Notre charmant chalet de plage en bord de mer est situé dans une rue calme et privée dans la tranquille communauté balnéaire d'Ormond by the Sea, et est mis en place pour satisfaire tous vos besoins de détente totale. Venez découvrir les tortues sauvages nichant année après année, profitez des vues à couper le souffle des lancements de la navette spatiale, ou détendez-vous simplement sur notre plage calme et magnifique! Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est fourni, des chaises et des parapluies aux serviettes et aux jouets de plage ... tout ce que vous devez apporter est votre maillot de bain! Vous recherchez des activités? Passez un jour ou deux à jouer au golf, à la pêche ou à la voile! Intéressé par la course? Daytona Beach et International Speedway se trouvent à seulement cinq milles!

La restauration à l'extérieur ou à l'extérieur est facile avec une épicerie locale, une boutique de beignets, de petites boutiques et des restaurants pittoresques à quelques minutes à pied. Notre cuisine est entièrement meublée pour toute expérience culinaire ... du papier et du plastique au cristal et aux bougies! Que vous choisissiez notre salle à manger avec une belle vitre donnant sur l'océan, notre porche côté océan pour un bar-b-que extérieur, ou la plage elle-même, votre repas sera amélioré par des vues et des sons préservés sur l'océan.

À l'occasion de la fin de la journée, profitez d'une belle promenade au coucher du soleil sur la plage ou d'un océan à boisson. La vie nocturne de Daytona offre toutes sortes de divertissements, ou si vous êtes dans l'ambiance pour quelque chose de calme, il suffit de sortir un film de notre armoire stockée, de faire cuire des oreillers en plume, de prendre une courtepointe et de vous installer pour une soirée relaxante. Fabulous vacation hideaway

Ultra clean, modern, beach house that provides numerous necessities and accessories for a worry free, comfortable, and fun filled holiday. Very quiet and private beach is a 30 second stroll away. Ocean view from the large dining table and living room is wonderful. I hope we can enjoy another vacation in this hidden gem next year.

Perfect spot to enjoy the beach

We loved this home and the easy access to the beach, seriously, just steps away. Trish was the perfect host and went above and beyond in accommodating our needs! We highly recommend her perfect cottage.

Beachfront bungalow

My husband and I were looking for a no stress getaway and we saw this posting online. The pictures were accurate the cottage was completely stocked with everything we needed. Trish the owner was very responsiveand quickly called the garage door keypad repair man when the key pad didn't work. The owners obviously have families stay because the cottage was completely stocked with games, puzzles, beach chairs, beach toys and towels. The location could not be beatwith a view of the ocean right from the large livingroom window. With a 1 minute walk to the waters edge we couldn't have been happier with the location. Thanks Trish for the wonderful memories and we hope to be able to return one day.

Amazing Beach Front Cottage

We had a great stay in this cottage by the sea. The first couple of days were pretty cold, and the owner was relentless to get the heat working; sending a tech out at night and staying up until 1 am to make sure it was fixed. After that, we had warmer days and it was so nice to be able to walk 1 minute to the beach and to have a panoramic view of the waves crashing on the shore. The cottage was clean, tastefully appointed, and stocked with just about everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this great little cottage, and if you do decide to stay, head down the road about a mile to Alfie's Restaurant and get a piece of the BEST key lime pie you'll ever have!

Best Location for Private Beach Home

Sure, there are places on the beach in Ormond, but they are mostly condo units stacked on top of each other. This place was on the beach and we had four walls to ourselves with no one above or below to worry about! There is more living space than the photos make it seem to be. Our family two adults and two children under 9 and dog, had a great time and plenty of space to spread out. My favorite room was the dining room with the large table by the picture window that looked out to the beach. Lots of space in the well stocked kitchen. I don't like to cook much for week long vacations except breakfast. I love not having to worry about packing seasonings, spices, and oil. There is filtered water with reverse osmosis system at the sink too. The kids slept great in the double bunk room. We kept the storm shutter down for room darkening. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We took off the down comforter as it was still warm out. The bathrooms are on the small size, but did not impact us. In fact, both kids only showered outside the whole week. There are plenty of towels and wash cloths. Very appreciative of the full size washer/dryer (and laundry soap). Thanks also for the homemade jellyfish spray, which we used once. The other great part of this beach rental were the beach items for use- so great to not have to pack all of these things in the car! The beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, and of course oversized, fluffy beach towels. Location- of course, steps to the beach. Beach was not crowded at all. Across the street from two of the best pizza places in Ormond and donut shop. Just a minute from Publix. Owner was very responsive with any questions we had. We will be back!

