We had a fantastic time celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday!

The pool area and hot tub are amazing. The pool is larger in person than what it looks like in the photos. The hot tub is really top of the line and was a highlight of the weekend. The house, while a little smaller than expected, had some great features and was perfect for our group. The beds are also very comfy, even the bunk beds!

Great space in central Dallas

The spacious bedrooms met our needs perfectly and the beds were incredibly comfortable!! The pool was clean, refreshing and the highlight of our stay. One drawback... If we were there to only relax, the horrendous traffic noise from the nearby highway would have been an issue. The property manager was very accommodating and really cared about us having a comfortable stay. All in all, we had a wonderful time and will seek this property if we’re ever in Dallas again. .

The house did not meet the standards I have come to expect from VRBO. Upon entering the home, the front door (doorframe) became dislodged and was unable to be properly locked. We had to push furniture in front of the door that evening to ensure our safety. The door had been "repaired" before but obviously was not repaired but patched. We also opened a few cabinets in the kitchen and the drawers fell off the tracks. We also experienced a leaking refrigerator later that evening and had to place several towels on the floor. I reached out to the VRBO contact, though apologetic, sent a repairman out the following day and patched the doorframe (same screws and same holes)... thus WILL happen again. Lastly, I reached out again to the VRBO contact BEFORE publishing this review to see if we could be reimbursed for the first night (not the whole stay). This was 2 weeks ago and have not heard back... I would not book this property. I remain disappointed and expect more from VRBO.

We did not have access to the pool the whole time we were there there were no chemicals in it, and there was no running pump. All of the metal around the pool was cracked, and the pool was filthy. We did not have access to the Jacuzzi until the last day because it was all cold water and there was a leak and there was no water in it when we arrived just dirty water sitting at the bottom. The beds were amazing and very comfortable. The kitchen cabinets hinges were broken. The carpet was filthy. The refrigerator had water pouring out of it. A couple times a day. Customer service was very nice. Still waiting to hear back on our reimbursement for the property as the pictures did not match what was shown once we got there. Deck cushions were soaking wet and the chairs dry rotted so we couldn't lounge I would never recommend staying there to anyone After driving 10 hours, we could not wait to get in the hot tub and we could not as it was broken and no water was in it Please let us o ow about reimbursement

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced during your stay. We were not informed of any issues with the deck during your visit, and we hope your companion has since recovered from the accident. Had we been made aware of these issues, we would have addressed them immediately. We did attempt to resolve the WIFI and TV issues, but we did not receive further updates from you. We would have gladly assisted further if we had known the problem persisted. Nevertheless, we have ensured our maintenance team has checked and fixed the WIFI, TV, and deck to ensure everything is in working order for future guests. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to improve our services. We hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

Asher is great and very quick to respond.

Asher is fantastic he made multiple accommodations for us. Hot tub is very nice and clean and pool is spotless. Very large yard and deck. House is nice. I am 6’2 and felt the furniture was a little low but comfortable. It was great to have the smart TV and direct TV as well. House had everything you could need. Only issue is the area. There are a lot of homeless near by. I think this is a problem in Dallas right now not just in this specific area. There were a lot of border issues going on while we were there so that was a bit of a issue as well. But none of that is something Asher can control.

Frustrating Getaway: Our Troubled Stay at the Vacation Rental

I spent the duration of our trip emailing & speaking with VRBO support whom were pleasant and understanding of the despair we were in. A quick overview, pay attention to what you see in the photos & remember normal wear from the time of the pictures to when you are in the home. This rental is ideal for a large family with kids to stay together. This isn’t an IG-photo worthy home. I won't bore you with the high volume of emails regarding your guest, cars, and visitors. Fast-Forward to day of arrival, we were granted early arrival (1 hour early) after the cleaning crew finished only to find a plethora of cleaning issues, primarily the jacuzzi being unsanitary. The filters were clogged, almonds and beer can tops lined the bottom of the tub. The pool area has its fair share of wear and tear also. Please be aware of this as you use these items. On top of the cleaning issues, the home was extremely hot at the time we entered, which should have been shortly after the scheduled cleaning. Only to find the A/C unit had failed. For the sake of brevity, three technicians and a hot night’s rest later the A/C was fixed 24 hours after check-in. The icing on this situation comes with the fact that I was notified at 6am on the day of our departure that a pool person would be on site to resolve the Jacuzzi issue. Which, obviously, was of not benefit to us. As mentioned earlier, the VRBO support team were able to rectify the situation and compensate us for our frustrating getaway.

Our professional cleaning team typically maintains high standards, and we regret that this was not reflected during your visit. We have since conducted a thorough inspection of the property, completed necessary improvements, and performed a deep clean of the jacuzzi. Maintenance team has confirmed that the A/C has been fixed. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to further enhance our services and guest experience.
