What a delightful home! It had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation! Comfortable and clean accommodations. Great beds and pillows. 2 refrigerators/freezers. Lots of room to spread out. Great location. Hosts were readily available. We will be back!

Group consensus: Great place to stay!!The property had a great open space where we could all hang out and plenty of space so you could "break away" from the group if you needed "alone" time. The kids and adults alike liked the outdoor space... room to run, throw a football, etc. We really liked the location! So easy to get to wherever in Door County.

Great stay in Door County

The house was a great space for our family of 12 (8 adults, 4 kids). We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard in the evening and relaxed on the porch. Location was convenient to explore the Door Co. area. We had a great stay.

Was lovely. Beautiful secluded property. Could use some throw blankets and warmer bedspreads/comforters. Many lights not working. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Charming home in a great location!

I owned a home in Ephraim for over 30 years, and now come each year with 3 friends for a golf weekend. We've rented many homes, and this is the nicest we've stayed in. Clean as a pin, nicely decorated, and well appointed, we will be back!

A perfect family getaway

Manistique Stone Cottage was a great place for the family to gather. This cozy and unique property provided the perfect home base for parents, children, and grandchildren to gather after being apart for over a year due to covid. We were able to reconnect and build family memories in a beautiful and comfortable home that is perfectly located to enjoy the activities Door County offers.

Amazing trip

We had such a great experience in door county this weekend! The hosts were so sweet and even left a glass cherry! The places was perfect for 11 ladies and we had everything we needed! For sure recommend this location!

Beautiful, charming home

My family stayed at the house which was perfect for us since it was so close to Fish Creek. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms- easily could house more than my family. The home is situated with plenty of outdoor space.

Fish Creek girls getaway

The cottage was charming. We enjoyed the screened in porch and backyard. For how many people the cottage can sleep there could be more bathrooms or the bathroom upstairs redone. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations.

Wonderful idyllic stone cottage

What a sweet place!! So clean and well decorated! We loved having coffee every morning on the porch! Great central location to all activities. Some street noise but not problematic and dissipated at night! Pillows were SO comfy! Everything worked well and was in good repair. Obviously a well loved cottage!

Cottage Stay

The cottage was clean and well appointed. Our family enjoyed our stay. The cottage and its furnishings were rustic and enjoyable. Having 5 children under the age of 10 gave us some challenges as the furnishings in the cottage were somewhat fragile. As the cottage is heated with fuel oil, there was a slight fuel oil odor in the kitchen and mud room areas. It was our only complaint.

Generally a very nice place

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cottage . A bit musty smelling but otherwise very clean. Possible fireplace ashes might have been the cause of the musty smell. We ran out of paper towels. The setting is very rustic and beautiful.

Beautiful, historic home

We had a wonderful stay in this home! Three different families stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. Living room and screen porch were delightful and the kids LOVED the bunk room, including the excellent selection of children’s books. The outside space was also fantastic. Lots of room for kids to run around. There were a few places where the house was not quite as clean as we would have liked, but it’s also a very old home in the woods with tons of character, so some dust, dirt, and bugs was to be expected. Overall we would highly recommend this rental and hope to stay again next summer!
