My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time stayong in this apartment. It is a very nice setup as advertised and in great proximity to everything you would want to do in Rome or the neighborhood. We would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the charm of the building and location. Apartment was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to check in to and even though right in the middle of everything, it was quiet inside when we wanted to sleep or rest. We walked to all the sights and really enjoyed our time in Roma!
Lovely accommodation in an amazing location. Very nice and clean apartment, stocked with anything you might need. Located on a popular street but the noise cannot be heard. Cafes and wine bars everywhere. The tram and taxi park are at the end of the street (maybe 3 minutes). The walk to the Pantheon area is easy and it was fun taking different routes. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Would definitely stay again.
The apartment was clean, well equipped, and perfectly located in the heart of a vibrant and lively neighborhood, Plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping just outside the door. Walking distance to everything in Rome. I highly recommend the apartment and would stay again next time we visit Rome.
We loved our stay. The apartment is charming, spacious for our family of three, and right in the middle of an amazing and lively neighborhood with many restaurants and cafes. Since the apartment is on the third floor it is quiet even as the crowds churn well into the night.
The Basilica of Santa Maria, one of Romeâs oldest churches, is about one block away and worth a visit. Highly recommend this apartment for two to three people.
Well situated in the heart of Trastevere, easy walking distance across the river into the center of Rome. Comfortable bed and the bedroom itself was remarkably quiet despite the noise below as it had 2 double-pained windows on top of each other, leaving just some white noise coming from the weekend revelers below.
Nicely situated, safe feeling at night. Perfectly located. Enjoyed the clean bathroom, and the bed (very comfortable).
WiFi available, but short range, only available in living room.
Easy to get in touch with owners and set meeting time. People courteous and organized. Would recommend this place without a doubt.
Apt. has everything you need, very comfortable and great location. You can walk everywhere from it and it is very secure. Simple decor, but tasteful. Toilet was not clean and when we used glasses in the cupboard they were still dirty. Otherwise a very good place.
My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend to visit my other daughter while she spent a semester at John Cabot University in Rome. Itâs a beautiful, bright, clean, quiet corner apartment on the third floor. 5 min walk to JCU. Nice kitchen. Big sitting area to hang out in. Nice bedroom. We walked everywhere from hereâeven over to the Colosseum for sunset drinks. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in this one bedroom rental. Our small children, ages 5/6 slept comfortably on the sofa bed. We did not use the kitchen much but it appeared well equipped. Our only concern was the air conditioning unit never caught up. The unit remained a bit warmer than we would have liked the entire stay.
My family of 4 stayed in the apartment. Thank goodness it has a small elevator to help with luggage. Just high enough from the ground floor so the busy nightlife does not keep you up. Itâs a great location with lots of yummy places to eat. We were able to walk to many sites. The apartment listing is accurate. It was our first VRBO in Europe so we didnât know what to expect. It is in a very old building so things are a little run down. We stayed in the summer and the AC was perfect so I think thatâs all that matters at that time. Thank you!
As a couple that first met here in Rome as students in 1971, we have returned many times but only for a weekend before heading out to other parts of Italy. This time we planned a deep dive in Rome to Berninis and Caravaggios and trattorias and the pace, noise and fun of Trastevere. Our location on Via Lungaretta was well set for being in Trastevere but also in easy reach of the other side of Tiber. The apartment provided us the space, light and amenities that we needed. The host was professional in all respects. YesâŠI would recommend ths location to anyne with similar objectives as we had.
We had a really nice family stay in Rome. The person who welcomed us for the company was really friendly. The apartment is extremely well located - right at the heart of Trastevere. We could walk everywhere and there is a gelato place just in front of the building which made the kids (10 and 13) really happy :). The apartment is really basic, not specially "warm" compare to other apartments we rented in Rome in the past. The bathroom needs to be refreshed and a bit of love. The shower faucet definitely needs to be replaced...it fell twice while we were there. Overall, we had a nice stay.
This property was in a very good location. We were able to visit all of the amazing historical sites daily by foot. In the evenings we did not have to venture very far to find great food.
The flat was more spacious than I expected. It was well appointed and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is up well past midnight so the double windows in the bedroom made it easy to sleep.
I was very pleased with this property. When you are in tourist mode it is important to have a nice place to return to after walking all day. When I would return to this flat each afternoon I genuinely felt happy that that I selected this place to stay when I visited Rome.
Unit was as pictured. Noise from ducts in kitchen can be easily quieted by closing the kitchen door. Faceplate missing on bathroom outlet. Lots of hanging storage available. Should update/grade bed pillows. Only two flat pillows provided. We used one of the down comforters as pillows. BYO extra toilet paper and youâre good. Toilet flusher was a bit finicky but just wiggle the button and it stops. Grateful for the elevator! Thanks for a nice stay!
We loved staying at this apartment! It's very conveniently located, is very clean and well maintained and has everything you might need, including a full kitchen and washing machine. There isn't a clothes dryer but we used a travel clothesline we bought from Amazon to dry our clothes and it worked great. You can choose to walk to all the sights from here or walk to the taxi stand just a few blocks away. We didn't take the public transportation, though you certainly could if you wanted to. There are some great restaurants in the Trastevere region; we loved Da Vittori and Taverna Trilussa. Rafael was a great host and met us at the apartment just as we arrived, despite the fact that we didn't text until about 15 minutes before our arrival. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again!
The apartment has an extremely well-equipped kitchen, is bright and air-conditioned (even in mid-May Rome can be really hot), and has an enormous amount of storage space. The owner is gracious, and the greeter is efficient and friendly. We had a little dishwasher problem, but it was quickly fixed and we received a discount. Because it is a third-floor apartment (fourth, by American floor count), the elevator is a good thing to have for those of us who bring more luggage than they should.
Once you close the double-glazed windows, it is surprisingly quiet -- surprisingly because the Via della Lungaretta is filled with tourists starting around noon. They keep themselves busy until midnight visiting the zillions of shops and restaurants. After a day of Rome, you need peace and quiet because this is a town where sotto voce is not practiced, and this place gives you that peace and quiet. Just being able to open the front door and entering the cool hallway, extricating yourself from the stream of tourists, is a privilege.
The location is superb: about 30 minutes walking from the Colosseo and Foro Romano, 40 minutes from the Vatican, a 5-minute walk to a taxi stand. And, of course, in the heart of Trastevere.
Overall condition of the apartment is so so, but location is great
The apartment is in a great location, great gelato place right outside this apartment!
The apartment is not in a great condition overall. First of all, the toilet is broken and seems like itâs been like that for a while, please fix it. Itâs annoying that we couldnât flush the toilet. Secondly, the shower canât seem to keep a stable temperature, it would go from hot to cold and then all of a sudden super hot again. Thirdly, there is a big round duct in the kitchen in the ceiling that is super loud constantly, at night we had to close the kitchen door otherwise it would be too loud to sleep in the sofa bed. Last but not the least, the air conditioning doesnât get very cool.
I was originally going to use the washer, but this washer is quite small and dirty. I tested with a clean water run with no clothes in there, you can see the white gunk floating in the water, so I eventually decided not to use it.
Trastevere can be quite loud at night but I will say this apartment does a good job blocking out the noise from the bars at night.
We loved the ease of walking to the taxi stand! The food was delicious and service was friendly and accommodating as we do not speak Italian! Graci graci !!
