Creek view was the saving grace

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Many small issues ended up outweighing the positives of this cabin. Not having an arrival time until the day of check in made it difficult to properly plan, especially when coming from 5 hours away. I immediately noticed ants in the sink and eventually saw them on the stove and countertops, which ruined cooking the entire stay. We weren’t able to enjoy the movie room at all since the DVD nor cable was working, even after reading every instruction and following the videos. Cleanliness was an issue with cobwebs all over the fireplace, above the pool table, and dust and hair left on the floor. The view is easily the best part, but the website doesn’t accurately show just how close the other cabins are and how busy the street behind it gets. Overall, too many small things added up and I ultimately wouldn’t stay here again.

We also loved sitting on the back porch and watching and listening to the creek. It was very peaceful. There was a cabin on either side yet quiet and felt secluded. This is our new favorite cabin! We will definitely rent again. There was one thing that was bothersome and that was the wood smoke smell from the chimney. The drive to Gatlinburg was approximately 20 minutes which wasn’t bad.The management group Elk Springs- everyone that I talked to was very helpful and kind. Couldn’t ask for any better.
