This house is adorable. Itâs beautifully decorated and has nostalgic touches throughout. It is well equipped with plenty of towels, kitchen utensils a coffee maker and even an espresso machine. The host was very helpful when I had questions. The downside to this property is its location. Itâs near a bridge on a very busy road. Since you have to keep the windows open to stay cool (there is no A/C - typical for the area), light sleepers might be disturbed by the road noise. There are large electric fans in each bedroom that do drown out some of the noise.
Very responsive host. We had a housekeeping misstep and he was there in a heartbeat fixing it! Property is a secluded cabin atmosphere in a neighborhood. No AC, which is the norm for NorCal but a bit too hot for me (I keep my house at 64 year round and 55 at night soâŠ). Nice outdoor seating and fire pit.
My wife, Jennifer, and I both spent (and loved) many years in the hospitality industry and always had dreams of having a big B&B. Life of course had other ideas for us. Now that we are a little older and have fuller lives along with a teenager we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to spin our dream in another direction by hosting you in our lovingly remodeled and updated 1932 Russian River cabin.
This property was a dream come true for us. It's in in an absolutely breath taking location on the Russian River near the Hacienda bridge and is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that the Northen California area has to offer. When we bought it it was definitely a diamond in the rough, and it was very rough. We spent the first year and half lovingly and carefully bringing it back to its former glory as well as adding a few modern amenities and comfortably elegant furnishings. We are super proud of what we have manifested and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We should add that due to its proximity to the bridge there is a fair amount of road noise. So maybe not The best fit for light sleepers.
