Twin View Log Cabin

We had a great time at this private, cozy cabin on the edge of the woods. The property was clean and yard mowed upon arrival. The large mowed area provided a great place to walk our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio with a fire some evenings—fire permit cost $5. The property was honestly advertised and cost fit our budget. The location allowed convenient access to the various notches of the White Mountains.

Good Location Basic Affordable Lodging Option

Property central to all White Mountain locations. There is some areas that house needs some updates, however, for the price, this is a good option for someone who has pets and needs a place to stay a few days.

Great stay at the log home.

We enjoyed our stay at the log home. It was a very chilly weekend, but the cabin was nice and warm even though the upstairs bedrooms did not have heating ducks. There were electric portal heaters in the upstairs bedrooms which we only used for a few hours each night. We will definitely stay at the log home again!!

Perfect Spring Vacation

I had a good time with my family at this house, it was very clean free of dust, wifi works perfect but bring your own roku so you can enjoy your movies. Nice location close to everything but you still have lots of privacy to enjoy the woods.

Enjoyed this cabin stay

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. Place was clean, location was convenient since we wanted to explore white mountains. Only complaint is that the house is slightly outdated but it was well-stocked with all comforts. Strong wifi, all the utensils you’d need in the kitchen, and they even had some cool toys our kids got to play with. Would recommend this place for folks visiting the area with family.

Great place for kids to play outside!

Very large surrounding yard. Great to play ball and frisbee outside. Nice firepit for roasting marshmellows.

Cozy log cabin

Great for our family of 4. Plenty of parking. Location was convenient to town, skiing and hiking. Cabin had a rustic, comfortable feel, wood stove was a nice touch. We had everything we needed. Checkin/checkout was easy-place was super clean.

Cozy mountain stay

Awesome stay, perfect if you have dogs! My family loved it as it was close to the mountains, water, cog railway amongst many other places. My only complaint would be that the bathroom sink did not properly drain and the toilet takes a long time to flush. Other than that we loved it and would stay again.

Great getaway

The log cabin was everything we needed for our few days away. Loved that we could bring our three dogs. The only thing it was lacking was somewhere to sit outside. There was one Adirondack chair outback. Otherwise it was great!!

Great home base for Bretton!

We had a great stay at the cabin. Check in/out couldn’t have been easier. The front porch/entryway was perfect for peeling off gear each day and plenty of room to spread out inside. Being only 10 min from Bretton made it super easy to run one kid home early if needed and then head back out later to pick another one up late! We’d love to come back again soon!

The house was close to hiking areas which was very nice. It’s the little things that make the difference between an ok experience and a great experience. A few items that would really improve the experience at this house are a sponge to clean dishes with, a garbage can lid that is operational by foot rather than broken and having to use hands, and screens in more windows so one can open up and cool the house down. A curtain over the blinds of the downstairs bedroom would block the car lights at night and the sun in the morning. Something not fixable is how close to a busy road the house is which was loud if outside or the windows were open. Cool old house but a few easy things could’ve made our experience much nicer. Also, upstairs bedrooms looked like they hadn’t gotten thoroughly cleaned before we got there.

Great visit and property.

The place was great; clean, cozy, comfortable and convenient location to things we were doing. Just a couple of things to note as an FYI for the owners. Toilet tank leaked occasionally, I put a bucket under it, to capture the water. The kitchen sink, spray hose would not shut off. Also, a critter, probably a red squid, was in the upper left bedroom cubby. We had a great week and hope to return soon. Thank you Ken

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Way to close to street. Neighbors are eyesore. Didn't pay good money to have terrible site

Wow... we too are certainly regretful that this guests choice in homes was not to their liking. In reviewing records Mr. H chose this property without any assistance or questioning of us regarding, and and that this 'pet friendly' booking was made within 48 hours of arrival on a nearly sold out Holiday Weekend. Again, it is regretful the cabin did not suit the desires and exceptions of this guest, however we believe the review to be a tad harsh toward the property & management while perhaps being more reflective of the guests un-assisted choice. Please always feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have in regards to your choice of vacation home so in order that we answer them before your arrival for your assured comfort and not after departure with mutual displeasure as seen here. Mr. Houlihan, please call us next time so we can better assist you, and perhaps with more than 48 hrs notice, so the choice of pet friendly homes to choose from might better suit your liking. Stock photos were misleading

Honestly I feel somewhat deceived by the listing. The photos made the property look better than the reality. The toilet tank has a slight leak, the shower head is low flow and we found cobwebs on the upper side of the ceiling fan. Also mildew on the underside of the braided rug in the living room. Overall our stay was pleasant but we had to adjust our expectations. The cleaning and maintenance staff needs to spend some time on the property FYI

Winter Get Away

We had an amazing time at this house. We came up for a weekend trip. We did the ice castles Friday night and spent the day Saturday in North Conway. The house was so warm and cozy with the wood stove going! We had three adults and two children and had loads of fun! Our golden retriever loved the trip also!

Nice little cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, my daughter and our dog. The kitchen was convenient and had almost everything we needed to make meals, wash dishes and run the dishwasher - we also used the grill a few times which was great! There were AC's in all the bedroom and the living room which was perfect because it was so hot! The stairs were steep but that's how it goes for a small cabin so it was no big deal. The cabin sits off the main road (Rte 302) but honestly it was very quiet and didn't bother us at all. It is in a very convenient location to everything we wanted to do! The basement did smell damp but we didn't go down there - the family room area was big enough for us. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay! I'm giving it 4 stars because I did text someone at Vacasa, they responded right away and then told me they'd get back to me and never did. And a few items that should be addressed are: 1. The filters in the AC need to be changed 2. Water was dripping from the toilet flapper (flusher) after we flushed the toilet - it wasn't a lot but I've never seen that before.
