Beacher's Lodge Mini Suite - Comprend le ménage de l'hôtel

Ce mini studio unique en son genre, situé juste au coin de la piscine et de l'accès à la plage. Le lit escamotable queen est caché dans l'armoire murale pendant la journée, mais la nuit, il peut être abaissé pour devenir un lit queen size confortable. L'énorme télévision à écran plat vous divertira pleinement dans cette petite unité. Vous pouvez créer une ambiance pour deux dans cette suite confortable avec l'éclairage subtil caché dans la moulure de la couronne. La kitchenette est séparée dans cette pièce par un comptoir en granit poli, tirer un tabouret de bar et il n'y a pas besoin d'une table de cuisine. Ce condo a une prise de deux brûleurs, un petit réfrigérateur et les commodités de base de la cuisine. La salle de bain a également été améliorée en granit avec une pomme de douche à effet pluie s'étendant du plafond. Tous ceux qui restent dans le condo 107 semblent charmés par cette MINI Studio Suite.

Small but was fine for us

Nice clean room but no view and very small.

The lack of view could be my fault but I swear when I booked, the room pictures showed that it had a view. Aside from that, we were only there 1 night and we were satisfied with the room, except the TV which would not hold a consistent volume.

My Trip to Saint Augustine

Lack of Communication

Upon arrival our unit smelled strongly of sewage and sulfur emitting from the drains. When the maintenance crew arrived they were aware of this specific unit and the issue of the odor; they poured a solution down the drains and sprayed air freshener but the odor prevailed after leaving the room for 90 minutes. The employees at the Beacher's Lodge were extremely helpful in cancelling our stay and processing a refund without any issue, however, it was a frustrating scenario to be placed in by seeking new lodging at 8PM on the initial day of a vacation. At no point did the VRBO host reach out and attempt to find a resolution to this problem, or provide any communication on the matter. If one plans on visiting this area, I highly recommend seeking other avenues rather than go through this VRBO Host, as they have failed in every area that a Host can fail in.

Worst room we've ever rented there

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was not what we expected from the pictures. At check in the room smelled of sewage and the mini fridge didn't work. Maintenance came and fixed both. During the stay we constantly had the smell of bleach coming through the drains. The worst was the mattress on the bed. After 1 week I personally changed the sheets to only my wife and I to see the mattress was covered in stains. Very unsanitary! My wife refused to sleep on the bed for the reminder of the trip. We come every year gor 2 weeks and also have a good experience until now. Very disappointed seeing how much we paid for the room. There were other issues too but not enough room here to say it all.

When we first got there, we requested early check in and we were able to do so around 3. When we pulled the Murphy bed down, the sheets were kinda gross.. full of hair and dirty but we requested new ones and we were accommodated right away! Other than that, it’s very clean, beautiful location, and overall an amazing stay!! We will definitely stay here again!!

St. Augustine Long Weekend

Beachers Lodge property is very clean. It feels safe. We had stayed before and had expectations for condo size. This was a suite which is more like the size of a hotel room. Very clean though with updates. Our only problem was the smell of a deodorizer perhaps ? It was very strong. I looked for a plug in of some sort but nothing was found. I never found the source of the very strong smell. Some people may like that. I have asthma so it was unpleasant for me. Still overall it was just fine. I will stay at the Beachers Lodge again, but will find a larger place with the window facing the Ocean next time.

Single room, with a Murphy bed. Clean, small, and very close to the beach. This is an older place with. Small efficiency option. Not bad, AC worked and very close walk to why we went, THE BEACH!

First time rental

BEACH BUMS

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted a beach front accommodation for this past Memorial holiday and our son and his family were meeting us that same time from their home in Tennessee. They found Beacher's Lodge so we called to book but unfortunately the availability was slim at the time. Our son was able to get ocean front view (they were coming 2 days b4 us) but my wife and I were only able to get "parking lot" view in the smallest room there (107). It was just way too small for sure. Murphy bed only w/terrible mattress! No ocean view was ok but the square ft of that room was like a large "closet". We don't recommend that room to anyone and the mattress caused 2 completely sleepless nights for that stay. The lodge overall was ok (very old and kinda rough). We arrived early so the desk took our cell# and said they will call when room was ready so we joined our son on the beach while waiting, the call never came by 4pm so we walked to the office to see that the door was locked and no staff. We had to call the emergency # who eventually sent a maintenance worker to get our keys (that did NOT work) so we had to walk back to the office in hopes that person was still there. He had to wait for his supervisor to show up and remake the 2 keycards and we finally entered our room by dinner time. Like I said, ok place but very old and a bit ill staffed would not recommend room 107 at all. Enjoy!!

It was okay

It's a little pricey for such a small room. We had issues with the AC that they didnt tell us we had to empty a drip pan and it flooded our room. We dealt with it for a couple days then they ended up putting a new unit in. They were very nice, though and we felt that the issue was taken care of. They even refunded us for a night. The room is a little rundown but it's fine enough for a couple day stay, not a week like we did.

Location a problem, not the size

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room located at intersection of 2 busy hallways. Constant noise from people walking by. Door opens onto parking lot/hwy A1A so continual car noise. Limited places to sit outdoors - pool opens late and closes before sunset. No common areas to sit other than on beach - which was beautiful. Entrance door really needs to be fixed. Room would be good if you had friends staying at the resort and you used for sleeping only.
