Great space

The house is perfect for family gatherings, plenty of well appointed spaces. Primary bed was very comfortable, other family members stated their beds were not comfortable. We have already talked about coming back to this house. The basketball “court” was a big hit. Overall a good time was had by all.

Great stay

The house is great, the location to everything is walkable, and Aunt Bugs was very on top of everything. The only thing I would change is the 10am checkout, with all the people and kids we had it was tight and the house was kept clean the whole time. It was a great stay!

Great place

Great place for our family of 10. House had a great layout, plenty of room for everyone. We never felt crowded. Very clean. Check-in was easy. Close to everything! Just walk down the steps and Gatlinburg is right there! Yet it was secluded and felt hidden away. Two things: steps are quite steep and, number two; you do not have to go to the Smokies to see bears. We could watch them from the deck now and then. Truly enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

Walk to town

Walk to town, no parking worries. Plenty of room for everyone. Video games, outdoor games, huge kitchen/dining area. Aunt Bugs is the host, they were easy to communicate with and helpful during and after our stay(we left some things behind).

Trip to the mountains

We loved everything about the property… the location was in walking distance to town. The house had EVERYTHING you could possibly think of to make your stay enjoyable. Communication was great.

Location

We usually stay up in the mountains but this was a shorter trip so the location was great because you’re right in town. In less than 2 minutes you’re at the light to go towards downtown Gatlinburg/ the National Park or go toward Pigeon Forge.

Best Location for family get together

Quality space for bathing sleeping cooking eating visiting. Wonderful location walking distance to main Gatlinburg. For the cost I would have preferred a cleaner property.

Smoky Mtn Heaven

What a wonderful place to spend Christmas! This home is beautiful and so spacious. Perfect for a large group. Aunt Bug's is great and responds quickly. The decorations were gorgeous. Being able to walk to town was a great feature!

Beautiful home...and bears!

Lovely home, great layout, and easy check-in. House was a short ten-minute walk from downtown and we saw bears in the yard nearly every day - including a momma and her two cubs.

Perfect for a group of car guys!

Property was very nice for a group of 10. Parking is plentiful for many cars, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is huge. The basketball court and hot tub were a great way to end the evenings. Overall I would highly recommend this property. I would book again!

Great location.

Perfect house for a group of 4 couples. Everyone had a comfortable room and private bathroom. The location was very close to downtown Gatlinburg. We were able to walk to town and avoided the traffic. Everyone loved it.

Perfect week in the mountains

Cabin/house was beautiful, clean, bigger than it looks in the pictures. The second refrigerator came in handy and there were an abundance of extra blankets/pillows which was nice. The location was perfect and allowed for quick trips to things like the strip, Pigeon Forge and the grocery. Will likely book this house again in the future!

Good house in a Great Location

House is bigger than it looks in the photos. Was more than enough space for a family of 11. Only complaints were the address was not provided until 30 minutes before check-in and the smell of what appeared to be a dead rodent. Other than that it was a great house. Family loved the large tables in the dinning room and the arcade games. Would stay again.

The patios could have been cleaned, and a little more detail cleaning inside..but overall nit so bad..Having a worker come in during the stay without a phone call was very upsetting, told there was a work order placed probably by the people who were there before us was disrespectful..more communication needed by management....we were having such a good time we decided to not let it ruin our weekend.

Aunt Bug's customer service is very poor

5 Bedroom Smoky Mountain cabin near Downtown Gatlinburg. NEW to program! Because of a change in dates, we ended up staying in another place, the Mystic Pool Lodge in Cosby. Our stay in the lodge in Cosby, outside Gatlinburg, was fine. The lodge was well-suited to the needs of my daughter and her young family, my son, and myself. The only deficiency in the property was a broken guard rail on the deck at the side of the lodge. We noticed this when we first got there, before it could cause any trouble. However, I think you should check into the Aunt Bug’s company’s customer service. It is absolutely awful! Look at the reviews via Google. In particular, check the complaints that have been filed with the Better Business Bureau, and the uncompromising replies filed by the management. I doubt if Aunt Bug’s gets any repeat business, and I am surprised that property owners list their places with Aunt Bug’s. They must be unaware of the reviews the company gets. In my own case, although – as I say – the property itself was entirely satisfactory, my dealings with Aunt Bug’s were very unsatisfactory. In the first place, a huge amount of paperwork was involved in making the booking, and it seemed that hardly a week went by without my receiving a lengthy communication from them, asking all kinds of unnecessary questions. On top of that, when – after a long drive -- I arrived at the Aunt Bug’s office to get information about accessing the lodge, I was told that I had first to pay a major amount IN CASH to get the necessary codes and directions to find the lodge. I had already paid a large amount of money for the rental. I told the person in the office who wanted the money that, of course, I don't carry large amounts of cash around. He was totally unapologetic, and told me that the money would be returned to me by mail, after we had vacated the property. He told me about the location of a nearby ATM. I had to go to three ATMs before I found one that was working and that would give me the necessary amount. When I eventually returned with the necessary cash, I was told that I had been informed in advance on the phone that I would have to pay a cash deposit, although I doubt this. I think it is very strange that it was not mentioned in the several emails I received just before leaving for the Gatlinburg area. No doubt Vrbo values its reputation, and will want to conduct a bona fide investigation of this without further quibbles.

Spring Break Quick Trip

Perfect location for a quick Smokey Mountain vacation! Walking distance to downtown and the aquarium! Had pizza delivered and enjoyed the house one night too! A beautiful home with everything we needed!

Gatlingburg Cabin

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect blend of being close to everything yet still feeling secluded and peaceful. The cabin was clean and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of minor points to note: the floor mats in the bathroom and kitchen could use a good vacuuming, and for a cabin this size, I would have liked there to be a stock of essentials like toilet paper and garbage bags. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Gatlinburg wedding weekend

The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is huge and everyone loved the stay there. There was an issue with the hot tub and when I contacted the owner there was someone there within an hour to fix it!! We will definitely be back❤️

Perfect Gatlinburg Location

Us 10 women stayed in the house. More than enough space. Great bedroom arrangement and plenty of bathrooms. The house is beautifully appointed and a very easy walk to downtown. We didn’t use the hot tub, but could have. Our schedule was so busy we didn’t really have time to enjoy the outdoor spaces but could have. The management company was very accommodating and very easy to work with. We will return
