il est un appartement très fonctionnel si petit. Entièrement rénové. Il est très lumineux car il dispose de trois fenêtres dans deux chambres et la salle de séjour conduit à un balcon idéal pour les petits déjeuners et dîners aux chandelles. La vue est magnifique! Les toits, les collines du Chianti jusqu'à Apennins! vous entrez dans une route très fréquentée, traverser un palais, et il est situé dans une cour super calme entouré de verdure ... c'est incroyable! Le matin, vous obtenez réveillé par les oiseaux, même si vous êtes dans le centre-ville.

Cosy and great location

Chiara was a great host and her apartment was lovely with great character. It is small but for us (2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11)) it was fine. It is in a very good location and has a lovely view from the small balcony. I would recommend this place and would return.

Don’t trust this property bookings

I had this property reserved and paid for 6 months in advance. I also communicated with property manager several times over the 6 months but when we tried to check in it was already occupied! Called manager and she said we didn’t pay and she never confirmed. Both of which was not true. Still trying to get all my money back as we had to scramble and find other accommodations in a foreign country 😳

It wasn't my fault I have refounded all the entire payment They didn't answer my messages and they waken up last second They didn't receive my final confirmation so I don't understand why they are agains me Finally they didn't spend any money

The property was not as described and we decided not to stay there

We had no welcome from the owner we had to go and find the keys from a cafe when questioned on the phone she was quite rude and I must warn others considering this property that upstairs means 5 flights of stairs across an outdoor courtyard and. Up a sixth flight of stairs with no hand rail it also situated on what looked like the steepest Hill in Siena which you had to climb after all the stairs to go anywhere The balcony was a mess we never found the washing machine and decided we couldn't stay there so found a hotel to stay in

I didn't meet them because our timings were different and I always suggest doing the self check in because leaves everybody free. Self check-in is very easy because everything is written in the announcement: it should be nice to read it before coming! She spoke very fast and I didn't understand her: I'm Italian and I speck a foreign language. Consider this, please! By phone it's more difficult yo understand a foreign fast language! The upstairs are 72 as written in the announcement and, anyway 5 floors cannot being less then that!😀 They didn't find the wash machine because it's under the kitchen from the courtyard as written in the announcement. The problem is that many times the people don't read the announcement and they find some problems that shouldn't be problems if they would have read it!!! 72 steps A beautiful view Quiet appartamenti Historical centre Wash and dry machine under the apartment

Vraiment très pratique

Très bien situé au centre ville et près des commerces et restaurants. Petit balcon avec vue sur un grand jardin au calme avec des oiseaux, on n'à pratiquement pas le bruit de la ville, autre vue sur une cour intérieure, à l'italienne..., bon lit, il manque un placard pour ranger ses větemenus. Equipement de cuisine un peu léger. Salle de douche riquiqui, mais on ne manque pas d'eau chaude. Le WIFI marche très bien. je recommande, attention la rue est très en pente et il y a 3 étages à grimper à chaque fois. Bon séjour.

formidable!

Appartement correspondant parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Très bien entretenu et très fonctionnel. La vue du balcon et de la fenêtre sont extraordinaires et en font un endroit magique. En plein cœur de Sienne mais effectivement très calme. Chiara est très disponible et parle un très bon français. Seul bémol: c'est un peu difficile de se garer gratuitement. Tout était parfait en dehors de ce détail! merci Chiara!

formidable!

Appartement qui correspond parfaitement à la description qui en est faite et aux photos. Il est bien entretenu et très fonctionnel. Très calme malgré sa situation en plein cœur de Sienne. La vue du balcon et de la fenêtre en font un endroit magique! le seul petit bémol est la difficulté pour se garer gratuitement. Mais en dehors de cela, tout était parfait! Chiara parle très bien le français et est très disponible! merci encore de votre accueil Chiara!

Le calme au centre de Sienne

Appartement fonctionnel avec une magnifique vue , tout à fait conforme aux photos. Situation idéale pour visiter Sienne à pied et retour au calme le soir. Nous avons passé 4 jours parfaits. Un réel plaisir.

A nice and clean apt. with great views of Siena down below...a steep hill for luggage, so taxi in and out and not far from the bus station.

Ho soggiornato nell' appartamento per cinque settimane(!) e mi sono sentito a mio agio dal primo momento. È molto accogliente e situato in posizione centrale ma tranquilla. Bellissima la vista dal balcone! Se mi è permesso di proporre un dettaglio da migliorare: Sarebbe bello avere delle zanzariere alle finestre (le zanzare sono poche ma ce ne sono). Grazie Chiara e alla prossima volta!

Great value for location

Great little apartment in a fun neighborhood - very close to all the great sights of Siena! The balcony with a beautiful view is a great feature. Perfect home base for exploring Siena and the rest of Tuscany.

A fabulous oasis in busy Siena!

We st ayed at Chiara's wonderful property in Siena and although quite small the layout is clever enough to make it seem much larger! The view from the balcony was terrific and overlooked a garden....it was hard to believe the tranquility there when we were so close to the street. We were there during the Palio... a must on everyone's bucket list....and so was very active. We were in the Lupa contrada and it was exciting to be part of the festivities particularly since "our" horse won. The apartment also had a pantry with lots of goodies to make life easier..a joy to find oil, pepper and salt etc.The bed was very comfortable and certainly recommend this property highly.

Fun apartment off the beaten track but still really close to all the attractions

Great apartment with a patio over looking olive trees and neighboring gardens with a great view of town below and church and town above. We walked everywhere and this apartment was located in a great spot--7 minute walk to Piazza Gramsci for busses, 7 minutes (or less) to Il Campo, it's located on a side street so the tourist noise and traffic isn't there. Handy kitchen with table and bar, bathroom with window (great view!), patio big enough for two chairs with a table, bedroom with queen bed plus a fold out bed in the living room. Shutters for air flow but privacy, and door to patio has those great hinges so you can flip the top of the door open for air flow but not have the door wide open. Fridge, stove all in working order. We found places to eat and drink near by, and really, the whole town is at your fingertips--we walked all over the place without getting too tired.

