Great Accomodations

Quiet neigborhood. Spacious house. Clean. Host left beer and wine and was always available to answer our stupid questions. Would never be able to find house without Google Maps, but that's what makes the neighborhood so quiet. Would recommend highly.

Great stay in a spacious house

We had a great stay at this house with our big family, including 5 kids! The home is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The bedrooms were large, and the beds were comfy, which made for a restful stay. The pool was a huge hit with both the kids and adults, and we really enjoyed spending time outside. The covered patio outdoor space was fantastic.The location was also great- convenient to nearby attractions, and the neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Our host was responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.That said, the house and furniture could use some love and care. While everything was functional, some updates and maintenance would really enhance the experience.Overall, we had a wonderful time snd truly enjoyed our stay. With a little TLC, this home could be absolutely perfect!

Disappointing

On the plus side: spacious home, quiet neighborhood, good wifi,no bugs. 15 minutes from everything.. Comfortable beds. Owner left wine and beer. On the negative side: Not professionally cleaned for our arrival, home needed MANY repairs and updates, Furniture was a collection of tag sale items and was very uncomfortable. Essentially, no TV unless you could connect, by Roku, to your home cable Netflix provider. I could not recommend this property....at any price. Owner agreed with my review and indicated he would make changes. (???)

Host very responsive… great location

House was centrally located to all areas . Downtown WPB, Delray, Lake Worth, beaches etc. Owner was supper responsive and quick to resolve an issue brought to him. The farmers market with açaí, fresh pressed juices, salads and smoothies .5 miles away huge bonus!! Neighbors friendly great hidden area. House in need of TLC, immaculately clean, but dated. Beds comfy, only one set of sheets per bed, tough when stays are longer then a week. Showers/water pressure , hot water great, lack of towels for number of guests, not great quality. Washer /dryer in decent condition and worked well. Kitchen has new appliances. Furniture in living room needs to be updated not the most comfortable. Lots of chairs, nothing really comfy… Great WI-FI service, we worked from house during our month stay, we brought our own fire sticks but the roku’s and tv’s are great.. Outside back is nice,nothing comfy to sit on, lots of chairs, 2 lounge chairs but no cushions, no towels for pool or trips to beach or beach chairs. Pool is fine.. All in all a good place to stay, Owner super responsive, and immaculately clean!

Horrible, Dirty, Old, Smells, mold, BEWARE needs renovation

Horrible property! Could not even stay for one single night after booking for more then two weeks. Dirty, not maintained, pictures online don't truly depict the property. Needs renovation in addition to deep cleaning. HVAC did not cool properly, was warm and humid. Smells bad, made our eyes red and itchy inside, we went outside and our eyes stopped itching and cleared up. Dirtiest air filter I have ever seen, caked on. Furniture was all stained, needed to be all replaced. NOT AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES, perhaps pictures taken 10 or more years ago. VRBO was no help with rebooking and had to stay in a hotel entire time (paying double for my stay) while my SO recovered from major surgery. Host was nice initially but then unhelpful when bringing up issues and concerns. BEWARE!!! I double this review will stay up but hopefully!!!!

I am sorry that you felt the exact opposite of what the previous renter felt just a week earlier. To show the effort put on by my part, you know that I brought a wheelchair in case you need for your wife’s surgery. I called the a/c company when you asked for it. They said there is nothing wrong with the a/c, and recommended filter changes with every new guest. If I knew that your son had allergies, I would have kept a stack of filters. I will do that from now on. March is also the allergy season. Just to be sure, I have changed the cleaning company. Hope your wife recovered well after surgery.

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Was’ house for ten days while visiting his mom and sister. The house was very clean and was confident everything was sanitized. The main highlight of our stay was the outside amenities! We are from Michigan so I was a little bit concerned about swimming in a unheated pool in April - I am a chicken and most hotel pools are just not warm enough for me. However, I walked right in and swam! We swam every day - morning swims, mid day swim breaks and leisurely evening swims! I have to work a few days while we were down there and I enjoyed taking business calls from the back porch. It didn’t even feel like work as I was sitting there at the lush backyard and the glimmering pool. We had a great time exploring the backyard as well a lot of different plants and trees. We have an app on our phone that we were able to identify everything that was in the backyard - I was blown away at the size of the coconut tree and jackfruit tree. I also picked carrots from the front garden to go with our dinner one evening. My husband and I are already talking about possibly coming back in the fall and if we do we definitely want to see if the house is available again.

The pool was broke. No happy about that! Also the jetted tub was full of mold when you turned it on.

The house was nice but some things needed attention.

The pool is not broken, but the water level was a little low. It is always maintained by a professional pool company. Some jets in the tub are rarely used. That may be what you noticed. Sorry about that.

Nice home

The house was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Never was able to use the pool because it’s on heated but it was beautiful and the guys kept it up. Loved the backyard. The house had a wide variety of furniture! Loved the neighborhood! It was quiet and had the best produce store that I have seen in Florida at the end of the road.

GREAT RENTAL

This rental is just like pictured. Spacious rooms with a great pool. I had read the reviews and yes it could use a little work but that will not change the fun and enjoyment that we all had. We had our kids over to use pool, change clothes in one bedroom, and have had lunch and dinner at the house and had room to spare. Back porch was covered from that hot Florida sun. Plenty of fruit trees in the yard. Having three toilets was great also when we had guests. We had a great time. Will rent again.

Was a gorgeous house furniture was real out of date, microwave did not work, pool light and jets to filter did not work as well but did contact the owner about a pool cleaning and within 24 hours it was done. Quick response overall enjoyed my stay very much. Very peaceful relaxing place, very spacious as well

Nice house but needs more attention from owner

The house itself is very nice and it is in a quiet neighborhood. There are some maintenance issues that prevent me from giving it 5 stars: (1) The pocket door in the master bathroom does not move freely and something like sawdust gets deposited on the floor each time it is opened or closed; (2) The shower in the MBR gets warm but not hot; (3) The door of the hallway closet falls off if you try to close it; (4) The kitchen is poorly equipped, with the pans so scratched that I could not use them; (5) Three of the four light bulbs in the hall bathroom were missing. I have spoken to the owner about these issues and he has agreed to address them.

Good space

The house was clean and spacious . We enjoyed sitting outside under the overhang overlooking the pool. The property was very conveniently located nearby family and was a short ride to the lovely public beach , nature trails , stores and restaurants.

Family Vacation

It was a great place to stay for a family vacation. Very spacious and clean. The owner was attentive when contacted. The owner appears to be working on the property but there are a few things that needs a bit more attention. However, nothing that would not inhibit me from renting this property again. Thank you for a great time with my family.

March Break getaway

Our visit was cut short due to the pandemic, so we did’t get a lot of time to enjoy the property and the area as planned. In spite of this, we had a great small break, and made use of the pool for hours. Most impressed by the owner, who was very understanding about needing to cut short our vacation. He provided us a refund, prorated for the time we were there. We will be going back.
