Our tennis team needed a comfy quiet house for our competition weekend. We were able to book both the studio and the house giving us additional bedrooms. We had a very comfy stay, the house was just right. Quiet with comfy beds, very close to groceries and other restaurants when we werenât cooking ourselves. We would definitely stay here again.
Peaceful location on a quiet street, idyllic back yard for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Loft offers a great place for kids and teens to have their own space. Had a great time reconnecting with extended family. Kitchen and common areas were ample and comfortable, plenty of counter space. Some issues with check-in when we first arrived were resolved and we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this location and stay again!
This property had everything we needed! I went with a group of 12 people and we were all accommodated comfortably. The host was very gracious and a timely communicator. Went up for a Ducks game, short drive (5-8 minutes) to downtown and campus. Grocery store nearby for everything we needed, restaurants, and Spencerâs butte park for great hiking. 10/10 stay, highly recommend for large groups!
The property made bringing family from Idaho & Washington very easy. It accommodated the numbers and a full on Holiday dinner to make the new years absolutely perfect.
This was a perfect location for our family. Close to Cascade Manor where we have elderly parents.
It was very easy to check in. And we walked most everywhere, to coffee and restaurants.
Place was clean and organized. Well described. Quiet neighborhood away from the hustle of a college town. Hosts were great and responsive with very simple instructions for checkout and check in. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We stayed at Bamboo Grove for 3 nights. There were 6 of us who were attending the US rowing Regatta in Lowell, OR. We all wanted our own space which would have worked out well except the living room sleeping sofa was broken. We notified the host on day 1 (sent photo and messaged in app and texted) that the frame of the sleeper sofa in the living room was broken but never heard back from the host during our stay to address the problem. The host had good communication prior to the stay. The house was otherwise clean and the kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. We enjoyed having meals at the house. There was a guest staying at the garage studio during our stay but it was still fairly quiet. We likely will find another option for our annual regatta.
Property allowed our group to stay together during our trip to Eugene...quiet neighborhood was a big plus along...additionally the proximity to Hayward Field was a huge plus. Would highly recommend to any group.
Cheers,
The house was clean and able to accommodate all 8 of us comfortably. The back yard was a plus, much larger than expected. The hosts responded quickly to all of our questions. Thank you for a lovely 4 nights.
The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and is close to downtown. Supermarket is nearby and there are plenty of restaurants. The furniture is well set up and the kitchen is well equipped. We played board games that are available to guests. Definitely will come back again!
This home is perfect for a large gathering of people. There were plenty of beds and private spaces as well as a nice open communal space. Everything was immaculately clean, including but not limited to the bathrooms, showers, bed sheets and kitchen. Check in was extremely smooth and the hosts provide very thorough and clear instructions. If we are ever in the Eugene area, we will certainly stay here again. 5 stars!
Friends and I were there for a football weekend Memorial for a good friend of ours who was a 36 year season ticket holder to Oregon Duck football, but passed away late last year after the season was over. The house is on a quiet street in the south Hills just 15 minutes from the stadium. Comfortable and unique set up where most of the bedrooms are set a bit apart from the others for some extra peace and quiet. Also a quiet backyard and plenty of on street parking for multiple groups. This place will be on our list when we return sometime next year!
We rented both this unit and the smaller studio in the same house for a group of high school students and chaperones. It was great. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, very clean. Description 100% accurate and looks just like the pictures. Would definitely return. Thanks!
We were exhibiting at the fairgrounds for the Oregon Logging Conference. No complaints. Appreciated there being coffee and tea in the cabinet and plastic wrap and aluminum foil and other kitchen essentials. There was no sponge - that I could find at least - that was a bit of a frustration, but hardly worth complaining about. The seating area is small for the number of people that the house can hold, but again - we survived just fine. Made a good excuse to go to bed early. Quiet time was over 9am which we totally had to break just because we had to leave early, but also start the washer before we go as part of check out. Excellent and very safe neighborhood so we didn't worry about parking on the street. Thank you for having us, will probably be back.
Booked this house because we were in town for a wedding.
Well stocked, on soap, coffee, towels, paper towels dishwasher soap etc.
Only negatives were there were only two washcloths/rags in the house (makes it hard to wash pots and pans that don't fit in the dishwasher or wipe down counters/table) and most of the garbage cans out front were full to the top when we checked in.
We are a large family, so naturally we produce a fair amount of trash.
Bamboo Grove is wonderful. Plenty of room for our family. Good separation of sleeping areas from communal area. Our little girls (age 5 and 9) loved the playroom in the loft area. I would book this house again.
We had a mini family reunion with our adult children during the Oregon Bach Festival. Bamboo Grove had plenty of bedrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a big table for family meals. We enjoyed the outdoor space. The A/C worked well during a terrible heat wave. There are games and a TV, and we used the washer and dryer several times. Super helpful host. Highly recommended.
Nice to meet you! Iâm Tobin. Iâm a NW Native, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I lived in Eugene for many years, but moved back to Portland a while back. I enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, glass blowing, dancing, good food, good wine, good puns, and going on adventures with my twin mini huskies. Yes, that skiing photo is a real (and recent!) photo. I recently purchased all original 80s ski equipment and had a fun run on Mt Hood.
