We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The house was well stocked with all the essentials we needed. Jacques was a fantastic communicator through out our two week stay.
The location of the home is a great central location between Sant Pol Del Mar and Calella. Should I ever return to Barcelona I would absolutely seek this property out again.
A superb week, the villa spacious and airy, the garden lovely, the pool large. And the view exceptional. Last year's menace of barking guard dogs all the way up from the beach was somewhat reduced, too! A slight hiccup with too much chlorine in the pool but Jacques was on the case immediately. We loved it and hope to go back . . . .
Great place. We were fortunate to enjoy nice weather so one of the days we stayed back and enjoyed a day by the pool. Pool was clean and a good size. Great view of the sea with lots of privacy. Mostly comfortable beds. Lots of kitchen items. Convenient to have both laundry machines. And the host is very helpful and easy to get a hold of if needed. Would stay again!
Great, clean and well appointed property. Excellent ongoing communication with owner. Views were amazing. San Pol is walkable but quiet so youâll need transport to get into Calella for additional restaurants and bars. That said itâs only a 30 minute walk
There are details in the interior and in the garden/pool that would benefit from a little attention and care. For example a new coffe machine, more and not broken parasols. We missed pool maintenance.
We (husband, wife, 3 adult âchildrenâ) stayed here mid-May for 1 week. The space is how it appears in the pictures. There was so much room and everyone comfortably had their own area. The outdoor area and pool were lovely. Fantastic views. We did have a car - maneuvering in tight areas and on the hills was challenging, but doable. We took the train in to Barcelona 1 day - it was well over an hour including walking time and cost 50 Euro for 5 of us. So the following days we drove to Barcelona - more like 35-40 minutes. Parking was 3-4 Euro an hour.We walked to the beaches in Calella 2 of the days - that was a great time. Bar/restaurants right on the beach, very reasonably priced. Also can get loungers and umbrellas for 7 Euro for each. Do bring or buy beach towels as those are not provided at the home. We walked a lot and donât mind walking - for those with mobility issues - there are some steep hills. My husband and I walked to a little cafe in San Pol de Mar most mornings and had coffee. Also markets within walking distance as well. We made supper in the home 2 of the nights - food at the markets were fresh and tasted fantastic, we had what we needed to cook in the kitchen. We drove into Calella a few evenings - parking was difficult especially on the weekend. But the bars, pizza places, tapas places were lively and fun. We tried to pick less touristy places. We had an enjoyable time and I would choose to stay here again with my family.
We came for a family get-together, eight people over three generations. Everyone's needs admirably catered for. Very spacious, very comfortable and with a superb view. Well stocked kitchen, copious towels, the pool terrific. The garden is beautiful. Negatives? Well, the view comes at a price, of a steep 15 minutes up from the beach at the end of the afternoon but we'd foreseen that and it's only once a day. More disturbing are the guard dogs who press on the fences and gates on the hill up, barking and slavering. Not great for adults. The stuff of nightmares for the 7-year-old. But, knowing this, we'd still love to go back. It was an idyllic week!
