l'ouest de Londres est facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport d'Heathrow (20 minutes en voiture ou en taxi). Il existe de nombreuses stations de métro à proximité pour accéder au centre de Londres, et l'un des meilleurs pubs gastronomiques de Londres, la Havelock Tavern, est à proximité.

Comfy Apartment in a Great Location
The apartment is in a great location--just a few minutes' walk from a tube station, and close to nice shops, pubs, and restaurants. In spite of the August heat in London, the apartment had a very nice, cool cross breeze. Communication with our hosts was seamless, and the check-in process was smooth--exactly as described. We're glad we chose this property for our visit, and will definitely stay again!

Kensington Olympia
We had a wonderful stay here at Kensington Olympia. It is a beautiful apartment with many amenities to make it feel like a home away from home, the balcony is also great. It was walking distance to many tourist attractions and the tube is just at the end of the street for longer journeys. We will stay again and we highly recommend! Many thanks.

This is a sweet, comfortable, calm oasis from the chaos of downtown London … yet located for easy transportation to anywhere in the city. Communication with Hugo was a dream. Happy to give a 5-star rating.
That being said, if you are of shorter stature, the bath stairs and tub may require extra caution (not a negative, just a heads up).

Let the light in and stay like a local
We loved staying in this flat. There was so much light, it was in a great neighborhood and was quiet at night. We were able to get around quite easily on the tube. The walk to Shepherd’s Bush was ten minutes through the nice neighborhood with lovely architecture. The flat had plenty of space and having morning tea while reading the newspaper on the little veranda was heavenly. Just be mindful of the few (deep) steps into the bathroom. Communication with Lizzie and Hugo was seamless. It was very nicely appointed with a perfect combination of modern and traditional decor. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

The owners went were fantastic in their communication and preparing the apartment for our stay. VERY clean, tidy and practical. Plenty of space and nicely decorated.

Fantastic location, great apartment!
This apartment is in a really great location. It is located on a quiet street in a very nice neighbourhood. We definitely felt like locals while we stayed here! There are 2 major tube stations located an easy 10 minute walk from the apartment on opposite sides of the neighbourhood, and these two stations are the only ones you will need to get you to anywhere in London within 40 minutes. There is also an overground train station 2 minutes walk from the apartment, which was handy when we used it to get to Windsor Castle. There are plenty of local pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as a well-stocked Tesco Express just 3 minutes walk and a Tesco Superstore 7-10 minutes walk away.
The apartment is on the 1st floor (North American 2nd floor) of a building, accessible by one set of stairs. We did not have any trouble getting our suitcases up to the apartment. The apartment is exactly as listed, and it was a very cozy and welcoming apartment to come home to after a long day of sightseeing and exploring. Even though we stayed during a heatwave, the apartment was a comfortable and cool temperature due to the large windows in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and had the necessary linens available, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies and utensils.
The owners communicated very well with me before, during, and after our stay, and were very friendly and accommodating to our late check-in. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family, and I definitely plan to stay here again if/when I visit London in the future!

Cosy retreat in Kensington Olympia
We thoroughly enjoyed the flat. It is well appointed and was very nice to come back to at the end of the day. There is a luxurious bath tub to soak in and a little front deck to eat breakfast on. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The area was quiet for sleeping at night. The tube stations are several blocks away but not too far. There is a bus that stops at Kensington Olympia as well. Hugo and Lizzie provided lots of good information about the flat and the area.

Just as pictured
If stylish surroundings are a must, then this property delivers. The photos accurately represent the flat. Creatively and cleverly designed with a touch of English whimsy, the flat is a comfortable London-base and retreat for all seasons. We were there during the heat wave and didn't pull out the fan as the thick-walled construction and the cross breezes kept the space lovely and cool. Soft natural light during the day, the pretty sconce lighting plan in the living room/kitchen space makes the room cosy and relaxing in the evening.
The bed is very comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet, as is the building. And the flat was immaculate.
It's a few minutes walk to the overground station and walking distance to Kensington High street and other underground and bus stops but we lazily planned our outings from the overground station. There are also a couple of corners shops where you can pick up milk or a bottle of wine.
Hugo was easy to contact and very helpful.

Lovely elegant flat for London fun
We stayed at Hugo and Lizzie's flat for 9 days and had a wonderful time there.
The place was immaculate, comfortable and very quiet.
And dealing with Hugo was wonderful. We got a great info packet from him regarding many wonderful places to eat and go to...very well thought out and easy to understand. And the recommendations were spot on!
We would definitely rent this flat again were we to go back.

Wonderful Property in Great Location
Highly recommend this property that is in a great location by bus, tub or taxi to all London attractions. On the same block there are restaurants, mini-grocery stores, and even a dry cleaner. An additional plus is the bike rental rack less than a block from the flat which you simply use a credit card to use at your leisure. It is an easy tub ride from the airport combined with either a short bus or taxi ride to the flat. Windows at both sides of the flat allow great air-flow and cool temperatures through-out the day. Kitchen is very well supplied with any cooking a guest would like to do. We had a great stay and will keep this property in mind for future visits to London.

Great Apartment
We stayed in the 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment and it was great. Very comfortable with a full kitchen. Plenty of space for a couple with a good bed. Great location in Kensington with easy access to stores, restaurants, and the Underground. Will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting London.

Lovely renovation of apartment
This apartment has undergone an amazing redevelopment. New kitchen, bathroom, really lovely sitting room. One thing that attracted me as opposed to many other listings was the fact that this felt like home. The owner was there when we arrived and she was lovely! There was a detailed booklet letting us know instructions for everything and we didn't have to guess. All the beds were super comfortable with the king size bed and sofa bed, and beautiful bathroom) Around the corner is a great little general store and a fantastic wine shop and also a cafe and deli. Olympia is minutes away. We stumbled on a restaurant that had been open only a couple of days and wow, the food was stunning it's called the Havelock Tavern. The flat is really well located and it's easy to get around no matter if you use the tube, bus, Uber or Black cabs.

A home far from home
This flat was a perfect place for us in this beautiful city. It is situated in a little street, very silence! But there is all you need: nice flat, supermarkets, restaurants (Indian, Pubs or Fish and Chips - very good!), Bus stops and Underground stations. You need only 20 minutes to Heathrow and 30 minutes to Trafalgar Square. It was perfect! Thank you for all!

Tiny ants in the kitchen on the floor and counter.More comfortable seating for the living room. Difficult to take a shower without getting the floor wet. Bathroom needs a shower curtain! 2 sets of keys for when occupants separate. Dead bolt for the door-someone tried to get in.(wrong apt.)

Beautiful stay away from the crowds
This apartment was in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The bed and sofa bed were both comfortable. Beautiful Holland Park was a 15 minute walk away. There were a few bus lines about 5 minutes away, including the 9 and 10 which are beautiful routes into the city. Great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, classy neighborhood. Hugo was extremely communicative and reliable, providing great info on the neighborhood and London in general.

Excellent stay in newly renovated apartment
This was my favourite Owners Direct I have ever stayed in. One thing that attracted me as opposed to many other listings was the fact that this felt like home. We always loved the fact Brook Green and Olympia have very cosy 'village' feels whilst still being in the heart of central London and with easy access to the rest of the city. There are two parks on our doorstep, Holland and Hyde parks, glorious in summer. You can walk to the heart of Kensington in 10 mins - so its very well positioned. It is fabulous for pubs and restaurants, very handy for tubes and trains ... and very easy for exiting London on the M4 or M40 motorways.
