Clean and well stocked home. Perfect place for our family of 16. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen in a rental I have ever seen. The patio area was clean and perfect for hanging out. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and all the space in the family room for the kids to play was perfect. The owners were incredibly quick to respond to questions during our stay and willing to accommodate. Would definitely stay here again.

Fourth of July Family Getaway

Lovely getaway for our family of 15. Fully stocked kitchen was great for breakfasts and burgers and dogs on the grill. Crock pot for queso on taco night. Loved the big windows for wildlife watching including mama bear and cub and a fox. Big patio and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Tubs are slippery a mat would have been appreciated. Overall, a great trip.

Great house for a large family vacation. The kids room upstairs is perfect for all the kids. Short drive to town, quiet neighborhood, and close to a hiking path.

Great house for a family retreat!

We had 11 people in our group. This house was well equipped for all ages. The whole process was made easy. The house was in a great location and well kept and very clean. We were all very excited to stay here. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Tahoe Getaway

Our stay was fantastic. We have rented MANY properties and this was by far the most outfitted for our use. A supply of all basics were included (toilet paper, paper towels, hand towels etc), but the rental also had hand soap, laundry detergent, bleach, laundry stain remover, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent and much more. In addition, they had games for the kids as well as at least two pack n plays. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were extra mini beverage fridges. We didn’t request early check in, but were made aware that the property was ready early - the whole process was a dream!

First South Shore Experience

The house was clean and well stocked. 7 bedrooms was a plus. Large homes are hard to find in the Tahoe area. The updates were tasteful and functional. I would definitely stay there again. The host was quick to respond to concerns.

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion with 12 adults and 1 toddler. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy and great area on the main floor with room for everyone to hangout, relax and eat together. The house was very clean and very well equipped. The host was wonderful to work with. Check in and check out very simple as well. I would highly recommend for a large group.

Amazing property

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Our group gathers every MLK weekend to ski. The kitchen was stocked which was so great when making meals. We checked in and felt so inviting when entering. Location was perfect. Highly recommend if you have a large group.

Great for large groups

We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday with a large party. The house was perfect. The owner thought of everything and made it super easy to find everything. The owner was responsive, easy to work with, and flexible! We can't recommend this place enough, and to top it all off, the location is perfect!

Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend

Spacious beautiful house and I loved the kitchen. We had a friends’ thanksgiving getaway and we cooked a lot and what a great gift to have everything you can think of in your kitchen.

Excellent for groups

Alternate my friends really enjoyed their stay at this very big house. Everyone has their own bed. The house is centrally located for Southlake Tahoe activities. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hot tub is awesome. The owner was very friendly and communicative. I would definitely read it again for groups.

Great accommodations for our Tahoe golf trip

The Chalet was as advertised and perfectly accommodated a group of guys for our 3 day golf trip. Location was perfect for our weekend events. The hot tub was easy to use and a welcomed amenity after running around all day. I would encourage anyone looking for a place to stay for a weekend in Tahoe to consider the property.

Great Family Trip!

We had a great time with our family and close friends at this place. Loved the different spaces for everyone to hang out in. The boys played their video games upstairs, the girls hung out in the nice cool bottom floor, the adults hung out in the main middle area, we hooked up to our Netflix, we cooked and bbqd, drank some good wine (there is a wine fridge!) and made our own cocktails. Would totally come back again! Couple of tips; bring your own beach towels if you are going to the lake areas, and bring mosquito repellent! There was a blender and crock pot, decent knives and pots and pans. Pretty much a full kitchen with utensils, and bowls etc.. They are having the air vent over the stove fixed, and the toilet paper roll in the master bedroom fixed, (super cool shower with two shower heads!) There was a lot of odd pine tree pollen? for us in early July.. not a deal breaker since all our people with allergies didn’t seem affected by it.. The property manager was really responsive and helped with the things we messaged about. Can’t beat the quality time of staying all together and hanging out. Also loved the pool table! Thanks again! :)

Our Stay at Sierra House

The only thing we should mention was both bottles of gas for the grill were empty and the grill needed a cleaning. Well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed our stay.

Family gathering for 16, ranging in age from 5-85. House was lovely and well stocked. Owner was quick to communicate and resolved an issue with the hot tub quickly. Would highly recommend!

Great Home!

Would highly recommend. Everything is exactly as listed. Two minor issues with the property: - the hot tub was locked at 90-something degrees. It wasn't straight forward to override these settings so we had to reach out to management. - The top floor doesn't get much heat. Its fine for adults but we had some infants in cribs up there and it was far too cold for them. We had to move the infants to the lower floors. Otherwise the place was great :)
