Une cabane en rondins de luxe d'une chambre construite par une équipe de mari / femme d'architecte local qui a mis 3 ans à construire cette belle cabane en rondins. Vous adorerez l'intimité totale des 20 acres environnants et du ruisseau rocheux environnant que vous voyez de chaque pièce. Prenez note de la salle de bain principale! C'est comme si vous étiez dehors tout en vous relaxant dans notre baignoire à jets ou en profitant de notre douche à effet pluie. Le bain à remous extérieur à l'eau salée est idéal pour un massage apaisant tout en écoutant le ruisseau et les sons de la forêt, sans aucun produit chimique agressif pour irriter la peau sensible, pour que tout le monde puisse en profiter!

Creekside Cabin est construit dans un développement équestre privé connu sous le nom de Leatherwood Mountains, situé à proximité de Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Blowing Rock et Wilkesboro.

Autres Activités: Bonne pêche à Elk Creek (permis requis), court de tennis communautaire et piscine (été), Wilkesboro YMCA -Good GYM- sur NC268, à environ 32 km de Leatherwood. Mes choses préférées à faire sont de faire un tour panoramique à travers l'arrêt Blue Ridge Parkway à plusieurs endroits magnifiques pour pique-niquer et se promener tranquillement le long de sentiers faciles ou faire une randonnée jusqu'aux cascades. Grandfather Mountain est un endroit bien connu le long de la promenade. Vous pouvez aller à Blowing Rock, une petite ville balnéaire avec de jolis magasins et restaurants à environ 40 km. Vous pouvez faire du rafting, du canoë ou de la tyrolienne à travers les pourvoiries de Boone. Randonnée à cheval à travers l'écurie de Leatherwood Mountains ou d'autres écuries de la région de Boone. Il y a plusieurs caves à explorer dans les régions voisines. Beaucoup de nos clients veulent simplement rester dans la cabine et se détendre dans le cadre privé de la montagne.

Just amazing!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a few nights here. It was perfect. The property was spotless. The creek, home setup, and countless places to just let your mind drift were so peaceful. We were able to recharge and truly relax. We are committed to staying again later this year. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy a small slice of heaven.

Most amazing, private, romantic place imaginable.

Highly recommended, if you want to relax and have the ability to hike and enjoy beautiful country close by, all while enjoying amazing beauty and peace while at the cabin, this is the place.

Great place to stay to just get away. The place was perfect!! The pictures do not do it justice. If you are looking for peace and quiet so you can just unplug and recharge….this is it. We loved it!!!

If you are second guessing staying here, book it now. You will not be disappointed. This cabin is everything in the pictures and more. What a fantastic way to unwind from everyday life! The kitchen is clean and has the essentials. This place is laid out so well it feels like your own home after 5 min inside.

Pure bliss!

Absolutely amazing property. From the beautiful cabin with the log burning fireplace to the flowing creek and awesome bathroom which makes you feel like you are a part of the outdoors, the whole experience is breath-taking and hard to put into words. The most relaxing and beautiful place we have stayed. This is our 7th year of visiting and can't wait until next year!!

Had a wonderful time staying at the cabin!! Me and my wife got engaged there back in January 2021. We got married a year ago, and we were excited to return to the cabin for our one year anniversary! A little piece of heaven. I can’t say enough how beautiful and peaceful this place is. If you like to be around nature but still with comfort this is the place. The cabin is very Unique. Great for pictures too. You can hear the sound of the rushing creek from every room in the cabin. This was our second time here. Already planning to come back again.

Perfection

This is by far the most Zen property we have EVER stayed at. Everything you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. If you are looking for some time away with a loved one, or even on your own, this is the place for you. This place is secluded, private, and the owner's have clearly thought through the details. Very rarely do we visit a place more than once. We love seeing new things, but my wife and I both agree, this is going to become a go to for us when we need a weekend of solitude.

Peaceful Seclusion

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend, the cabin was great, the setting was beautiful, you can hear and watch the creek babbling by throughout the day, the lighting at night was quite cool. Not too far from Blowing Rock (probably about 45 minutes), if you do want to get out but I could easily have stayed there for the whole weekend without leaving. Highly recommend!

Our second stay here!

This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful... A quiet, private mountain/creekside getaway for 2. The cabin is comfortable and luxurious, the kitchen is stocked with utensils & supplies, and the grounds are fun to explore. A couple tips for visitors: 1) We didn't use the hot tub this time, as I think it was in economy mode and we didn't realize that until it was too late... So check that first and give it time to warm up! 2) There is a Keurig, so bring your K-cups. 3) Enjoy the time away from your cell service and relax :)

My only reluctance in reviewing this property is that I worry about the secret getting out. It’s just perfect. AJ and Vicky were very accommodating. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but a winter storm cut my trip short Regardless, they helped me navigate a few minor challenges and reduced my worry. If you are looking for that mountain hideaway, you found it

This property is secluded, and sits in a breathtaking natural spot. The notched log main areas and bedroom quarters are very well built, with impressive rock masonry throughout. I appreciated the architecture and antiques, and my wife was a big fan of the huge, super-comfy bed, and the wonderfully unique master bath/en suite. In this case, you truly do get what you pay for. The owners are great, and are concerned that you have a wonderful stay. Thanks Vickie and AJ for being willing to share this wonderful property.

Magnificent!

