Summer getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The property met all of expectations, we weren’t ever needing anything more than what was provided. The use of the boat slip was fantastic and being level with the lake was so enjoyable. We will definitely be considering staying again!

Great house on an amazing piece of property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ben's lake house. Ben was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location of the house is fantastic, practically *in* the lake! We could not have asked for a better getaway and look forward to staying again!

Great experience at Ben's house

Ben is a great host!! The house was very clean and nice and the waterfront with lawn and boat dock was great. The house had everything we needed for a great vacation. We cant wait to stay here again. It was a great experience renting from Ben.

Awesome vacation

This property is beautiful; the lake access is amazing- my 5 year old son loved the slide and floating on a raft on the lake. We rented a boat for 3 days which was a great experience. The house is clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The property owner checked in with us multiple times during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Reunion at the Lake

Ben was great at responding to my questions and text messages. House was clean and had everything we needed. Great location on the lake, just a 10 minute walk from our friends summer house. Peaceful and quiet which is what we wanted. Plenty of space in the house. We would absolutely return! Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful view and great lake house!

Great property and very attentive host! Host was very responsive and helpful. View was amazing! Perfect boat dock too. A few small issues but host responded in a timely manner. Property is far from town on the southern most portion of lake, which is very quiet. Skaneateles lake is one of the best lakes in the U.S. in my humble opinion (although it's quite chilly - 62 to 68 degrees for us). Overall a great experience!

Lovely!

We had a wonderful week at this home. The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and well designed for comfort. The waterfront/lake was beautiful —crystal clear water with no weeds. Two kayaks come with the house. It’s about 25 minutes to the picturesque town of Skaneateles and many other great attractions. What a lovely experience.

Memories of Skaneateles Lake!

I grew up in Skaneateles & was able to give my family (grown children & grand-babies) a wonderful week on the lake in a beautiful home with level lake front access. The host, Ben was simply amazing with immediate communication. We did not have any issues. Thanks SO much Ben! I cannot recommend this property enough! I would give a ten star review if I could!

Great stay!

In my opinion, you will be renting the best property within a couple of miles. The building and property are kept immaculate. It's very clean, well kept and beautiful. You will have everything you need to enjoy your time at the lake. The owner will be in touch with you once in a while with tips and tricks about the area but will not be in your way. When ever we had a question he was super responsive. Be sure to stop on the north end of the lake and spend a couple of hours walking around. Highly recommended.

An amazing week!

Veyr nice, the house is well kept and very clean. My two kids (13yrs and 10yrs) and I spent most of our days on the boat or swimming right in front of the house. The kids enjoyed the slide and the diving board as well. We would wrap most nights with dinner on the deck taking in the great views. The air conditioning was very nice as the avg temps last week were 90+ degrees. Ben the owner was very attentive, he contacted me a couple times during the week to make sure all was well which I appreciated. Great place, would rent again for sure!

Family vacation

I was tentative about being so south on the lake, but I found this property to be perfect. The water was completely clear and it didn't take as long as I thought it would to get to the village of Skaneateles. Ben was fabulous from the time I booked, a year ago, until we left. The WiFi went down while we were there, and he called to have it taken care of as soon as I contacted him. Ben checked in multiple times during the week to be sure all was well. The property has a great deck (that is right along the water) with four Adirondack chairs which was great for early morning tea and late day/early evening reading. The location was quiet. I liked how the Master and another good size bedroom were on opposite sides of the house, so everyone had their privacy. There were 3 bathrooms, with showers, and a washer and dryer. My only caveat would be to be prepared for stairs. I had asked my mother (80 year old) to go and I'm glad she declined. There are many stairs which was fine for us, but not for someone who this may be an issue for. We had a great time and would recommend this property to others.

Wonderful Skaneateles Lakehouse

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakehouse. It met or exceeded all of our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone planning a relaxing stay on the jewel of the Finger Lakes. Ben, the owner was extremely accommodating and responsive.

