This was the perfect spot for our stay in Philadelphia. Close to center city, south Philly, and Penn's landing. A clean spacious townhouse with a well equipped kitchen, family room, bathrooms and bedrooms.
Townhouse is lovely, comfortable, and well-kept. Less than a mile from Center City. Excellent alternative to a hotel. Free off street parking a big plus!
We had an excellent time at the property. It was clean with good amenities and communicative hosts, and was walking distance from many places we wanted to go to. --Important if you want to use the onsite parking: use a smaller vehicle! We had a small-medium sedan and it just barely fit.--
the townhouse is exactly like the pics. it's immaculate, clean and well located. it's an easy stroll to restaurant's, parks, the Italian market, the historical district and so many sites.
plus there are bike 2 separate indego bike stands, which is a fun fun way to explore Philly.
best of all, if you have a car, they have private parking.
everything went so so smoothly.
WE'LL BE BACK !
We stayed here for a long weekend, partly to take advantage of the city's sights and partly for a conference. The home is well located in a fun and eclectic neighborhood. Very walkable! The on-site parking was a definite plus, too.
Everything--and I mean everything--in the home is labeled somehow. Light switches, cabinets, remote controls. It was comical, but really very helpful.
The only criticism I have is that some of the dishes weren't very clean, so I washed them before use. The kitchen would also benefit from an electric or stove-top kettle.
My college-aged nephew and I went on a three day tour of MLB parks (PHI/WAS/BAL). We were looking for a spot where we could set up camp, but still get around to the various cities. This spot was perfect. It was in a neighborhood with lots of amenities (Starbucks and Whole Foods 1-2 blocks away), and good neighborhood charm (dog walkers, joggers, etc.) The Amtrak station was a 10 minute car ride away, so getting around the region was pretty easy.
At first when I walked in I thought it was small, but then I realized there were four total floors - far more space than the two of us needed. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and slept quite well. I also ran into a laundry problem during the trip and having a washer and dryer on site was a huge help.
I only had to contact the property owner once with a question and she got right back to me. Check out was very minimal. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Philadelphia.
Townhouse was just as described, and a very comfortable home away from home. We used to live in Philadelphia and were familiar with the location, being fairly central to family, friends, and favorite attractions in the city. Leslie was incredibly prompt and informative with details about access to the townhouse and resources in the neighborhood. (LOVED having such convenient, on-site parking!) We had two college-aged children with us, one who needed to stay in the townhouse and very comfortably complete on-line coursework. Would definitely come back for a stay!
This house was the perfect space for myself and my colleague/friend to rest and work while we attended a conference at the convention center. The condo was comfortable, clean and we felt that we each had our own space. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.
Great location could visit all Philadelphia universities staying here. Would also be great for a vacation to do the historical tours of Philly. Overall no issues and would stay again!!
The townhouse was clean, comfortable and contained all the amenities necessary for a relaxing getaway. Major attractions were within walking distance. Just don't turn the lock on the back door handle as I learned the hard way, but Leslie was quick to call back and assist. Overall nice stay.
Retired cliinical oncologist. Used to work at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and lived in this house until I got married and we moved to the suburbs where my wife works.
This is a relatively spacious, fairly light and airy townhouse on 3 floors together with basement with private secure parking on the premises, very close to all amenities on bustling and eclectic South St, which is just a few yards from the rear of the townhouse.
Close to all the amenities of South Street, including many restaurants, grocery and food stores (Whole Foods, Acme, WaWa, Starbucks), as well as PNC bank and many other ethnic and otherwise eclectic establishments. Close to an upper-tier general hospital, police and fire-station. Bus-stops going in all directions within a block or less from the house. Also within 6 small blocks from Broad St subway with access to all regional and inter-city railroad travel.