My wife and I have stayed at 30+ cabins in the past 16 years. We typically look for a cabin that is on the same page with what we personally would want to own or build ourselves. This cabin is hands-down number one on our all- time list! It is in the most beautiful setting and the owners have done a wonderful job in paying attention to all details. Everything you need is right there and it is extremely romantic. From the 1st class wood-burning fireplace in the living room to the jaw dropping amazing master bathroom out to the fire pit then on to the hot tub perfectly placed on the edge of the creek you will not find a better cabin available. If this cabin were $400 per night you would leave having ZERO buyers remorse I can assure you! There’s no question we will be back! Simply outstanding!!!

Most romantic and best cabin ever!!!

This cabin is truly the most unique and best place to stay if you need a tranquil, restful getaway! The location is amazing! It is completely private, surrounded by trees and the running creek. The views in every room are amazing! The bathroom is truly heaven - with the shower and Jacuzzi tub - with the bonus views! The bedroom is nice and cool - the bed is heavenly. The fireplace is amazing and very well vented! The living room is cozy and the kitchen is perfect for all your needs! The owners were fabulous to work with, very responsive and accommodating. You really could not ask for a better place to stay, better hosts/owners, and a better view or location. This cabin is truly good for your soul! My husband and I went on our first trip away from kids in 10 years for his 50th birthday. We have stayed in many places in the past. But this was truly outstanding and one of a kind! We plan to come back often - which is not something we usually do. I am also a functional/integrative physician and I can honestly say this place is good for your health with all the trees, the running water and tranquil nature of the location, and the solitude! We cannot recommend it enough!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Words may not be able to express the amazing Creek Side Cabin. What a wonderful mix of cozy cabin feel with elegance and luxury. The kitchen has all the cooking items you need (including a crock pot to make chili on a cool winter night). We planned to stay at the cabin the whole time and made meals each night and we were so happy we did. The master bed was comfy and cozy. Having the sliding glass door open to hear the sound of the rushing creek gave me 2 of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. The master shower is awe inspiring. We enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on the porch with the cool morning dew. The hot tub was wonderful and well maintained. Another note worth comment.. PRIVACY... we felt like we were the only ones around. Never heard or saw another person while at the cabin. It is such a private area surrounded by beautiful trees and forest. You can tell they take much pride in keeping the place up to date and with all the amenities you would need. I have already recommended this cabin to family and friends and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a true peaceful get away. We plan on making this an annual vacation spot!

TOTAL SECLUSION BUILT FOR TWO - A ONE OF KIND EXPERIENCE

Experience the North Carolina Mountains in a totally different way. My wife and I (early 60's) have celebrated our anniversary with a week in the North Carolina mountains for most of our 21 year marriage and this property is the most unique we have experienced. It's a one of a kind respite for a couple to escape from normal life, recharge and reconnect. The structure sits on the slope of a mountain with a rushing stream only feet from the bedroom door and windows. You are transported by the constant rushing of water cascading the stone creek bed. The first 3 days of our visit were impacted by the remnants of a hurricane passing thru with substantial rain, but we didn't care. The sound of the stream along with the rain hitting the metal roof provided a rare kind of enjoyment and rest. The house provides a very tranquil experience due to its design and finish. For instance, the floors are all stone so you don't hear any creaks or footsteps as you walk thru the house - not even your own. The master suite sits at a lower elevation than the living area, closer to the stream. The spa-like bathroom is huge and a real work of art. There are two walls of windows which provide a feeling of being elevated in the trees, providing a truly unique experience, with total privacy, as you enjoy the rainfall shower, day or night. It was particularly relaxing to spend time every evening in the outdoor hot tub followed by a refreshing rainfall shower. There is also an outdoor fire pit. There is a definite remote feel to the location, even though it is located in a gated community with a paved road right to the door. After dark, there is nothing to indicate the presence of other structures. Leatherwood Mountain Resort is not a highly populated property. We have now spent four vacations there, including our wedding trip in 1996, renting a different home each time. Being as it is quite a drive to get to populated areas, we brought food with us and enjoyed cooking all our meals except for two lunches while we were visiting Blowing Rock, which is about an hours drive and a really great little village for a day trip. In addition to the fully equipped kitchen, there is a very nice gas grill on the back porch. It is about an hour to the Blue Ridge Parkway whether you stick to the main routes or take the adventure of an available, well-maintained mountain backroad which is a truly enjoyable drive even though a portion is not paved (best for daylight only).

This is our second time staying in this cabin and will not be the last. We enjoy all this cabin has to offer. Highlight of our trip this time was relaxing in the hot tub while the snow was falling.

A beautiful cabin, on a beautiful property, with clean, comfortable, and convenient fixtures and amenities. We stayed for our honeymoon last year, and love it so much we came back for our first wedding anniversary. Everything was just as amazing as we’d remembered!

We fell in love with the architecture design of the log cabin, just like I know you will.
We bought it from the couple that designed and built the cabin. We are honored to carry on the romantic rental vacation home, just as they intended to share with us.

It feels like you are in a National Forest with natural surroundings and no other houses in sight. The creek is what makes this place so heavenly! Leatherwood homes are within a gated community with shared amenities such as swimming pool and tennis courts. There are 75 miles of trails for walking or riding horses throughout Leatherwood. Wonderful fishing with a purchased fishing license along the surrounding river.

The cabin is a one of a kind architectural designed beauty that is surrounded by the wonderful sounds of the creek. The grounds are lit at night so you can enjoy the creek waterfalls even in the evening. We looked for years and years to find a romantic spot like this to celebrate our anniversary and when we did... we BOUGHT IT! ;o)
