À cet endroit, vous vous retrouverez dans votre propre petite escapade privée mais au centre de tout avec beaucoup à faire pour tous les âges. Dans un 1/3 mile, vous trouverez non seulement la plage mais une épicerie, des magasins de surf, un glacier et une pizzeria. Juste au-delà, vous trouverez la plage des surfeurs et les bars / restaurants en bord de mer extrêmement populaires pour les personnes âgées. Les logements comprennent une très grande cuisine bien équipée, un salon spacieux avec télévision à écran plat, une salle de soleil / matin, une aire de jeux pour les enfants, de grandes chambres et salles de bains, une buanderie sur place et une grande cour privée. De plus, le linge de lit, les couvertures et les oreillers sont fournis. Les attractions locales incluent Block Island, Charlestown, Newport, Point Judith, et pour ceux qui se sentent chanceux, le Casino est à une courte distance en voiture.

Wonderful

Fabulous stay with four adult children and more friends and family. Short walk to the best town beach in the universe with 8:15 am yoga! House was perfect - clean, comfortable and well appointed.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything needed, there were plenty of towels for bathing and the beach, and the beds were very comfortable. Overall excellent and comfortable stay. Thank you!

Beach haven

This home is so close to the beach that you will be going many times a day. The house is large with plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen is well stocked. The individual splits made our stay enjoyable as the three bedrooms could be individually controlled, which was a big bonus. It was nice that sheets and pillows were included as we traveled across the country and didn’t need to worry about renting them. The bathroom showers were tall enough for my 6’8 son in law. The large couches in the living room provided a place to sit and relax at the end of the day. The outdoor grill and patio furniture were a bonus. We didn’t use the pool table as we were so busy doing other things. The Seaview Market is walkable and we didn’t have to go far for what we needed. My family had a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend your wonderful beach haven! Thank you for hosting!Patti Hanschen

Clean and Near

We were there for our grandson's graduation from Brown. It was about 40 minutes away, but we were out of the crowds of Providence. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants, and outdoor activities.

Beautiful home in a fantastic location

This home is the perfect VRBO rental. The home is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and the location less than a mile from Matunuck beach is perfect! we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean breeze while sitting on the front porch. This one is a keeper!

Relax - it’s all been taken care of

Delightful home base for a week at the beach. Within walking distance to South County town beach and a short drive to many others. The home has everything you could need, including an outdoor shower and a porch for morning coffee, which made the entire experience enjoyable.

Quaint Matunuck stay - great for multiple families

Visiting family who live in RI and needed a place to stay, and this fit our needs in every way. Quiet neighborhood. Great location near S Kingston Beach. Spacious rooms and living areas. Although we didn’t use the kitchen to cook, it was very well stocked. Tons of towels and amenities. Quick and easy communication with the property owner. Definitely going to book again for future trips to RI

We were there for my niece's wedding. The location was great and easy to get to all the venues. The house was large enough that the each couple had their own floor. Would definitely recommend to others

Overrated Property

The property description is incorrect. The exterior shrubs and trees need attention. It looks nothing like the picture on VRBO. The interior is aged, however clean except for the basement pool table area. The furniture there is old and dusty and the pool table is not usable. The balls do not return to be cued up. The master suite area on the second floor, where the king bed is located, has steps leading up to the bed. With the dark hardwood floor, it is very challenging at night if you need to use the facilities. In addition, there are also steps leading up to the bathroom. Bring a flashlight! The main egress entrance (side entrance) into the house has a step down onto a 2’ step. This should a minimum of 3’ in depth from the opening to meet code. The same width as the the 3’ door.In addition, for anyone that likes to relax and keep up to date on the news or real time TV be prepared to bring or sign up for APPs. The TVsare ROKU, not cable or satellite.

A great house in a great location

We had a wonderful time in Matunuck. The house was great and is close to the beach, the farm, the store, and ice cream! The outdoor shower and the front porch are great aspects of this house. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, it was everything we needed.

Another fabulous stay!

This was our second year spending a week in this wonderful home! It is such a great size, so well stocked, and well located. We were a group of four adults and two toddlers and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out together, but also have space. The yard was great for the kids and it's an easy walk to the beach. We hope to be back for a third year!

Location of the house was very nice, close to the beach, small grocery store and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well stocked. Two of the ladies were disappointed that the bikes that they thought would be there were not.

Ideal home for a family getaway

Our adult children joined us for Memorial Day beach weekend and this property was perfect. Spacious, immaculate, cozy, well equipped and beautiful. Yard was lovely, too. Great location with pass to town beach and parking. Fantastic restaurants and shops easily accessible. Communication and check in were very easy and owner was kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great Location

We just returned home from our daughter's graduation weekend. It was an easy drive to campus for the graduation ceremony. The house had a great layout and was impeccably clean inside and out! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Nice outdoor space. Easy walk to the beach, ice cream, pizza, a small grocery store and a few other things in that area. We would love to come back for a longer stay in the summer!

Great Graduation Getaway!

We had an amazing weekend at this house this past weekend for my daughter’s graduation from URI! The house is beautiful, has plenty of space, and a very well stocked kitchen. I only wish that we were there longer to enjoy the property even more. It is in the perfect location for restaurants, shops, and beaches. Thank you for hosting us and next time will be for a longer stay!

Peaceful Matunuck retreat

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! We found it clean and comfortable and having everything we needed for our family vacation. Communications with the owner were friendly and very accommodating. The home is on a quiet street surrounded by trees, so you can enjoy a peaceful morning on the porch before heading to the activity of the beach or one of the restaurants in the main part of town. Our teens especially loved the basement hang-out with the pool table. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved location

House was great , good size . Problem with upstairs bathroom sink draining very slowly. Reached out to manager and heard absolutely nothing back. Communication very poor . Other than that, enjoyed our stay, kitchen well equipped and 2 out of the 3 beds we’re comfortable

Matunuck house has lots of room to spread out

Beautiful house with large kitchen, nicely equipped. Lots of space with 1 master bedroom and bath down stairs and 2 large bedrooms and a bath upstairs. We were provided with an abundance of bath towels on both floors. Nice neighborhood among some corn fields and just a short walk to the local grocery store and ice cream shop. The only drawback was all the seaweed on the beach with the free pass and also seaweed n the water. We really couldn't swim so we ended up going to one of the state Park beaches, which were 15 minutes away and had a parking fee.