Location, location, location!

Chiara's apartment is ideally located in Siena very close to everything you need to make your stay in this charming town enjoyable. There are grocery stores and pastry shops, cafes and restaurants all a stones throw away from her cozy apartment. The apartment itself is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, there was always hot water water for the shower and the ever changing views from the window are really quite extraordinary. There is a small terrace where you can sit and enjoy your morning espresso or evening wine while watching swallows dart in the setting sun with Tuscan hills in the distance. Il Campo is a few minutes walk away, and the Duomo not much further-every walk is a different discovery of something charming and unique. I fell in love with Siena; its contrada's and its history-I hope you will too...thank you, Chiara, for sharing your cozy apartment and beautiful Siena with us...

Delightful little apartment

The owner, Chiara, was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment is in an old building on the third floor, on a street with a steep slope, so you get some exercise. The good-sized bedroom has a window with classic exterior wooden shutters overlooking the courtyard and city--very nice view. The kitchen is small but functional with another window facing the same direction. The living room and bathroom are both tiny, but big enough (barely). There is a small balcony off the living room overlooking a park--very nice. The washer and dryer were very welcome as I had just finished a 7 day walk along the Via Francigena. Overall we were happy with the place and would stay there again if we return to Siena.

Great Location and Beautiful View

This apartment is in a good location, only a few blocks from the Il Campo, the famous town square. It was tucked into a quiet neighborhood consisting of very old and quaint buildings. The views from the apartment were the best of both worlds - out of the kitchen and bedroom windows was a quaint neighborhood and the view off of the balcony was olive and apricot trees in the foreground and the Tuscan countryside in the distance, with swallows flying overhead. However, we didn't spend much time in the apartment because Siena is a wonderful town that you want to be out in! The apartment had a full kitchen with refrigerator and oven, access to a washing machine and dryer, and clothes lines outside the kitchen and bedroom windows (I particularly loved feeling like an Italian woman as I hung my clothes on the line). The bed was very comfortable and there were places to hang your clothes. Chiara was a very attentive host, met us at the apartment when we arrived, gave us ideas on places to eat and visit, and was available by phone/email when we had questions. Suggestions of Siena: Go to Il Campo at night, sit down in the square, and watch the activities. Visit St. Catherine's Sanctuary (chapel and residence) and read up on her story. Eat Gelato at Gromm, have Aperol Spritz in the Il Campo, we loved the restaurant Grotta di Santa Caterina - sit outside if you can and have desert with their home made liquor. The Basilica di San Domenico is worth going to for it's interesting artifacts. The Cathedral and crypt are also very fascinating. Wear good walking shoes, be ready to walk up and down hills, and note that there is an escalator down the hill from the Basilica di San Domenico to go back to the il Campo area.

Beautiful, small apartment with a view

This was a wonderful apartment. The view towards the Chianti hills was amazing. The apartment is well equipped and we had a great time cooking with fresh food from the market and eating on the terrace. We would definitely stay here again when we return.

Bright, quiet apartment, close to center of town

Well located, clean, well equipped, charming apartment. Just a couple blocks from busy main street that takes you to many Siena attractions, but the apartment itself is in a very quiet location. The small terrace, overlooking a garden area and with views to the distant hills, was wonderful for quiet, sunny breakfasts. Close to bus station, making arrival/departures easy. We enjoyed the seafood restaurant just a couple doors up from the apartment. Chiara was very welcoming and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay here. Thanks, Chiara!

Kleine sehr ruhige Altstadtwohnung mit Balkon

Die wie beschrieben kleine, aber großzügige nutzbare Wohnung liegt absolut ruhig (da im Rückgebäude gelegen) in der Altstadt von Siena. Sie ist sehr hell, gut eingerichtet -auch mit vielen Küchenutensilien- und das absolute Highlight ist der kleine Balkon, von dem man einen wunderbaren Blick über die Stadt und in einen kleinen Park hat. Zu Fuß erreicht man sehr schnell alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, viele nette Lokale (modernes Fischrestaurant, urige Trattoria aber auch elegantes Restaurant) sind "quasi" um die Ecke. Wir hatten bei herbstlichen Wetter eine tolle Zeit und können die Wohnung jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful two week stay in this apartment. The apartment we well equipped, very clean, great location, and with a wonderful view from the back balcony and courtyard windows. This is a stylish apartment that will make you fill part of Siena and its neighborhoods. It was easy to get to all of the sites, sumptuous reasonable restaurants all around and close to markets. One of the best things about this apartment is the owner, Chiara. She is a force of nature, full of life and always did things to make our stay fulfilling and we don’t think there is anyone in Siena who knows more about the city. We highly recommend this property.

klein aber fein

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Haus in der Altstadt von Siena, es ist alles da, was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Sie ist ruhig, hat einen kleinen Balkon, von dem aus man in die toskanische Landschaft sieht. In wenigen Minuten ist man bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Geschäften und Lokalen. Ein feiner Platz.

Great little place in the middle of Siena.

Perfect little spot in the middle of Siena for two, stayed here for three days in June with my wife, small but has everything you could need. Really good location in the center of town so you can walk everywhere, not really any need for a car. Nice little kitchen which is big enough to make your own meals and has a lovely balcony at the back which looks over a garden and out across the city. Nice and quiet for sleeping as well. Owner is very helpful and speaks excellent English and Portuguese.
