Everywhere was neat and tidy and clean overall and well stocked with crockery, cutlery etc. We did buy egg cups for boiled eggs and a shower mat to avoid slipping in the shower cubicle.We did have to chase the host for the booking form, sent in a format which I couldn't fill in and it caused us a few problems.The cottage was in the perfect spot for the sea view, car park (for which we bought a week's parking pass for each week we stayed) all the town's amenities and travel options.We would be very happy to stay there again.

We moved the table from the middle of the lounge back into the kitchen area but was no hassle The property was lovely and clean apart from the wooden floor downstairs it had been swept but not washed and was extremely dirty Prefer location to everything in Sheringham and the local buses were very cheap and we travelled to other villages The food in the restaurants was good as well as the take aways If you love charity shops you will be in heaven We had a lovely time over the week and the beach was great for the dog.

Disappointed to arrive and have rubbish all around the back door, main floor needs a good wash, lounge furniture not very comfortable, the cottage is situated well and we did enjoy the area.

Great little cottage in a central location. Beds were comfy. Lovely shower. Good kitchen facilities. The only issue was the parking situation. Small car park behind the cottage which costs 46.50 for a full week, but no guarantee of a space if you go out for the day. Parking in public car parks is about 11 a day, so if you go out for the day, you are basically paying double car parking fees. N.B. Obviously this is not anything to do with the cottage itself.

Comfortable seaside cottage

A very comfortable cottage with lovely sea views to the rear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The cottage is well situated, very close to the sea front and also adjacent to the main shopping street with restaurants pubs, and a supermarket nearby.

Fantastic Fisherman's Cottage

Sheringham is well worth visiting. I found the cottage to be very well presented, equipped and in a perfect centralised location. Car parking was never an issue! Highly recommend!

A little gem

Lovely cottage, close to all amenities, amazing view in top bedroom of the sea. Bedrooms good size, beds super comfy nice and clean, kitchen, has everything you need, comfy chairs and settee. Love the quirky stairs. Parking nice and easy Definitely stay again, so sad to leave.

Delightful house, right in the centre of a seaside town with more depth of history than many.

Very bright, well equipped, clean little house in a very good position, modernised to a very high standard. No complaint, but the bathroom door is hard to close as it catches on the carpet binder at the bottom - probably easily fixed.

Nice clean property, everything you need on your doorstep..only minus to this property was low ceiling in top bedroom ,carpark outside back door and the road outside front door, so bit noisy at times..

Lovely cottage, great location

We had a lovely week at Crab cottage. It was in a great location next to the sea promenade. We stayed with our two spaniels, whilst there were areas on the promenade and beaches that were restricted for dogs, there was a beach 5 minutes walk east accessible at low tides. Plenty of beautiful walks from Sheringham to Cromer, Sheringham Park etc.. Found free car parking on the Esplanade. Crab cottage had everything we needed with shops, restaurants and dog friendly pubs nearby. Cottage was quirky, with comfy beds and roomy powerful shower, also the stair gate provided was great for keeping dogs downstairs.

5th Sheringham visit

Everything we expected and a little more. Seating in lounge fine but after a time a little uncomfortable. Maybe a more modern type of arm chair with softer cushions. Unfortunately we have a bed settee at home and after a time a little hard on the old bum. Kitchen well appointed and practical. Bedrooms very good. Bathroom A1. Location could not be better and the car park ideal, could see thd car at all times from the back windows. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely little cottage in the heart of Sheringham

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage. It is a really lovely and well-equipped cottage that is close to the beach and to the shops and pubs. Because of its central location, parking can be a little difficult at peak times, but if you buy a parking ticket for a week (about £35) the same ticket can be used in more than one car park. In the week that we were there we found a space in the closest car park every day except one - the next closest car park was only a couple of minutes walk away. A word of warning - the ceiling of the bedroom on the top floor is only just high enough for someone 5'8" (without shoes on) to stand in the central area (and lower where the roof slopes), so that bedroom may not be ideal for taller people. Overall it is a fabulous cottage in a great location. We will be back.

Being start of the season the carpets were very dirty and stair rail was very grubby that I felt I had to wash the rail within 5 mins of being in the cottage. I washed all the cutlery as first knife I took out of drawer had old butter or cheese on it, also some of the glasses had to be rewashed.On the positives the beds were clean and and comfortable, and the cottage was very ideal for the shops and pubs.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring North Norfolk. Being so central meant everything was on your doorstep. Not anything as noisy as I though it might be. Very quiet from late evening to mid morning. Accommodation was excellent and the sea breeze kept things cool at night, despite the heatwave.
