Turtle Cove Hot Tub/Heated Pool in Historic Delray
Charming home with excellent location one mile away from the beach and one mile away from beautiful Atlantic Ave in Delray Beah. Clubs, pubs, restaurants, the beach, and everything Delray Beach has to offer is close enough to walk, yet far enough to be quiet. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a wonderful outdoor shower. The pool area is very comfortable and spacious. Come on in and enjoy the South Florida lifestyle.
My husband and I stayed for a month. The house was very comfortable, walking distance to Pineapple grove, Atlantic Ave, and other stores and restaurants. The backyard was great with a nice pool and jacuzzi. Its a quiet, safe neighborhood and the host was very responsive to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay!
Communication with the host was very easy and he was very responsive. Linens and house furnishings very tired and not the âbeachyâ look that appeared in photos. Dark rugs in the living room and kitchen, dark sofa. Kitchen was quirky - dishwasher on the opposite side of the kitchen as sink. No full size fridge. Listing does not show any exterior photos of the house itself - was not what I was expecting. Large wheel chair ramps in the front and the back. Appreciate that there were coolers, beach chairs, etc. but feel like there was lots of clutter on the porch and in the house. Might be better off in a storage shed. Pool was very pretty, very clean. Pool temp itself was very chilly for Dec/Jan. And we were unable to adjust. Told by host it would warm up, but it did not. Hot tub/spa great, but had to reach out to host each time you wanted to use. Decent location. 2 houses in from an interesection.
Positives to this property:1. Location:it is very close to the beach and downtown Delray which we loved and the neighborhood was very nice as well!!2. Backyard:Having the pool on property was our kids favorite! we spent a lot of the day outside by the pool tho we did not have access to alter the temperature of the pool which was a bummer.3. CommunicationCould be better:1: The first issue was beyond anyones control but we arrived on the property at 9:30 PM the day we checked it. We were traveling from the Orlando area so we arrived later than intended. We noticed upon entering the house was a bit warm however we just assumed it was because the thermostat was set to 73 so we lowered it to 68. As the following day progressed we realized there was something indeed wrong with the AC. I contacted the home owners immediately and because the owners were away and their WIFI service wasn't the best they did not have access to the themostat app. However they did contact their HVAC guy & we contacted ours as well & did a walk through of the thermostat as well as the outside unit. Thankfully the following afternoon there was a repair man there to fix the problem as the temperature was in the low 80's. 2: I'm not sure if the house was musty smelling due to the AC being down or lack of visitors/air circulation but the house was very musty smelling and actually left our clothes smelling.I think if the property was visited before our arrival the issues would have been handled
The pool was a perfect temperature....and clean and well cared for. The hot tub took an hour to heat up but was wonderful when it reached temperature. The backyard is a little oasis. The master bed was comfy....loads of towels....we stayed for a month so used the kitchen a LOT...could use some more cookware, but otherwise fine for 2 people. Close to great bakeries...Publix.....mini golf...and a pretty easy walk to the beach !! ......Francesco was a great host...helping with issues in a very timely manner, and just a genuine lovely person. We would love to stay again!
Great stay! Fantastic location! The house was warm, comfortable & well equipped. Loved the pool & appreciated the easy communication with the hosts. Weâd stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
Great backyard. Nice pool and hot tub with comfy lounge furniture. Backyard is private and nicely maintained. The kitchen also has an ice maker freezer which was really nice with the hot weather for keeping drinks cold. Washer/dryer is in the house. Easy walk to Atl Ave which was about 10-15 min max. Francisco was easy to communicate with and quickly to answer.
House was well stocked with essentials and exactly as listing described. Backyard and pool area was the highlight of our trip as it is the perfect place to wind down and end your day. Location was excellent for beach and downtown del ray is full of shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend. Francisco was a wonderful host, responding to my questions in a very timely manner. Would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I spent 9 nights at this property in May. The property is very well located. Easy walk to the beach, grocery store and all the stores and restaurants along Atlantic Blvd. The house is well-equipped. Francisco was very responsive to our questions. He went above and beyond the day of check-in to remedy an issue with the outdoor Weber grill. We would stay at this property again without hesitation.
This little bungalow is perfect for a small family wanting a quiet space to relax outside of the hustle and traffic of downtown Delray. It's a gem! Francisco was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We walked a mile to the beach and less than a mile to downtown. Amazing pool and spa! Lots of supplies available in the home for cooking.
Loved this cozy little home :) ⊠only wish the 1 1/2 bath was accurate ⊠it is just an outside shower :( ⊠location was excellent for our needs and backyard is a true oaisis :)
My family enjoyed 4 nights at turtle Cove recently. It was a very nice place, and the host provided excellent communication. The pool and hot tub were great, other than that nothing too fancy but very good value!
Lovely house in a overall good location in Delray. Unfortunate that we were not able to control the heating for the pool/hot tub - a reason why we chose the property but the beds were comfy and kitchen was well appointed.
The house was fantastic! The backyard is an oasis. We loved the pool and hot tub. The house was very well maintained and had lots of amenities. Francisco was super friendly. The wifi wasn't working and Francisco drove from Miami in a rain storm to fix it that day. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to be back soon.
My husband and I spent two weeks at Turtle Cove in Delray Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great, close to the beach and Atlantic Avenue but still very quiet. We loved the pool and hot tub and the garden surrounding it was well kept and beautiful.
We were so lucky to the have hosts we had for this location. They were so responsive, and we could tell they wanted our stay to be very comfortable and enjoyable.

This was a perfect place for my family and I for our Spring break vacation. Pictures are very accurate and the place was also very clean when we arrived. The backyard is like an oasis. The pool and hot tub are very clean and itâs beautiful lit up at night. My kids were in the hot tub and pool every morning. And the screened porch is a nice spot to sit and drink your coffee or relax at night. Everything is close in driving distance from the public beach to Atlantic Avenue to walk around and explore all the shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and hope to go back next spring break.
Well maintained and clean residence with a fabulous, large back yard that we enjoyed very much. Good location accessible to yet beyond the noise and crowds of Atlantic Ave. The outdoor shower was nice but it isn't a second bathroom. Would have liked more storage room and space for our stuff.
Francisco is a Software Engineer and Elena is an accomplished Seamstress and Designer. Francisco was born and raised in Lima-Peru and moved in his late teens to the USA. Francisco went to FAU for his Computer Engineering degree and MBA. Elena was born and raised in Yekaterinburg-Russia and went to Fashion and Design College there. They met in West Palm Beach and fell in love with each other and in love with the area. Between the two of us, we speak English, Russian and Spanish.
We were looking for a property like this in Delray Beach for about one year until this property turned up. We LOVE Delray Beach, especially the Historic District where this property is located. This property was the classic fixer upper that had been neglected for some time. We took it upon ourselves to fix it and make it homie. We will eventually move to this property and spend the rest of our days together.
One mile away to the south is Atlantic Avenue, close enough to walk to the noise and movement, yet far enough to be quiet. One mile away to the east across the Intracoastal bridge you will find one of the most beautiful beaches South Florida has to offer. Both within walking distance and with beautiful sightseeing along the way.
