Appartement rénové pour les amoureux des belles pierres, du charme de l'ancien allié au confort moderne venant d'obtenir 3 étoiles en meublé touristique. Une cuisine équipée avec lave-vaisselle, plaque induction, four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, congélateur, cafetière, grille-pain, bouilloire. Un séjour avec canapé convertible en lit 2 personnes, fauteuils, télévision, wifi gratuit. Toutes les pièces sont équipées de prises USB murales.
L'appartement comporte 2 chambres en enfilade ( dont une avec sa salle d’eau privative) avec chacune un lit de deux personnes dont un king size, deux salles de douche, deux WC . Lave linge, fer et table à repasser à disposition.
En plein centre historique, l'appartement se situe au 3eme étage (sans ascenseur immeuble du 17e) avec une superbe vue sur la cathédrale (commerces et parkings à proximité) vous pourrez découvrir à pied tous les charmes de notre ville et les plages du débarquement "Omaha Beach" à une quinzaine de minutes en voiture.
Et pour les amateurs, superbe golf de Port en Bessin à 10 mn. Les arrivées sont prévues de 17:00 à 19:00.

Wonderful stay in charming apartment

We loved our time in Bayeux, and specifically, our home base in Bruno’s lovely apartment. Sparkling clean, comfortable, and great views. Bruno was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for your stay.

Absolutely charming

We stayed here two nights with our family of four. The apartment is amazing with modern appliances and amenities. The location is wonderful. The view of the cathedral is fantastic. Bruno is such a kind and welcoming host and he was very responsive and helped us with check-in and check out.

Great location!

Bruno was an excellent host! The apartment provided all the necessities needed for a great trip. The apartment is located just off the main shopping street. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

First trip to France

The apartment was exactly has described in the ad. Everything was clean and the view was beautiful. The three flights of stairs can be a challenge. Thank goodness Bruno was there to help with luggage. The town of Bayeux is delightful.

Over the roof!

Incredible views over the rooftops of Bayeaux to the cathedral. Would absolutely stay here again. Apartment was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Bruno was very easy and timely. The apartment is exactly as pictured and described in reviews. Like most places in France there are some stairs and low ceilings but these only add to the charm. Easy walking distance to old town for restaurants, shopping and the tapestry

Stunning Views - Great Host

The apartment is on the top floor of a historic building. Through the skylights you have a wonderful view of the cathedral while residing in a very beautiful environment. Bruno was such a great host - very responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well furnished with amenities for our stay, featuring a lovely gift of famous butter cookies. It was well worth a few flights of stairs to end up in such a lovely and well maintained apartment. We highly recommend it.

Great Host and beautiful apartment

Beautiful clean apartment very close to all commercial areas of town. Bruno was so kind, when I asked him where I could buy an American flag, he bought it for me and refused reimbursement. Great spot can’t miss with this choice. Be aware it is on the 4th floor and no elevator.

Great location, apartment and host

The apartment is located right off the Main Street of Bayeux. Beautiful and clean apartment. Only awkward part was that you had to go through 1 bedroom to get to the other, but not an issue really. The host was very nice, great at communicating and made himself available to us. I’d definitely stay again.

Wonderful Bayeux Apartment

We had a great stay at Bruno’s apartment in Bayeux. It was clean, spacious, and in a fantastic location. Bruno was very communicative, hospitable, and helpful. He pointed out grocery stores, restaurants, and other helpful hints that made our visit so easy. The pictures do not do the apartment justice—we loved it! We highly recommend Bruno’s apartment for your Bayeux trip.

Amazing apartment and host

The host Bruno could not have made our stay any better even meeting us on arrival to show us the car park. Amazing apartment on the 3rd floor of an old historic building. Expect 3 flights of original stone stairs but its worth every step when you open the door to this lovely comfortable well appointed home away from home for your stay in Bayeux. Highly recommended. Dont miss Patissiere guillaume for the croque monsieur.

Outstanding rental

Where do I start. Bruno met us at parking and walked us to rental. As many said there are 3 flights of stairs but you are only carrying luggage once. The apartment was great . Plenty of towels bed linens and fully stocked kitchen . The place was spotless with stunning views. This is. It about the re tal but MOST things are closed Sunday and Monday so if you're flexible in your planning avoid these days If I ever get the change to come back. I will be staying here - and will recommend to everyone

Bayuex is magical

Bruno was very communicative and helpful in all aspects of our trip. The place is centrally located and just about everything in Bayuex is walkable. It’s a magical place rich in history, beauty and fine dining. Be sure to enjoy the chocolate shop around the corner for coffee and pastries in the am. The accommodations we spacious by European standards and well appointed for anything you may need. The are local charcuterie and wine shops and the cathedral is stunning. Lots of restaurants and taverns all within walking distance. We fell in love with Bayeux.

We were extremely happy with our stay in Bayeux. Bruno, the host, was most helpful....meeting us at the car park, escorting us to the apartment a block or so away, and showing us how to work things (like the washing machine) in the apartment. He responded quickly and efficiently to the minor problem we reported. The apartment is centrally located to restaurants and shopping - making a great base for our 2 day tour of Normandy. The unit was furnished with all we needed for our short stay....and the original stone walls from the 1600s provided added charm. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it once we opened the windows (which had great views!). Thank you, Bruno - we loved Bayeux!

