Mon mari a construit cette maison de plain-pied sur 2 600 pieds carrĂ©s. Avec sa formation en menuiserie, il a clouĂ© chaque panneau de bois encadrant lui-mĂȘme les cinq puits de lumiĂšre et l'Ă©clairage encastrĂ©. J'ai conçu l'intĂ©rieur avec des thĂšmes de San Diego dans chaque chambre. Nos trois enfants adorent la salle Legoland, la salle Safari Park / Zoo, la table de billard et la table de ping-pong. Nous espĂ©rons que le vĂŽtre aussi! Vous apprĂ©cierez la cuisine extĂ©rieure Grill & DREAM avec sa gamme DCS surdimensionnĂ©e - parfaite pour les fĂȘtes! Non seulement il y a une allĂ©e pour 4 voitures, mais il y a aussi beaucoup de stationnement dans la rue. Vous allez adorer tous les espaces ouverts bien amĂ©nagĂ©s que cette maison a Ă  offrir!

Fun home for adults

Great home to spend time with family. Had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Celebrated our daughter's 21st with a few family members which made the whole experience memorable. Everyone enjoyed staying here, we were never bored with all the fun games the hosts provided. If we are staying in the area again we will book here again!

the perfect house and location

I rented Tim's home for a small mom's retreat and was so glad I chose this place over others! The home was spotlessly clean (and I'm picky) and has the perfect layout for a small retreat or a family gathering - you don't feel like you're on top of each other and everyone has their own space. The yard is big and beautiful with lots of privacy and seating, to just chill around the fire pit or eat at the big family-style table. The location is also perfect, we went to Old Towne, The Little Italy Mercato, Balboa Park, Coronado and of course the airport and it was easy and quick to get everywhere. I would absolutely rent Tim's home again for another trip!

Great Family home

This home was perfect for us and our two daughters families. Clean & convenient to everything we needed. We loved the large great room. We could always see where the little kids were. Plenty of space for them to hang on the floor & do puzzles & play games. We also loved the backyard for the young kids to play in. Everything was perfect. Neighborhood was quiet at night. Kitchen was large & had everything we needed. All in all, one of the most perfect family homes!

San Diego New Year’s

Driving up to the property, we were a little apprehensive about the neighborhood. However, after entering the house we found it secure and comfortable. It is perfectly decorated and equipped with everything our 2 families needed to enjoy New Year’s. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pans, tools, dishes and silverware for making large meals ranging from a holiday ham to several batches of pancakes! All of the beds were comfy and clean and the host made sure all our teens had a place to sleep. There were plenty of clean towels for our large crew. The couch was highly rated by two tired teenagers that utilized it for their 2 hour nap. We all enjoyed the soft pillows and blankets while cuddled up by the warm fire. The ping pong, pool table, foosball, and air hockey provided excellent entertainment for everyone ranging in ages from 10- 59! It was nice to have TVs that were compatible with our devices. The backyard needs some tending to but we were mainly indoors. If our kids were younger I could see them wanting to explore a bit outside. All the bathrooms were clean and updated. If you enjoy singing in the shower the master shower will compete with you a bit. If you are planning on exploring San Diego, this property is close to many different destinations.

Great stay and location

We had a great stay at this house. We are 2 families who each have a toddler and the house was set up with 2 pack and plays and 2 high chairs which was a great benefit for us. We loved the back yard and it was a great location (less than 15 minutes from the beach, zoo and seaworld). The house was great for our needs. The bed in the master bedroom had a section with a slump in it that wasn't super comfortable, but otherwise it was good. The host had great communication, check in was easy, there were beach chairs and a couple sand toys and beach towels at the place, I would recommend this house to other families looking for a great house in San Diego.

Good enough - room for improvement

This is not a typical VRBO that we stay in. Lots of locked or cable tied cupboards . There was no where to hang clothes (the closet was locked). There were 2 suitcase stands in the master bedroom so I guess the expectation is you live out of a suitcase? The kitchen was barely functional- the only wine glasses available were plastic ones (yuck) and the cookware was slim and pretty worn out, thank god for a decent oven so I bought aluminum trays for cooking thanksgiving dinner. Compared to other VRBOs we’ve stayed in over the years I’d like to suggest that if guests are staying for 5-6 nights to provide dish washing tablets for the entire stay - not just 3! It’s only cents to the owner but it makes for a more relaxed stay for the guest. Other than that we had a good time , the living area is very conducive to family time and the games and in particular the pool table got great use.

Lots of Space but not clean :(

This property is HUGE and perfect for a big family (Family of 6 here) we stayed 4 nights over Labor day Pros: * Space * S'mores! * Game Tables (Pool, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, Etc...) * Close enough to everything within 20ish mins * Family Games * Ease of directions for how to use all Amenities Cons: * 99% of Cabinets/ Closets are pad locked so there is no storage space for you to use. * No AC but there are a few Fans * House was not "clean, clean, clean" as advertised - the following was not clean * Tub was dirty (Had a dirty footprint in it, Picture was sent to owner) * Master Bedroom smelled Horrible like Body Odor & Musk Home did not smell like it was "Professionally cleaned " as the owner said * There is a spider issue - We only went into the back yard on the first night but did not after we found Black widow Spider webs on the chairs & all around the outside of the house. Over all the experience wasn't horrible but wasn't great - it was ok. Great for anyone looking for a lot of space!

Everything was perfect and Tim was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate with and had great recommendations. The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures online. The location was great and perfect distance to everything we had planned for the weekend. Overall great experience and would stay here again!

Great space

Listing is just as described! Very open layout, good sized rooms, and large property (house and backyard) given it's in a neighborhood area. My group and I loved hanging out in the kitchen and living room area. Short 15 minute drive on the freeway to take you to all central areas in San Diego.

Spacious and plenty of entertainment!

Tim was excellent with communication and accomodating. The property was spacious with plenty of entertainment for any age group. Everyone in our family was impressed with the home. Beds were comfortable and drive way had plenty of space for parking. The neighborhood was very quite and seemed to be a very decent area. We will return to this home on our next trip if available. I highly recommend this property.

Better than the photos!

Great space for 2 adults and 2 teen boys - we had so much fun with all the amenities - was awesome to have the pool, air hockey, foozball and ping pong! The space was so airy and all the details were so well thought out with a modern, clean look. Next time we stay here, when COVID has been forced underground, we will come with our vaccinated friends, but it was such a wonderful space to bond with just immediate family. And the backyard!! Perfect private space with the gas firepit and nice furniture. Note: you can hear the hum of the freeway when outside, but it is not bothersome at all. Thank you!!

This property is well appointed for families and groups with its custom great room design. It is in a quiet neighborhood with no road noise, but still close to all the big attractions in the center of San Diego. The home has ample driveway/street parking and is privately spaced from the neighbors.
