Summary:
Light, airy, serene 1 bedroom bungalow located just steps away from La Jolla Shores Beach. First floor has living area with pull out QUEEN sofa, half bath and full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances. Upstairs has washer/dryer, nook with a desk, bedroom and full bathroom.

Room for 4 people.

5 minute walk to famous La Jolla Shores Beach, less than 1 minute walk to restaurants and shops, kayak and surfboard rentals.

The Space:
- Cable TV in living area and bedroom
- fully-equipped kitchen w/microwave, toaster oven, full-sized refrigerator, stove and oven.
- Pull out sofa with queen size bed
- King bed
- Toaster, Coffee Maker
- Use of Iron, Iron board
- Desk nook just outside of bedroom

- Large private patio area with outdoor dining table and lots of seating. Perfect setting to relax, read a book, take a nap or enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine.

The Neighborhood:
La Jolla Shores is a world-class beach for families with great swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and surfing. Kayaks, bikes and surfboard rentals are located just one minute away.

There are several excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a convenient grocery store just steps away.

Getting Around:
If you plan to spend most of your stay in La Jolla Shores, you can easily walk to the beach or restaurants.

You may want to rent a car or use Uber/Lyft to get to many of the other attractions San Diego has to offer.

We had another lovely stay at the bungalow. Close access to the beach is so convenient. We love the neighborhood and all of the charming local businesses. The bungalow always provides everything we need. We will book again

Our Favorite Place to Get Away

We have stayed at the bungalow multiple times and always look forward to coming back. The rental is clean and stocked with everything needed for a beach getaway. We love how close it is to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream! We love enjoying the southern California weather on the enclosed patio with our dog. We have already booked our next trip and can't wait to go back

This bungalow is in a perfect location. Minutes walk to the beach and restaurants! Check-in process was easy and Rose is always available!

Loved it!

All in all we would absolutely stay here again! The unit was clean and seemed to be updated recently as all the appliances, flooring, bathroom, kitchen, etc. were all new and in great condition. We found it ideal for a family too given it was tucked away and very quiet, plus having the bedroom upstairs meant we didn’t have to have the same bedtime as our daughter! Also I can’t say enough about the location! Literally walking distance to a ton of cute shops, restaurants, and the ocean! The only minor thing (which is why I would give a 4 out of 5 for cleanliness) is that the rug downstairs is a thick rug that seems to catch a lot of dog hair from past guests. Nothing that would keep us from staying there again!

We enjoyed our stay

Nice location and property. With a little kindness it would be terrific. There are a few missing doorknobs, a missing hanging lamp, a broken outdoor hose making it hard to rinse the sand off our feet, and not a lot of hot water. All said overall it was very enjoyable. Rose was terrific with letting us know how to access the property and helping resolve a couple of minor issues.

Fabulous stay!

This is our favorite place to stay in La Jolla! Easy walking distance to the beach for morning coffee and two fabulous restaurants. The little yard is so nice, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bed is comfortable. Thank you!

Perfect Spot in La Jolla

Rose’s Beach Bungalow was perfect for our 5-night stay in La Jolla. The pictures and descriptions are an accurate depiction of the rooms, amenities, and lovely patio. Rose was very responsive to my inquiries, especially when we had an issue locking an outside door (it was repaired immediately). But the best part was the location - less than a 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach that’s over a mile long and well suited for kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. It was even less of a walk to many restaurants and shops. We had several breakfasts at the Corner Mercantile & Eatery which is just steps away. Rose provided a “Welcome” binder with many restaurant recommendations and other suggestions. This La Jolla Shores area of San Diego has a real neighborhood feel to it and was much less crowded and congested than the nearby La Jolla Village (which has even more restaurants and shops). Yet we were just a short drive to places like the San Diego Zoo, Coronado Island, and the airport. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so next year!

I enjoyed this lovely bungalow quite a bit. Perfect walking distance of many cute stores and food spots. The response from Rose was immediate and friendly. If I return to La Jolla Shores I will definitely enjoy another stay here!

Convenient apartment in relaxed neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in La Jolla Shores, which is the perfect daytime place to spend time. The beach is a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of casual eateries on the way past.

House location was very convenient to La Jolla Shores beach and restaurants. having the outdoor patio area was great for relaxing outside at the end of the day -- great amenity.