Best Vacation Ever

If you’re thinking about booking this property, this is your sign to do so. My family and I keep referring to this as the “best vacation ever”. We loved it so much, we immediate rebooked for next year. The lake is breathtaking. The cleanest lake I’ve ever seen. The house is immaculate, roomy, and has everything you need. In addition, the outside space is perfection. We sat around the fire pit every night, ate dinner outside on the picnic table, and spent our day time lake front. This is truly a special property and cannot wait to return. Thanks so much, Ben!

Fantastic Lake House!

We had a wonderful week celebrating our parents 50th Anniversary. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and the kids had so much fun swimming and fishing. Ben is a fantastic host and readily answered any questions we had. We highly recommend this beautiful lake house!

We plan on staying at this property again and again. I’ve researched a lot of properties on Skaneateles lake and this is one of the best! Being directly on the water has the most stunning views everyday, even when it rains! The house is well stocked, very clean and I appreciated even the small details like boxes of tissues in each room. Wifi and tv were great as well. The adults and kids enjoyed the outdoor activities like the diving board, water mat and kayaks/ canoe. We highly recommend renting a pontoon boat from the marina. Ben was an excellent communicator, made sure we got in ok and checked on us mid week. Plan in advance bc this property gets booked up quickly. Thank you for a wonderful time Ben!

Best place in skaneateles

Well all I have to say is wow! Literally a little piece of lake heaven! We had the best week for the 7 of us. We rented a pontoon boat for the week , jumped in lake off the diving board, grilled, had bonfires, fished, shopped and ate in town of skaneateles and just enjoyed the week! Ben was amazing host! You will not regret this house!

Clean lake front house

We had a great time at this house! Being right next to the water give hours of entertainment to the kids while adults can enjoy a nice scenery. This place is clean, comes with everything we need, and the host is super friendly. We look forward to coming back!!!

When the lake is the backyard!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! My 12yr old daughter specially loved the diving board and raft, which made for lots of time spent playing in the lake. We brought our paddle boards.and corn hole set, tried to spend as much time out in the water and out on the deck and grass area. We also rented a pontoon-boat for a couple of days and used the boat slip which was very convenient. We took the boat out for sunset cruises and to Glen Haven Inn for dinner. The house is well equipped with everything one may need... from a fully stacked kitchen, to life jackets for water activities. The house was very clean and well kept. Very comfortable for our family of five and grandma!! We will be back!

Great summer getaway

We had a great week at Ben's lake house. Beautiful location, well kept home. The outside space is awesome and we spent a lot of time in the second floor loft area too. We have already booked it again for next summer.

Relaxing getaway

After COVID required us to cancel our original plans we decided time away from it all sounded perfect. And perfect it was! The house is beautiful, clean, and comes with everything you need. The kayaks were a nice surprise. Ben is great with communicating back and forth and answering any questions. All in all a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

I am a life long resident of Central NY and I have been fortunate enough to raise my family here as well. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful area! I went to school in Fairfield, CT for Psychology, but ultimately decided to move back to Upstate New York and couldn't have made a better decision.

My wife and I purchased this property because it is in the heart of the finger lakes, on one of the cleanest lakes in the country. Close to the picturesque town of Skaneateles for shopping and dining, it is an all around wonderful experience whether you are out and about, or simply relaxing lakeside.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This property is unique compared to many others on the lake, simply because it is located on flat lake frontage with a large grass area and deck to enjoy your time on. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting outside on the deck, or on the 2nd floor landing that makes you feel as if you are on a boat due to the large windows. The 3 full bathrooms are updated and clean and house includes an eat in kitchen as well as a dining room table enough for your whole family to enjoy meals on. House includes washer/dryer, dishwasher and fully working kitchen.House comes with a slip to keep your boat safe in throughout your stay. If you do not have a boat, no worries, there is a rental company on the lake for you rent one for the week. Includes all amenities that will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
