This is an impeccably cared for home in a lovely neighborhood that is located near pretty much all the wonderful things Santa Fe has to offer. Kevin was the perfect host, quick to respond to our questions, and always helpful and gracious. We look forward to returning!
House is very unique and an antique. Nice furnishings and well equipped kitchen. Could have used some extra towels and wash clothes. Very convenient to downtown and we walked everywhere.
The house was not very clean. We found muddy dog tracks on the couch and walls. The large bedroom in the rear had pet hair in the bed. The casita has limited hot water for showers. Be clear that this in older home with older electric and plumbing.
We had a great time staying at Kevin's house. It was very clean, comfortable, well stocked, and in an amazing location... 20 mins walking distance from the Plaza and only 5 mins from Canyon Road. The listing does mention a hot tub but we didn't find one on the property... even still, we had a great and relaxing time at the house. We'd definitely stay here again if we are ever in Santa Fe! The host was pretty responsive to our questions, and we had no major issues.
The moment we walked into the main house, we felt like we were home. It was perfect for my family of 4. There were 2 separate sleeping areas complete their own bathroom and bedroom, TV and seating area that could be closed off from the bustle in the main living areas. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and utensils and the dinning room was cozy to eat and play games with our extended family. The casita was adorable for my mom and dad to stay. It was nice for them to have their own area. While absolutely charming, I will mention those that are tall will have a little trouble in the casita. The door to the bathroom, the shower and the bed are not made for those over 6 feet. Both houses were a treat to stay and enjoy the authentic architecture, beautiful hardwood floors and quiet location. Kevin was very quick at responding to my questions - thank you!
The house and casita have incredible charm. This trip was for a friends gathering so we made full use of the house and casita. The plaza is about a 20" walk and at the top of an inclined street which was challenging for one of our party. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and paper towels are provided but recommend bringing your own coffee for personal choice as there is no Keurig on this property. In addition, the security lights go on/off continuously even though nothing appears to be setting them off and you can't shut them off during your stay.
We traveled with 5 adults. The Casita was great to have for extra room. There is lots of seating outside. The inside has everything you need.
Very peaceful wooded neighborhood that is a short walk to the best parts of Santa Fe. By "best parts" I mean Canyon Road Galleries and local restaurants. We avoided the plaza because their are too many obnoxious cars and motorcycles cruising around.
Recommend the Mud Hut for coffee and hand-held breakfast items. The tea house is great for a little nice atmosphere and a little more upscale food but not too expensive.
It was very convenient and easy to get to. The home is very nice - set back in a condo setting. It has its own private yard which is very peaceful. Well stocked and very functional.
The obvious history reflected in the house and furnishings was exactly to our liking. It has every modern convenience at the same time. Kitchen well-outfitted and arranged, multiple comfortable gathering spots inside and out. We walked almost everywhere to do our exploring. Thank you, Kevin!
My sisters and I stayed in this beautiful house. It was very spacious and had gorgeous, authentic furnishings that we loved. The beds were very comfortable. Nice outdoor patio for afternoon cocktails. It was within walking distance to just about anything you could want. We loved our stay!
Our stay at Historic Eastside was wonderful! We had family members traveling to Santa Fe from different locations on the east coast for an outdoor wedding up in the Sangre de Cristo mountains and wanted to base ourselves in a convenient location. This was perfect for easy access into the Plaza and many places to explore by walking.
The accommodations were perfect for us, and La Casita as separate quarters was greatly appreciated. Everything was very clean and well stocked, but not cluttered. The weather was on the cool side but we took advantage of the porches and abundant sunshine to keep us comfortable. Although there are neighbors close by, it felt very private.
Thank you, Kevin!
We loved this warm, comfortable house for our month in Santa Fe! The location was perfect for getting anywhere, lots of parking, a really well-supplied kitchen, and comfy beds and baths! We had from 2-6 adults at all times and it was just great! Kevin was great to work with, and we would choose it again if we ever need this much room!
This home was very clean, beautifully decorated and in a great location. Our family of five adults meeting up from different locations found this to be an ideal stay. We especially enjoyed sitting on the comfortable porch after a day of sightseeing.
Lovely home. Unfortunately for us, we visited during a heat wave. The daytime was comfortable, the nighttime was hot. Larger , pedestal vans for each sleeping area would make sleeping more comfortable.
This is a great place for family or group in downtown Sante Fe. Main house and casita perfect for my wife and I and three adult kids. Easy walk to Plaza, easier walk to galleries and shops on Canyon Road. Bird preserve and hiking minutes away.
Property spotless. Note no A/C, but adobe construction kept things cool in June 2021 heatwave in the SW.
I'd absolutely come back to this place!

Canât beat the location and comfort of this rental. We felt right at home the entire time. Our family used both the main house and the casita and weâre very comfortable and happy. Thank you for sharing this lovely house with us. We will be back.
My family had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! Location was perfect, communication was super easy & house was charming and as pictured. Would highly recommend!
For our first trip to Santa Fe, we had a particular list of requirements; walk to the plaza, space for 6 adults, authentic adobe charm. This home met all our needs and more! The home was just the right size for us and the attached casita was a wonderful bonus for our newly married son and daughter-in-law to have a little extra privacy. We loved the charming southwest decor and interesting nooks and crannies found throughout this property. We enjoyed a fire in the kiva every night and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook many of our meals. The beds were very comfortable with crisp clean linens and soft duvet covers. Responsive and helpful owners were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this property.
