The condo was in good condition. The host was helpful when needed. The views from the balcony were amazing. The restaurant downstairs offers a really good breakfast!

Amazing views

The place had amazing views, it was clean, quiet, the water was perfect, the pool was cleaned daily, the kitchen was fully equipped. Important: it had spices, tea, sugar, and coffee.

Menehune in Kihei

Property was just as described. Clean and comfortable. Right on a fish pond and filled with green sea turtles for daily viewing. Bonus was an out of sight Indian restaurant on site.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the furniture was very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained, and access to the beach is amazing.

Excellent unit. Kristin, the host was very friendly and accommodating. Minimal seasonings but the kitchen is well stocked otherwise, pots, pans, Tupperware, etc. Property is very nice and well kept. Maintenance people were cleaning and polishing everything every day. We made good use of the grills. Grilling tools are under the stove which took us a while to come across. :)Hot water. Cold fridge. AC works great.

Kihei Condo

The condo had a lovely ocean view and its location was central for exploring the island. The furnishings were adequate. Unfortunately, there had been a flood several days before we arrived, and we understand some residents were not able to move their cars for a while because of the mud. It had been cleared out of the parking lot by the time we arrived, but south Kihei Road was closed near us for repairs during our visit and sidewalks in the area were still covered in 6 or so inches of mud. We were told this is a rare occurrence, but it is something to consider during the rainy season.

Maintenance staff for the development keep the grounds immaculate with daily pool cleaning and maintenance. This condo unit is well maintained and appointed with all amenities. Centrally located and within 15-30 minutes of most tourist destinations. The four beach chairs and umbrella were an added benefit to use on Maui's beaches. Manager was very responsive to needs via text. Would definitely stay here again.

AWESOME Beachfront Vacation

Reviewer Comments: We LOVED our stay at Menehune Shores, LOVED the ocean views, we ate on the balconey for every meal, hung out on the balconey at night listening to the waves, the lagoon was great for floating, soaking up the beautiful sunshine, and perfect for little ones because it is protected from the waves. Sea turtles galore sleeping on the rocks and swimming by you. You can also walk past the lagoon to Kalepolepo Beach and enjoy waves, we left skim board for others to enjoy. Beach chairs/umbrella provided. Condo was furnished appropriately, clean and in great location! Memories made, we miss it already!

Absolutely Wonderful

This property was perfect for my family. The living area was beautifully decorated and our host provided every amenity we could ask for to make our stay nothing short of perfect. Although I have been to Hawaii many times, this was a first trip for my son and his family. This property is the ideal way to build priceless memories and experience Maui for the first time. The view from this property offers a simply stunning vantage point to enjoy your morning coffee or take in the evening sunset. Menehune Shores property provides perfect beach access and a calm water cove where our boys learned how to snorkel. Our property manager was immediately responsive to any questions I had prior to check in, and after our return home went out of their way to quickly help us retrieve a left behind item. We will definitely book this property again next year!! Mahalo Menehune Shores!

Maui sunset view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this properly because of the view from the lanai in the pictures. It did not disappoint. In January, we watched whales- bring binoculars- and sunsets daily. The condo was clean, kitchen well equipped-although appliances are aging- and air conditioning worked great. Having beach gear was a plus. After a hard rain, the road to the condo in one direction was closed for 2 days. That rain also caused a water supply issue that affected an large area and property management kept us informed of events and timeline. We would stay here again.

Daily whale sightings & beautiful sunsets right from our lanai. Great East Indian restaurant. Enjoyed the pool & shuffleboard courts. Although, the shuffleboard grid could use some new paint. Always ample parking & great location for easy access to other parts of the island. Enjoyed being in a less congested, “chill”, more economical part of the island compared to Lahaina, Kanapali or Wailea. Grounds including BBQ grills, pool, chairs well maintained/cleaned daily. Unit was stocked w/everything we needed including linens, washer/dryer, paper products, etc. Our unit host (Kristen) was awesome! Very responsive to any questions we had. THANK YOU!!
