This was perfect for us. We walked to Montrose Harbor, to great restaurants in every direction & had several music venues within walking distance as well.
right size for 2 people, designated parking space, great location, 2-3 blocks from the EL (10 minutes to Wrigley, 20 minutes to downtown), good neighborhood, restaurants & bars within an easy walk. Go to Big Joe's on Friday's for the turtle races.
The check-in process was easy, the owners were communicative and we had the instructions before our stay. The property was clean and pretty well equipped. Just a couple blocks from the red line, and a short walk to Clark St, it was very easy to get around.
Great little property, convenient location, cute neighborhood
Great location, convenient to the train, scooters, and electric bikes. Fun little neighborhood lots an options and quick little trip to Wrigley and the waterfront. The unit was very clean, communication with owners very easy and included parking was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend
We enjoyed the location of the apt to the grocery, stores restaurants and the CTA rail and bus. There were dishes and cookware to use during our stay. The neighbors were very quite and the neighborhood was peaceful.
This condo was a wonderful place to stay. The location is very close to the redline CTA, as well as to the quaint Andersonville, full of nice restaurants and bars. It felt safe, in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
Great little place with dedicated off-street parking
My husband and I stayed here while helping one adult son move apartments, and having dinner with another son. Great location for visiting both, and very nice to have dedicated off-street parking . (However, we were driving a full-size SUV - Toyota Highlander - and my husband is a large man. Fitting the car into the space next to a fence, while leaving him room to exit, was a little tricky, but we managed it. Just had to leave extra time for leaving the space.) The VRBO apartment was spacious, actually bigger than we needed for our short stay, and nicely furnished and supplied. Would definitely consider staying again when back to visit our sons. One caveat, again from my large husband - the toilet seat seemed about 3/4 size. He found that awkward. I had no issues.
Great location in Andersonville on a quiet residential street. A short walk to Clark Street and convenient to buses and the Red Line. Hosts were easy to work with and provided lots of great info about the area.
Me and my best friend rented this for a long weekend away. So close to all Andersonvilleâs best. Clean, comfortable bed and couch, easy to walk to almost anything. The hosts give clear check in / check out instructions as well as all the other rules of the property. Parking spot is tight so just donât bring a huge car if you are able.
Very well lit street in a safe neighborhood. Lots of amazing asian restaurants and everything is within walking distance. Parking was a bit tight and would be easily fixed if some vegetation were trimmed. Short drive to Michigan Ave. We'd certainly stay here again.
Perfect Andersonville Stay and Great Communication
My stay was wonderful, enhanced by great communication and thoughtfulness demonstrated by the owners. The unit is attractive, clean, and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The washer and dryer made packing light for a longer trip much easier. Consider this listing a top choice if you're looking to enjoy all of the amenities of Andersonville in a comfortable home away from home.
I brought my grandson to go to a Cubs game Navy pier downtown all the typical tourist things. We found this apartment to be very comfortable. It had a lot of extra food condiments to use even though I didnât cook. I appreciated everything that they had for our comfort. Alex was very communicative. He even suggested local eateries we might enjoy and told us how to get to the Cubs game and where the train stop was.Had a wonderful time.
It was a great location, but none of the amenities worked (dishwasher, washing machine). Even when we contacted the host, they were unhelpful. Uncomfortable bed and choice.
We had family come in from out of town and we had another rental but we needed more room. I was able to find this unit which was within walking distance to our other rental.
Conveniently located to the Red line, shopping and nightlife. We walked into downtown Andersonville on both Clark and Broadway. We walked to Jewel/OSCO for groceries. We walked to several bars on Broadway at night and felt safe.
We took the Red line to Loyola University, downtown to the River Walk North, Mag Mile, and Millennium Park.
Rather than call an Uber/Lyft, to get to MDW, we took the Red line to the Roosevelt stop and transferred to the Orange line which went to MDW, about 45 minute ride.
Would definitely stay again if we make it back to Chicago.
Thank you!
