Belle, calme, champêtre sur la rivière Willamette

Nous sommes situés à Peoria, dans l'Oregon sur la rivière Willamette. Nos spacieuses (600sq ft) trimestres avec sa propre entrée est privée située à l'extrémité nord de notre ancienne résidence grenier de 100 ans. Nous offrons de beaux jardins pour se promener, la rivière pour profiter, et la tranquillité de la vie du pays.

Ici, à l'Old River Granary il ya beaucoup de possibilités de jouer, de repos, et se détendre. Faites une promenade sur la rivière, tirer une partie de billard, ou simplement vous détendre dans le hamac par la rivière.

Sortez sur le balcon privé et de voir à la fois le lever du soleil sur les montagnes Cascade et coucher de soleil sur la plage de la côte. Vues varient avec les saisons.

Corvallis, la maison de l'Oregon State University, est situé à seulement 10 minutes et offre une ambiance conviviale de la ville de la maison avec une variété de magasins, restaurants de bord du fleuve et un merveilleux marché de producteurs (avril-novembre) avec des produits frais locaux, fruits, fleurs, miel confitures, et plus encore.

Le Old Granary est vraiment un petit coin de paradis, loin du stress de la vie quotidienne. Nous pensons que votre séjour à la rivière Guest Quarters sera une expérience inoubliable ... et nous vous souhaitons la bienvenue!

Lovely Riv Spot!

Me and my 2 friends had a lovely time staying here :) We spent almost the entire day on that couch overlooking the riv. So peaceful and relaxing, I loved it here. It felt much more like a real home than any other vacation rental I've ever stayed in! Loved all the comfy sitting areas, the bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, everything was clean and comfortable and great :) Thanks so much guys! We had a great time!

Wonderful hosts in a lovely setting.

My partner and I paddled up to the property, spent two nights and then paddled on! Hosts let me drop off food in advance, and we're incredibly lovely. The view was so serene and restful.

Comfy and cozy spot on the River.

We loved staying at The RiverHouse! The property was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked full of things to use for cooking our meals. We will stay again. Gregg and Kathy were wonderful hosts and check in was effortless.

Peace and beauty

A lovely, quiet place with superb river access and enough blackberries to stuff yourself and all your friends. Kathy and Gregg are welcoming and helpful hosts too.

Paradise at the Riverhaus!

Our best VRBO experience, by far! The Riverhaus is the perfect place to stay while enjoying all of what the Willamette valley has to offer. Quietly nestled in Peoria along the Willamette River, this cottage is a rare find. It’s well cared for, clean, comfortable, has incredible views and the hosts are terrific!

Amazing!

This property is simply amazing. The interior of the rental is warm and inviting and the river access makes this place a true gem! The owners Kathy and Gregg were the icing on top. Very welcoming and treated us like family. A must for any vacation in this area!

Quiet and relaxing stay

We visited Corvallis and Eugene for college tours, and this spot was just the absolute perfect place to come back to after busy afternoons on campus. Quiet, well stocks, super comfy and clean... and the owners are just the most helpful and sweet. I will be back!!

A piece of paradise.

Beautiful well equipped suite with beautiful comfortable furnishings. Big deck looking at river with a small rare river bottom forest with huge trees. Hosts are wonderful, pleasant and very helpful. A truly splendid place.

If you love nature, big trees and simply relaxing and watching the river flow we invite you to book with us. Our little town10 miles away offers an array of food at various restaurants as well as shopping, hiking, walking, and biking. If you prefer to stay on the property we have miles of open farmland to walk and bike with little to no traffic. Once you shop at the markets in town and prefer to not eat out the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your home cooked meal.

Lovely, quiet stay by the river.

We stayed here over a long weekend and loved it! The grounds are just gorgeous with all of the blooming plants and, of course, the river just adds to the beauty. We sat by it every evening. Kathy and Gregg were so kind and accommodating with our toddler daughter, even offering us apple pie (it was delicious). The bed is very comfortable and the rooms stayed cool even in 100+ heat. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Quiet location

My daughter and I were in Oregon for events in Eugene, and booked the Riverhaus. Very quiet location between Corvallis and Eugene that worked well for what we needed. The unit is in a beautiful location overlooking the river with beautiful gardens/yard. We enjoyed listening to the birds while sitting on the deck.

It was so exciting that the University of Oregon was chosen to host the world track and field meet. This is the first time the United States has ever hosted a world track and field meet, so amazing that it was held here in Oregon. So glad our guests got to witness this event while enjoying their stay at the Riverhaus.

Relaxing home base near Corvallis

My sons and I stayed here for a hiking & exploring trip around Corvallis and the coastline. Kathy and Gregg have an amazing property and could not be more pleasant and accommodating. The apartment is homey, clean & interesting and splashing around in the river after a long day of hiking & sightseeing can’t be beat. Book this spot with confidence and enjoy your stay…. We certainly did! : )

Relax and unwind

Such a peaceful piece of paradise. Well stocked, with lots of windows. This is a very cozy, relaxing unit; a perfect place to unwind. Easy drive to Corvallis and Newport. We were blessed with beautiful fall weather so it was nice to take advantage of all the Willamette Valley has to offer. There is an easy river walk in downtown Corvallis near OSU, great restaurants, plus many wineries.

We have been blessed with our peaceful home on the river. We love sharing our guest apartment and try to provide all the things that make it homey and relaxing. Our little town of Corvallis is such a jewel we never tire of walking around, shopping , dining, hiking, walking and riding our bikes on the great bike path that goes for about 10 miles. When we want a change in weather we love that we can be at the coast in just a little over an hour. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and hope the next time you are in the Willamette Valley you will think of us.

Moved from Laguna Beach to escape the density of California and feel so blessed to have purchased this historic 100 year old granary on the 10th largest river in the United States. Country living is a dream come true.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased this property the day it went up for sale. We were walking our dogs from the home we had been renting which we intended to rent for a year before deciding to make Oregon our permanent residence. It was providential! How often does a 100 year old Granary on the water come up for sale? The rest is history

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with this unique piece of property, the old barn, the Douglas fir wood floors the wood beams and ceilings, the incredible river view the country living that provides serene and peaceful surroundings. Watching the eagles dive into the water and come up with a fish, all the species of birds right outside our windows. Relaxing in our hammock overlooking the river. Remodeling and watching all the potential this property had was an amazing journey. We fall more in love with it with each passing day and remain grateful for our lives here at the Old Granary.