Fantastic flat in the center of Bayeux

Bruno's apartment was perfect for us. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and it was a wonderful home base in such a charming part of Normandie. The only thing to note is that the back bedroom connects to the living space through the other bedroom. But it also has an en suite bathroom so didn't make too much of a difference for us. It was actually night for the early risers to escape into the living room and we hardly heard them. Bruno was very helpful and a delight. Highly recommend!

All around wonderful!

Bayeux is such a beautiful town! We had the best stay in Bruno’s apartment! He is so accommodating! He let us in early on our first day and met us right outside the door! He walked us through the whole apartment and made sure to tell us all the places to go! He even helped us track down where to get a car! Anytime we had a question he was so quick to answer our questions and help us. The views are amazing the beds are so comfortable and there is everything you could ever need right in the apartment! Stay with Bruno!! Thank you Bruno you were an amazing host, we appreciate you!

Best host ever….

Bruno went over and beyond in EVERY way possible.The unit was outfitted like a home with all the extras needed for a short stay. It is stunningly appointed. However, if you’re a senior with heavy luggage, this is a walk up 4 flights. Bruno actually carried our luggage both up and down when we checked out. He called the cab for us, brought extra fans as it was very hot (no AC in Bayeux), and came to the unit to show me how to operate the washer/dryer. Be aware that to get to second bedroom, you need to go through the main bedroom. As we were family, it was not a problem. We would stay here again and Bruno is a wonderful host!

A-1 Rental in the heart of Bayeux

After venturing up to this 3rd floor apartment we were delighted to discover it was worth every step as we entered a beautiful, very clean, newly decorated, and very comfortable space to be our home base in the Normandy region. Both retired couples in our group each had a private, pleasant bedroom which are located off a kitchen-dining-living great room. A bathroom with shower and small washer is just off the kitchen. The smaller bedroom is accessed through the larger one but is equipped with its own private bathroom with shower. The large windows throughout offer beautiful views which include parts of the Cathedral. They open to provide great ventilation and are equipped with room darkening shades. The kitchen is top of the line and fully equipped. The unit is very tastefully decorated. Bruno was an added bonus. He was wonderful to work with. He was dedicated to making our stay perfect even going out of his way to accommodate our check in and check out needs. Bottom line: we loved staying here, would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Outstanding Experience

We had a lovely time at a great location at a great property, and had the perfect host! The property location is ideal for visiting the town, which is in the historic area and around the corner from the cathedral. There's also a very convenient parking lot, a 2 and a half-minute walk from the apartment. Beyond Bayeux, this was a great location for us to visit both the Normandy Beaches and Le Mont Saint-Michel. The apartment was better than the pictures show, we were very well pleased! Everything was clean as a whistle, ship-shape, and in working order. Very nice indeed. However the best part of the visit was our host, Bruno. We had a fellow traveler who had a nearby hotel reservation. After checking in to our apartment, he helped us locate it. However, the hotel had no record of our traveler's reservation. Bruno walked with us from hotel to hotel to try to find a spot. Ultimately, he made arrangements to accommodate the traveler in our apartment. All the while he translated and provided much assistance. It is obvious that he truly cares for his guests. He gave us much of his time and effort. We are very grateful! Bruno, many thanks again for your gracious hospitality. We would love to return to your place and the great village of Bayeux. We highly recommend!!

Wonderful property, centrally located

We just returned from touring Normandy, loved it and highly recommend. This lovely apartment was central located in both Bayeux and the Historic battle sites. It’s well appointed, comfy beds (queen beds). To get to the second room you need to walk through the other bedroom. BR2 has a full bath. For BR 1 you have to walk across the LR/DR, but not a big deal as we were traveling with a family member. We considered taking the other room but it’s smaller. Keep in mind there are 3 flights of stairs, not really a big deal except for arrival and departure. the owner provides a key to the building and the apt so it’s secure. I don’t recall if there was a safe. If your from the USA, there wasn’t an English speaking TV station…I like to watch the daily news, not even BBC. But we're there to site see, not watch TV, right. There's a washing machine and the owner was kind enough to provide detergent. No dryer but there is a drying rack and for things you need to dry quicker you can use the towel heater. There isn’t air conditioning and we were there on the warmest week of the year but the apt has two portable fans that did the trick. Parking is not free unless you Use a free lot which is located several blocks away so unload and relocate your car. The owner responds quickly to email, too. We would certainly return to this apt should we return. Thank you!

In the heart of Bayeux

Bruno was wonderful just as all other reviews have mentioned. He was a wonderful host and directed us to parking and met us personally to deliver the key. He pointed out the local shops and restaurants. I’m glad we stayed. We would return again. 5 stars. Thanks Bruno.

Comfortable, well-located, top-floor walk-up

We enjoyed our stay in Bruno’s apartment. It’s a large, nicely modern attic in a classical building, with skylights that provide excellent light and air, comfortable furniture and a full kitchen (although we ate out during our stay). The bathrooms are modern with new fixtures and plenty of hot water. Some Americans might call the showers small, but they are what one expects in a re-done European apartment. I’m 6’1” and had no problem.The only (minor) negative is that the layout of the bedrooms might be awkward for two unrelated couples because the second bedroom is accessed through the first.We had a rental car and parked in a (free) outdoor lot that Bruno recommended. It was about a 7-minute walk from the apartment; however, there is a paid lot that is closer. We were able to pull up right in front of the apartment for luggage handling.Bruno is a charming host and we would stay in the apartment again.
