Another Excellent Pas Stay

We stayed at this property over Spring Break and loved it. It’s our second time staying here. The location is perfect. We walked to the square and restaurants. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing propert

This property was absolutely amazing. The check-in process was super simple, the condo was extremely clean with updated furniture that looked amazing. The convenience of walking to the beach was perfect allowing us to easily transition the kids from the condo to the beach or back to the condo for lunch. The communication with the property manager was amazing and super simple and they were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to come to this area. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

Sweet location

Overall a nice stay.....good use a better master bedroom mattress for the cost of a nites stay....bunk mattresses were more comfy.....ice machine didnt work at all....and a box of tissues in the condo would be nice....CMON.....few other minor things could have been better for the price your charging

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lie #1 it was on the third floor instead of the 2nd floor so instead of 12 steps it was 32 and my husband ended up having heart problems. Lie #2 it was cleaned and ready, there were shorts in our room and dishes were gross. Lie #3 someone would get back to us and never did. There was other stuff but can't remember off hand.

The bathroom and and sleeping arrangements needed updating. Bed was extremely uncomfortable with major dip in bed. The pull out couch look and felt 20 yrs old. The bunk beds that were makeshifted were just not at our standards of comfort. My kids felt like they were in a closet doors included. Bathrooms need updating as well. They need to invest alittle more into their property. I would not recommend to stay again.

Loved the Palms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Palms! It was nice, clean, & a perfect location! The management company responded quickly when we needed batteries for the tv remote & frequently checked on us during our stay. The only issue is the living room tv. There is no type of cable service & we could only watch old tv rerun stations. They definitely need to update this because we encountered some rain during our stay. The bedroom tv was great with multiple channel programs. Overall, it was great!

Basic and Very Clean Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been renting at The Palms and using Benchmark/Garrett for decades. This was the most out-dated unit I have stayed on this property. Benchmark is a wonderful company and helpful when needs arise. However, I am shocked that they represent this unit. The pros of this unit include the cleanliness of the condo and supplies provided in the kitchen. The kitchen and bathroom are in desperate need of updating. The master bath was missing 3 drawers. The shower did not work at first due to algae build-up. Benchmark was diligent and timely in getting it fixed. The master bedroom wicker bed frame had broken pieces. The bed is in desperate need of replacing as well. There is a large lump in the middle. The internet strength is weak; I could only get it to work in the main living area. The plastic chairs on the patio were constantly being blown to one side and on top of each other due to the wind. If you are not concerned about aesthetics and frills, and want a simple condo on the beach, you will have a clean one with this unit.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several items that just weren’t quite up to our standard. For example, I got cold on the first night and sought out a blanket, and the one I found had a blood stain on it. Also, the wi-fi was very unreliable and insecure. In addition, the ice dispenser on the refrigerator did not work, and the water filter needed to be replaced. The bed was also very uncomfortable, and it hurt to sleep on it. There were some other smaller things, such as a drain plug not working right and a creepy insect I found in the bathroom.I was glad to see there was in-unit laundry, but there was no detergent available for guests. That may be very nit-picky of me, but I feel like most places will offer that as an amenity for its guests.When we arrived to the property, the code that we were given to the door wasn’t working. Thankfully, there was a guest services professional who was able to administer a new, correct code remotely. I was glad that someone was able to promptly fix our issue but disappointed that it happened in the first place.Other than all of these things, it was generally fine, but we were still pretty disappointed overall. I have travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of different properties, and I typically leave great reviews and have great experiences. I don’t usually leave sub-optimal reviews on vacation properties, but I felt like this stay warranted one. Even more disappointing that this was my husband and my anniversary.Thankfully, these issues are fixable, and if they are fixed, we might consider staying here again. We love The Palms because it has a well-kept exterior, terrific beach access, and is just a walk or bike away from great restaurants.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived around 2:00pm so we drove around to local shops. We called Garrett Realty to ask if it was possible to check in early. They texted us around 3:00pm and said the room was ready. We drove all the way to the property only to find it was locked. We tried calling and no one answered. So we had to sit outside the room for over an hour with a toddler. Extremely frustrating. I doubt I will book with Garrett again, I have had way better experiences with VRBO. The room definitely needs some work. Many things need to be fixed.

So close to everything but just in the right area you didn’t have all the crowds. Our view was hardly ever blocked by other beach goers. We did not end up using the rental credit provided but loved that we had the option. Also very grateful for the vendor recommendations for various beach items/activities. We gave Chip from Beach Chairs 4 U a call after his business was recommended by Benchmark and we could not have asked for a better business to rent beach chairs and umbrellas from!! Thank you Benchmark for allowing us to have a stress-free vacation!

Not great.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I knew the place wouldn't be luxurious when we booked since it was cheaper than the other places, but the TV went out several times, the internet only worked the first day and the last day and the air conditioning would not get below 73 during the day. We did like the location and proximity to the beach.

Nice and close to the beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice condo and we have stayed here before but it needs updating. There weren't many kitchen supplies. I love the management company- we had an issue with the air and they were there and had it fixed in an hour. And we loved that it is very close to the beach.

very disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this very unit before 5 years ago and this time we were very disappointed. The lock didn't work for most of our stay. The bed in the main room is very uncomfortable. The overall look of the condo was very run down