The house is well located with easy access to the beach. There's a grocery store a short distance away. The neighborhood is quiet which may be due to our visit being in the off season. The kitchen is well equipped. Dry goods are available for use. Most accommodating. We pretty much had the location to ourselves. So relaxing with a great view of the ocean.

Beautiful cottage and the location is right at the beach! We love the secluded private drive and quiet neighbors. This is my family’s go to beach vacation spot that we’ve stayed at a few times and bring our pups. Trish the host is very easy to communicate with and is always a pleasure to reach out too. Highly recommend this charming place!

Beautifully updated beach cottage

We had a lovely 3-week stay at this cottage only a few steps from the beach. The cottage had everything we needed—a thoughtfully updated kitchen, nicely-organized beach gear, comfortable beds, cozy living area, a closet full of games. This beach north of Daytona is quieter and more neighborly and we loved being able to walk to several excellent neighborhood restaurants nearby or, for larger shopping, take 2-minute drive to Publix. Great place to stay!

Perfect Location!

We loved our stay at Trish’s place! That VIEW!! The house was very clean, and is decorated so beautifully with everything you need during your stay. The neighborhood is quiet and our pup enjoyed sitting outside with us enjoying the weather. Great communication from Trish during booking and throughout our stay. Our entire family can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect place on the beach. Has everything you could need to play on the beach- beach chairs, towels, toys, all the things you can’t bring on the plane with you. And plenty of room in the house for the whole family.

A Heavenly Stay and A Memorable Family Visit!

This Beach Cottage was breathtaking, peaceful, restful, tastefully decorated, and meticulously clean! The hosts, Ed and Trish, are the sweetest and kindest people we have found on VRBO. They do not treat your vacation as a profit but place people above the business as an act of service to ensure a comfortable and memorable trip. Trish responded promptly to any questions and was 'attention to detail' with vacation information for an enjoyable family stay. The host also accommodates your situation within reason. You need to ask. Pet-friendly and roomy enough for an 8-person retreat. The host thought of everything, so you have the total comforts of home, from a fully stocked kitchen to a garage full of beach fun. You do not need to spend more $ as this is a fully operating & functional cottage. Within a short drive is the Peach Valley Cafe for breakfast, Publix for groceries, and other storefronts. It is a small complex of beach cottages some rentals and other homes but an excellent friendly environment only a few paces away from the beach. The VIEWS are incredible from the big bay windows. And the long 8-seated dining table made for plenty of meals and gatherings. The closets were stocked with board games & the home had no design, fashion, or decor shortcuts. Everything was elegant and classy. This is the place to be. I will recommend it and will return again! From start to finish, this cottage and its beautiful-hearted host make for a memorable vacation. Hello! I am passionate wife and joyful mom of 5 amazing kids! My husband and I purchased this home when we were expecting our third child back in 2001, and our family has made MANY wonderful memories here throughout the years! Now that our children are grown and launching, we want to share what has been so special to our family with others!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our cottage is set up beautifully for families and guests to be able to live and relax in! We have. intentionally decorated and stocked it as a cozy and welcoming home rather than as a 'rental'. Everything from quilts, games and feather pillows in the family room, to spices, condiments and paper & plastic in the kitchen, to beach umbrellas, chairs, shovels and toys in the garage are provided so you can spend your vacation time enjoying the beach and not out shopping for basics!
One of my favorite features of the cottage is the private hot water shower around back! Our family uses this shower almost exclusively when we get to visit - we simply hang clean towels outside before heading to the beach, and then everyone showers here before entering the cottage through the side garage door. It is such an easy way to keep sand and sun tan lotion outside!
Another favorite feature is the incredible view of the ocean from the dining room which can be seen from all areas of the house( except the bedrooms.). I love being able to enjoy the beauty of the beach even when I am inside making dinner or simply enjoying some air conditioning!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The cottage is located on one of the very few remaining private streets right off of A1A and right onto the beach! That's right -there are NO roads to cross! Rather, simply walk out the door and in less than 30 paces, you are walking on the beach! We are also blessed that our little street is simply beautiful! All of the 8 cottages on the street have beautiful plush green yards and landscaping ~ It simply adds to the warmth and charm of the entire atmosphere!
