Clean, roomy, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Great communication with house manager. Easy to find key and get in. Good controls for AC, fans, lights. A few small housekeeping things - One stove burner is malfunctioning. Master bath didn't have a trash can. Blender doesn't work. Rugs inside doors to catch sand would be helpful - let renters know to bring them.
I had no idea a place on the water so quiet existed so close to major cities on the East Coast. It was perfect and the house itself was as amazing as the photos
Myself, sister and brother in law were looking for a couple of days away with nothing to do. This house was perfect and the beach views are unbelievable. We will definitely be coming back to this house.
Great little house with everything you need. The view and beach are everything!! Close enough to fishing, boardwalk, restaurants and all the tourist attractions but far enough to just quietly enjoy nature if that's what you like!! We did both and had an awesome week. Definitely planning on booking for next year.
Beautiful home with amazing views of the bay especially from two of the bedrooms. The high ceilings made the house feel spacious. Broadkill Beach is always so relaxing. Many of the beach accesses were washed out but the beach access from this house was intact. We were able to walk several miles at a time and only see a few people. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
The house is almost as beautiful as the views. The amount of room was perfect for our group. There were stinging jellyfish in the water which was kind of a downer. My daughter was stung multiple times but the beach was awesome and peaceful. We brought two small dogs with us and it was perfect for them as well. The only inconveniences were the wifi constantly cutting out and the house key situation
The house was beautiful. It had everything we needed to have a great stay. We saw dolphins and a lot of wild life. Ships and barges were in the distance the entire week. We went to Dog fish head brewery which was quite impressive. We went in April, our dog was able to come he could be on the beach with us, and that contributed to making the stay great. The bay makes for less rough water, however the water was very murky. Great place!
Our stay was terrific and the house was great. I just have a few repairs suggestions â most of the bikes are in need of repair, the oar to the paddle board was broke and the shades in the kitchen and living room were not working. Other than the suggestions, it was awesome.

An absolutely perfect Place for our late summer getaway! The house is beautiful...everything feels new and bright and yet still comfortable and cozy. Sweeping views of the water from almost everywhere in the house. The beach is right outside the back door, and the location gives you loads of space and distance without feeling isolated. The Bay was awesome for kayaking, and seeing dolphins everyday was icing on the cake!
I have never stayed in a home so close to the ocean, and this is why I selected this home to rent for our vacation. The home was absolutely beautiful and contemporary. It was completely stocked with everything we needed. Every morning I would get up and walk down a short trail to take my morning walk on the beach, it was extremely beautiful and relaxing, a perfect way to decompress. For fun We went to Rehoboth beach for lunch and explored all of the shops on the boardwalk and had fun exploring Lewes.
We would highly recommend.
We love waking up to the thrum of the waves. As soon as our youngest graduates we are going to get very serious about spending most every weekend there, but until then we have commitments most weekends and can't get there. When we can't be there, we love to share it, and enjoy it vicariously through you!
Sandcastle, our dream beach house, sits squarely on the sand with great water views. We love the outdoor living made possible by the large deck . Have your morning coffee on the deck and look for dolphins. Run with your dog on our pristine, pet friendly beach. Forgot your towel? Take a few steps back in and grab it! Rainy day and winter day views of the sand and water are spectacular too. Snow geese and harbor seals frequent our beach in the winter.
You will love the proximity to surf and sand, grilling on the great deck, having access to beach equipment, toys, double kayak, and bikes for exploring this quaint, natural beach town and the nearby Primehook Nature Preserve! Itâs like stepping into a charming past. Youâve found a well kept secret here!!
